Smirking he asks,

"Par tumhe kya farak parhta hai? Tumhe jissey tareef sunni thi, sunn to li tumne. Ab tumhe kya farak parhta hai ki mujhey tum kaisi lag rahi ho, right?"

and stares her. Naina stares back.

When Naina doesn't react even after sometime and keeps staring him, Rajveer asks,

"kya hua?"

Naina, still staring him, her cheeks turning red gradually out of anger, asks,

"apko pata hai, agar aaj mera aap par haq hota to main kya karti?"

Her question surprises him, and he asks, smiling a little,

"kya karti?"

His question turns her even more angry,

"kas kar. apko. ek. thappad marti!"

Her bold answer makes him to laugh and gets him angry, both at the same time. As a result, his own cheeks turn crimson red!

"Tum mein itni himmat hai ki tum mujhey maro?",

he dares her.

"Apko kya pata ki mujh mein kitni himmat hai! Kitna jante hain aap mujhey?",

smirks Naina.

Getting back the same question from Naina, which he asked her moments ago makes him to arch his right eyebrow. But then he is Rajveer Singh Shekhawat, always up for challenge!

"Theek hai Naina! Come on, slap me!",

he dares her, his eyes blazing with lust, love, passion and anger.

His dare visible in his eyes. His words succeeds in giving Naina goosebumps. She didn't expect it coming. Although she didn't lie when she blurt out those words. But whatever it is, saying and executing what you say are two different things! She cannot do that, not because he is her mentor and she should respect him but because she can never hurt him. No, 'Naina hurting Rajveer' these words can't be put together in a line, never! She would rather like to replace the word hurting with the opposite of 'hurting'!

She shakes her head to a 'no', looking deeply into his eyes.

"Kyun Naina? Come on tumhara mentor tumhe keh raha hai ki tum ussey maro aur tum mana kar rahi ho? At least tumse ye expected nahi tha!",

teases Rajveer, smiling, as he enjoys her shyness and scare.

Lowering her eyes, she says,

"mujhey chalna chahiye"

and turns to leave, when Rajveer grabs her hand and pulls her to him and looks deeply into her eyes. They both notice the increased rate of heartbeats of each other.

"Tumne ye to keh dia ki agar tumhara mujh par haq hota to tum kya karti! Ab tum ye sunno ki agar aaj maine tum par haq jataya to main kya karunga!",

he says, uttering each word slowly and clearly which makes her already exhilarating heartbeat to beat even faster! Naina goes dumbstruck on listening to his words, on seeing the look on his face.

Rajveer tells her then,

"agar aaj maine tum par apna haq jataya, to tumhe iss baat ki saza milegi ki tum mere alawa kisi aur ke liye tayar hui ho! Bohot.possessive.hun.main Naina!",

he utters each word slowly, giving her time to understand the depth of his each word, his possessiveness. Then he continues,

"mujhe nahi pasand ki meri 'apni' cheez main kisi ke saath batun!"

Naina's eyes brim with tears. Unable to bear this torture anymore, she hugs him tightly. Not caring whether he'll like her sudden boldness or not, because right now the only thing she wants is to feel him. Make him to realize that he is the only one who is important to her. Make herself to assure that he is not angry with her, they are good together right now! Taking a deep breath after feeling her so close to him for the first time, Rajveer hugs her back, as if his life depends on the hug, on the feel of her which he'll get as he'll hug her tightly, pull her to him.

After ending the hug, he takes her to an arm's distance from him. Looking into her eyes intently, he asks,

"to kya kaha Huda ne tumhe dekh kar?"

Looking into his eyes hesitantly, she says,

"usey main bohot achi lagi! Usne kaha usne jaisa expect kia tha usey bhi achi lag rahi hun main".

Raising his eyebrow he gives a sarcastic smile and says,

"hmm... to usne tumhe imagine bhi kia hua tha ki tum kaisi lagogi? Great!"

His words pinches her to the core.

"Well subki ek expectation hoti hai!",

says Naina.

Smirking, he says,

"Haan aur tum Huda ki expectation puri karti ho, right?"

Without answering his question, she says,

"aur usne ye bhi kaha ki aaj ke baad main azad hun!",

and waits to know his reaction to it.

"Azad?",

asks Rajveer, creasing his brows.

"Ab wo koi aisi-waisi harkat nahi karega mere saath",

tells Naina to Rajveer, all serious.

Rajveer sighs on realizing that she misunderstood him, and tells her,

"Naina mujhey uske mazak se farak nahi parhta. I can understand ki tum log friends ho! Bus mujhse bardasht nahi hoga agar wo apni dosti ke hadd se agey badhey",

and wipes off her tears that roll down her cheeks. They keep staring each-other, none of them saying anything to the other.

