Rajveer and Naina talk rarely but its not that they are avoiding each other.. its this thin air of something which is quite new for both them.

Its bn 3 months and Naina has joined her duty back. All are taking care of her.

The routine is set... they  go to office come back eat and then sleep. But Naina is recovering with medicines,  counselling and the love of her family..which includes everyone maa, baba , alekh, his friends, sherry....and Rajveer...

One night at dinner table..

Alekh : Rajveer sir... ab meri posting aa gyi h... m b kuch dino me chala jaunga... tb aapki ... naina ki
... sabki bohot yaad aayegi... apun toh bhul hi gya tha ki apun ek anaath hai.... maa baba naina aur apne... mujhe itna pyar dia hai....

Naina puts her hand over him and smiles.

Naina:  Alekh maine tujhe apna bhai maana h ... aur tu aisi baate karke mera dil dukha raha h...

All are surprised after so long she s talking except work.

Alekh : thank you sir.... ki aapne mujhe milne bulaya.... par apun  ko aj tak aapne bataya nhi ki aisi kya baat thi jo aap krna chahte the.... vo baat jo phone pr nhi ho sakti....

Rajveer remembers why he called him that night but he is confused whether he should be sharing this thought with them or not.

Rajveer : actually....

He looks towards them all

Actually Alekh.... mujhe tumse bhot zaruri baat karni thi....

Boliye naa sir... aap ke liye apun ki jaan bhi haazir hai...

Nahi Alekh.... tum pehle waada karo ki tum kisi zabardasti me ya majburi me koi faisla nhi loge...

Alekh nods

Actually baat main tum teeno se alg alg puch na chahta  tha par aaj mujje bol hi dena chahiye... baki tum par hai...

Alekh Sherry Naina... mai chahta hoon ki..... agar tumhe thik lge toh.... mai apni Sherry  k liye tumhara sath chahta hu Alekh....

All look at him as if they heard something ghostly.

Sherry  : Bhaiiiii

Rajveer : sherry.... tum meri behen ho... main janta hu tumhari zindagi me koi b nhi h... aur agr fir b koi h toh... m tumhe shadi k liye force nhi karunga... par m janta hu ki lalaji ki wajah tum andar se kitni tut gyi ho... kitna akela mehsus krti ho... aur isiliye maine tumhare liye alekh ko chuna hai.... vo har lehje se tumhare layak h... ek behad khubsurat insaan h... par ye srf meri soch h... mai chahta hu tum dono soch samjhkar faisla karo...

Alekh : Sir.... (with moist eyes) sir aap mujhpr itna bharosa kaise kar skte ho... m itna bojh nhi seh paunga...

He stands up from the table and moves to his room. He is not angry but  at one point he s so hpy that rajveer trusts him to this extent but on the other level he s taking it as his 'bheekh'. He finds himself undeserving for Rajveer's sister.

He is feeling low. He starts packing as he cant breathe... its  suffocating.

Sherry too goes to her room ..

Naina looks at him with questioning eyes..

Aap jaante hai naa Alekh  ko... fir ye sab??.

Main jaanta hu tabhi toh chaahta hu ki meri behen ko best mile... aur Alekh  se best koi b nhi hai .... Naina trust me mai bus undono ko khush dekhna chahta hoon.

Till that time Alekh comes back with his luggage.

Rajveer and Naina gets shocked at this.

He comes towards them.

Alekh : (folding his hands in front of them _/\_ ) main chalta hoon sir... bhot din reh liya yaha... har chiz k liye thanku.... bas meri Naina ka khyaal rakhiyega...

Rajveer - alekhhh.... meri baat to suno
..

Alekh- nahi sir.... bus ab chalta hoon... aapka pyaar mujhe manjoor hai... par ehsaan taley ji nahi paunga...

He turns to go out of the house...

Naina - alekh tujhe meri kasam hai....ek baar thande dimag se baat toh sun... ki aakhir sir chahte kya hain.... tujse koi zabardasti nhi kar raha.... please alekh...

Alekh - nhi naina .... mujhe jana h...