Naina's cheeks turn red as she realizes his ulterior motives, visible in his eyes. Still maintaining the stare, she shakes her head a little to a negative. Rajveer softens his eyes a little, pleading her.

"Bus aaj Naina, please!",

he requests, whispering. Naina notices his urge to fulfill his desire and also his increased rate of heartbeat and how he is trying to hold his emotions and asking for permission. She knows, the kind of man he is, he doesn't need any permission to do what his heart desires to do yet he is bending for her, that melts her heart even more.

Smiling, she says,

"pehle aap meri ek baat ka jawab dijiye!"

"Pucho!",

he tries to keep the conversation short because he knows the more words he'll use, the more time will be consumed, and it will delay what he needs right now!

"Jab Major Nayyer mujhey kisi bhi tarah se hurt ya fail karne ki koshish karte hain, tab aap mujhey bachate hain! Par jab hum akele hotey hain, tab aap khud hi mujhey dard dete hain, mujhse ladd kar! Kyun?"

Smiling, looking intently into her eyes, Rajveer answers her question,

"Naina tumhe dard dene ka haq sirf mujhey hai!",

then he pauses, still maintaining the eye contact, then continues,

"kyunki main janta hun ki agar tumhe dard main de raha hun to uski dawa bhi main hi hun!"

On listening to this, Naina's eyes brim with fresh tears.

"Tumhe dard bhi main dunga, aur uss dard se rahat bhi sirf main hi dila sakta hun. Mere gussey mein mera py..",

he doesn't complete and they keep staring each other.

Sighing, Rajveer asks,

"Chalein?",

and turns to leave, when Naina holds his hand from behind, they look into each-other's eyes intently for few seconds and end up hugging each-other, understanding his unsaid words without any doubt! And he understands what she wants!

Ending the hug, Rajveer holds her by her face, looking intently into her eyes, he bends a little to reach her right cheek. The time period when he covers the distance between him and her cheek, makes her heartbeat to accelerate and turns her cheeks red. She clutches his shirt from either side to support her body weight as she realizes that her legs are turning jelly, gradually.

The moment his lips touches her cheek, she inhales the air deeply. Rajveer notices her each reaction. Getting a little away from her, he asks her,

"Naina, agar tum ye nahi chahti to...",

before he could say more, Naina pleads, almost breathless,

"please..."

Smiling wholeheartedly, his eyes brimming with tears out of too much emotion, he kisses her cheek. Naina tilts her head back as he moves down to her neck, giving him full access to her neck. He continues kissing, nibbling her neck, causing her sweet pain.

After few moments, Naina asks him, hesitatingly while his lips are on her neck,

"Kya main kuch kar sakti hun?"

It is then that Rajveer stops. Naina feels the tightening of the muscles of his well built up biceps as she asks for permission. And immediately she feels guilty for asking so!

'Have I offended him somehow?',

she thinks.

Rajveer resumes to his normal position and looks at her. His eyes reflecting his confused state. Unable to understand why is he confused, but not having courage to ask him the same, she keeps staring him, knowing that he'll definitely answer her unasked question. And that is exactly what he does!

"Naina, mujhey adat nahi hai!",

he says, slowly, looking intently into her eyes, assuring himself that she isn't feeling offended.

"Adat nahi hai?"

"Kissi se pyar paney ki!",

he answers honestly, looking into her eyes.

"S...",

she starts to address him but holds back her tongue.

"Raj!",

he smiles.

Naina lowers her eyes, feeling shy. Closing her eyes, she shakes her head. And as she opens her eyes, they tell him that she has taken the decision! Looking into his eyes, she addresses him,

"Rajveer!"

"Aap aise kyun sochte hain ki apse koi pyar nahi karta? Dr.Shalini, Alekh, Huda, Yudi, Pooja, Suriji aur KMA ke baki sabhi cadets apki izzat karte hain, apse pyar karte hain",

she assures him.

"Aur tum?",

he asks her, all of a sudden.

"Bohot pyar karti hun apse. Huda ke saath main bus kuch palon ke liye thi. Humne zada time ek saath spend nahi kia. Aur wahan bhi main apke barey mein soch rahi thi. Apse milna chahti thi, chahti thi ki jald se jald wo shart puri ho. Haan main manti hun ki mujhey aney mein der hui, par isliye nahi kyunki Huda meri tareef kar raha tha ya main uske saath 'enjoy' kar rahi thi, balki isliye kyunki jab main wahan pohnchi to Huda wahan tha hi nahi, uska intezaar kar rahi thi main isliye late hui!",

she tells him everything. Her honesty and her silent commitment towards him, swells his heart and he hugs her tightly.

"I love you Naina! I love you!",

he tells her, love, apology mixed together in his words.

"I love you too Rajveer!",

she tells him, without hesitation, without taking time to reply. They are truly, madly in love with each other.