Rajveer-  jane do naina usey.... main apni behen k liye jeevan sathi dhund raha hoon aur uske liye mai alekh ko majboor nhi kr sakta.. mere liye alekh bhi utna hi apna hai jitna sherry ... maine best chuna dono k liye... par shayad Alekh ka itna bharosa nhi jeet paya.... jaane do isey...

Naina - par sir...

Rajveer - tum jao alekh... mujhse galti ho gyi... meri wajah se tumhe itna bura lga... mafi chahta hoon _/\_

Alekh - (runs to him and keeps his hands on Rajveer's hands) Sir aisa mat kahiye... mai aapki bohot izzat krta hoon. Par mai laawaris hoon .. aur sherry aur mai... humara koi mel hi nhi hai... aur sherry mujje kyu pasand kregi.. ye us ldki k sath glt hoga....

Naina - hum tumse tumhari rai puch rahe hai... kya tumhe apne liye sherry sahi lgti hai.... thande dimag se socho Alekh... vo bhot achi ldki... mujje pura bharosa h tum usey bhot khush rakhoge...

Alekh- parrrr

Rajveer-  i trust you alekh... socho... aur apna waqt lo... jaldbaazi me koi faisla mat lo...

Alekh nods.

Sherrys room...

Naina - Sherryyyy

Sherry - bhabhi.... aap? Kuch chahiye tha

Naina - nahin bus ... aisi hi aayi...

Sherry doesnt look at her face. It's odd for both of them.

Naina- sir tumse abhi baat krne aana chahte the... par main chahti thi ki pehle main tumse bat kru....

Sherry looks at her.

Naina - Sherry... rajveer sirtumse bohot pyar krte h toh galti se b ye mat samjhna ki tum bojh ho unke liye... vo bas khush dekhna chahte h tumhe.. agar tumhe koi ladka psnd h toh muje batao...  m sir se bat karungi... shayad tum keh nhi pa rahi ho... pr mujhse toh share karogi na? Hum dost h na sherry??

Sherry : nahi bhabhi aisi koi bat nhi hai...

Naina - fir tumhari aankhe jhuki hui kyu h sherry... shyd m tumhare bharose k layak nhi hu... koi bat nhi ... m sir ko bhejti hu .... tum unse apne dil ki bat share krna... thik h... ( she caresses her hair with care and affection)

Naina turns to move and opens the door. Sherry runs to her and hugs her tightly.  She sobs in her arms. Naina closes the door and makes her sit on bed.

Naina - wiping her tears ... kya bat hai sherry???

Sherry - bhabhi mai kisi ke bhi layak nhi hu... mere papa ne jo bhi kia.... m kabhi b apna sir izzat se nhi utha paungi.. rahungi toh m ek gaddar ki beti na.... army me kadam kadam pr mujhpe shak kia jaega.... kaun chahega mere jaisi ldki ka sath... pta nhi bhabhi m kya bol rahi hoon... pr mere dimag me aise bohot se sawal hain... mai bhai ko batati nhi pr... har jgh koi na koi mujhe ek gaddar ki beti hone ka taana mar hi deta h...  pr m kisi or se judkar uski zindagi khrab nhi kr skti...

Naina - sherry... rona nhi .... mai samjh skti hoon... bohot ache se samjh sakti hu... pr tum bhi sach janti ho ki tumhare papa jo bhi the.... par tum ek sacchi deshbhakt ho... aur ye sabse badi sacchayi hai.. aur is tarah tum khud pr doubt kr rahi ho.... jo ki galat  hai sherry.. we are proud of you... you hv to be strong to fight with this  system. Aur is ladai me alekh tumhari himmat bn sakta h agar tum  Haa  karo toh...

Sherry - nahi bhabhi...please... alekh bohot acha ldka hai.... main uske layak nhi hoon... plz bhabhi.. ap uski zindagi kyu barbad kar rahe ho... no bhabhi... (she stands up wiping her tears and speaks in confident voice)

Naina - sherry.... aisa mt samjhna ki vo mera bhai hai... toh m tumhe force kar rahi hu... pr sach yahi h... tum dono ka akelapan alg b hai aur ek jaisa b...tum dono ek dusre k khalipan ko bhot ache se samjh paoge.... tum usey bohot khush rakhogi aur vo tumpar koi aanch b nhi aane dega... pta h sherry... vo muh se thoda kadwa hai... par dil ka bohot meetha h... haan krke dekho tum pachtaogi nhi... aur waise bhi... tum soch samjh k jawab do... koi jldi nhi h...

Sherry nods in understanding.

Naina leaves the room and finds Rajveer leaning on the wall with a smile. He mouthes a thank you to her to which she smiles. He was about to enter sherry's room but he gets a call to which his face turns into a smile

Naina peeps into the phone to find that it was Nandini's number. Rajveer walks downstairs in urgency

Rajveer - ha Nandini... kaam bana???

Naina hears at all finds its quite odd as what does he need....but keeps the thoughts aside.

Rajveer walks towards naina...

Naina kal sunday hai... kal appointment hai... so b ready.... n i was thinking... hum charo movie chale... as thoda ajib sa mahaul ho gya h ghar ka??? Agar tumhe koi dikkat na ho toh...

Naina nods in yes .

In the theatre....

Rajveer - m kuch khaane lo lekar aata hoon... aap log andar jao...

Alekh, Sherry and Naina goes to take their seats.

Alekh n sherry are avoiding each other.

First Sherry sits and alekh leaves one chair empty bcz of the awkwardness.. so naina sits between them.

Rajveer comes there and find the chair empty so he gets settled on the empty chair...

Ranjhanaa...

All are enjoying the movie... except a mixed tension between Rajveer n Naina and Alekh and Sherry.

Naina is alil sad. She wanted him to sit next to her. Though she wont talk to him but still she wants him close. It gives her a different peace.

She bends a little to see him and thats when Alekh catches her. She behaves as if she was looking somewhere. Alekh smiles.

Rajveer too feels a lil disheartened to see her sitting between them but he being much mature, relaxes after some time. He understands the tension between Alekh n Sherry. Hence doesn't forces anyone.

In interval... Alekh walks towards Sherry.

Alekh  : woh.... apun ko bolna tha ki.... apun is sab bato ko chhod deta h na... dost toh h hi... baki ittna khali fokat tension kaaiko badana... kam se kam apun log dost k tarah toh bat kr skte h na... wrna apun k chkkr me ye dono yede b pareshan honge. (He points towards Rajveer n Naina)

Sherry - matlab???

Alekh - yediiii.... mera mtlb.... Sherry.... vo meri behen hai na... apun dono k bich me fas gyi h... aur sir toh bolenge nhi.... un dono ko sath me baithaane k liye... hume sath baithna pdega... to tuu.... zada soch mat... apun in log k liye itna toh kr hi skta h.. kyun??

Sherry smiles and nods.

All four enter and Sherry and alekh sit together leaving Rajveer n Naina.

They feel confused at Sherry n alekhs behaviour but gets settled in their seats.

Alekh turns to see naina n Rajveer.

Naina's smile has broaden... her eyes are sparkling with happiness. Her concentration is not in the movie.  She keeps her right hand on the handrest and leans into him a lil more... feeling all the way tingling in her body. She feels scared if he gets to know that she is leaning on him, consciously.
Rajveer too is enjoying her smell and approximity. Every now n then he is looking at her... checking her well being... asking her if she wants anything...

But she gets a mini attack when he leans his body towards her side, not touching her but close enough to make her feel butterflies in her stomach..

She losses all her concentration.. just enjoying the proximity and warmth of his body being close to her. How they are sharing a single large popcorn tub.. accidentally touching each other's hand.

All head back for dinner.
'I toh loved the second half.... but why did he die... he could have saved himself' says sherry.

Naina says out of the box, in her own world,
'Who died in the movie ? '

All look at her, unbelievably...

'Bhabhi.... hero hi mar gya... apkaa dhyaan kidhar tha......??????'

All eye her questioningly.

'Oh ha... hero... dhanush.. haan voh.... voh mar gya...' says naina all confused.

'Tum thik ho Naina?  Koi pareshani h kya?' Asks rajveer in tension.

Naina smiles and nods in no.

She felt unbelievable at the fact that she doesn't what the movie was all about... she mentally cursed herself fr being in another zone... zone of Rajveer.
