Rajveer and Naina were heading for the reception party. She was looking so beautiful in white saree..simple and elegant! He was looking dapper in his suit ... oh goddd.... so sexy.. so handsome! His face was as pale as death, showing no emotions. He was looking as if some one had stollen away his smile..his reason to live.

Reception party was grand and every known person was invited. From Brigadiors to Cadets, from relatives to friends.. everyone was invited. Rajveer has invited the whole world to celebrate his happiness and he made sure that Naina's loved ones are also invited. Everybody was shocked and happy too. They were gossiping about Rajveer and Naina's relationship. It was ethically incorrect for them but deep down, they know that Rajveer n Naina deserves to be happy. They were gem of a person and the best soldiers, our country has! Both of them have commited themselves totally to their motherland.

As they started entering into the party hall, they saw guests cheering, hooting, whistling and applauding for them .. Not a single person was able to take their eyes off from them.They both were looking breathtakingly gorgeous. Rajveer came back to his senses (who was lost somewhere since he headed for here), when Shalini came forward to greet him.

Shalini : come on captain... ap aj bhi khoye huye hain.. ab toh apko yakeen kr hi lena chahiye ki Naina sirf aapki hai.

Rajveer plastered a smile. Shalini asked him to move further towards the stage area. They started walking towards the stage, when Pooja stopped them and took their hands and made them hold each other's hands. His right hand was holding her left hand. His grip was light but her grip was strong enough to realise him of her presence. Now Rajveer started sweating a little on his forehead and without looking at Naina, he went forward and Naina was also walking along with him. She was stunned to see all the arrangements. He knew that all the preparations was done by the man himself.. Rajveer.. yes he planned it all.he took care of each n every detail, just to see asmile on her face. Everything was according to her taste. Guests were showering rose petals on them. Their was light music playing in the background. As soon as they reached the stage, he left her hand. They were now standing on the stage and guests started congratulating them one by one. Photos were being clicked. They hardly got a chance to sit or to look at each other.

Just then, they heard somebody... It was Shalini. Shalini was standing on the dance floor with microphone in her hands. Everybody's focus shifted to her.

Shalini : Attention ladies n gentleman... and our special jodi for tonight... (she looked towards Rajveer and Naina. Winked at them) Aaj ki shaam bohot khubsurat hai... Mere best friend aur meri best cadet aj finally ek dusre k sath hain... Kuch logo ko lgta h ki ye galat hai... frankly speaking muje koi fark nhi pdta... kunki jb wo dono sahi the , tab bhi logo ne unhe galat thehraya... khair in sab chizo pr mitti daalo... kyunki hum sab jaante h ki Pyar ek khubsurat ehsaas h.... aur in dono ne toh sirf ek dusre par bhrosa kia..vo bhrosa jo dheere dheere inhe pyar ki manzil tk le gya! wo bhrosa jo shayd ... km se km maine to kisi or couple me nhi dekha... I love you both guys... just stay strong ... stay the way you are... trust each other and love each other till the end or even beyond life.

Hearing her words, Rajveer looked at Naina. She definitely knew that he was looking at her. Without looking at him she gave him a smirk, which didnt go unnoticed by Rajveer.

Shalini : Captain.. Naina ko bad me ghur lena... now concentrate here... Haan to m kaha thi?? Ha... This beautiful night is totally dedicated to Raina, I mean Rajveer and Naina. And how is it even possible, to not invite them on dance floor..

Everyone started cheering...

Sherry : Come on bhayya.. bhabhi... chak de fatte... jldi jldi aa jayiye...

Rajveer and Naina were turned into statues by then. As if they could nt breathe properly.. They were both expressionless.

Shalini : come on captain..dnt be so shy.. she is your wife now.. ask her to dance, like a gentleman...we are waiting.. (winking at him)

Rajveer was cursing himself for planning all this.Yes this was his plan to dance with her today and to make her feel special like a normal husband would do. What he didnt know was that his life is soon going to be upside down. He was scared, lost and was loosing his confidence and strength. He somehow gathered the courage and looked at her. He hesitantly forwaded his right hand towards Naina and looked in her eyes as if pleading to say yes. He whispered with so much pain plz Naina... Naina smiled briefly and gave him her hand. They walked towards the dance floor.

Shalini : DJ hit the music!

Rajveer was unable to think of something . He almost forgot that they were there to dance. He was continuously looking at the guests, then at his cadets and friends and he stopped at her parents, who were smiling their hearts out. They were happy beyond limits. He could the see the immense trust, they have on him in their eyes. He could not think of anything else now. For them, he has to behave normally. He decided to dance as if nothing was wrong between him n her! He turned around to face Naina and took her left hand and put it on his right shoulder. Putting his right hand on her waist, he intertwined his left hand with her right hand. Now they are holding each other but they cud nt start dancing becoz they were standing a lil away from each other. That little distance was enough to keep him away from her. That lil difference was the reflection of their broken relationship. He didnt have the courage to lessen the distance between them. He looked in her eyes without showing any emotion. Then it was her turn. She drags herself close to him...very close... lessening the distance. Shocked with her move, he realised the proximity, looked downwards and then again in her eyes. She could feel his heavy breaths on her face. She smirked and averted her eyes and then again looked at him to enjoy his shaken n devastated condition. He was shattered and hell confused. He knew what She was trying to remind him. He could see her bold move warning him again of her victory over him! His face went pale again remembering what happened a few hours ago!

FLASHBACK...

Just then she realised, a strong pair of hands was turning hr to him.. it was Rajveer who made her face him. They had a eyelock of a few seconds and then he said it softly,

I LOVE U NAINA

ALL HE GOT AS A RESPONSE FROM HER , WAS A TIGHT SLAP ON HIS RIGHT CHEEK!

The sound of the thundering slap echoed in their room. A dumstruck Rajveer was standing in front of a furious Naina. They both stood still for minutes which felt like a lifetime.He was shell shocked! He was still trying to grasp the shock of this unexpected incident. He couldnot understand anything. His mind was blocked with the thought of this unwanted and unexpected slap. He was searching for all the possible reasons .All he remember was he being slapped by someone mean world to him... He was lost. He was not able to say anything at all. He was just piercing in her eyes to get all the answers. His world was upside down! She made him go weak at the knees. He was trying to make himself stand there with a lot of difficulty, but he had no other choice!

Naina : (with tight jaw muscles and anger frustration visible on her face) Kya hua Captain ?? Bohot taklif ho rahi hai? Samjh nahi aa raha na, ki aakhir hua kya? Ab aapne apne dil ki baat mujhe kahi toh mera bhi farz banta hai ki mai bhi apko apne dil ki bat sach sach bta doon! Aur ye thappad hi apke confession ka jawab hai. Yes Captain Rajveer Singh Shekhawat.. ye thappad hi mera jawab hai... (she clenched her fist to hold her anger)

Apko kya laga mai apse pyaar krti hu? Come on captain... dont behave like an idiot! Kya maine kbhi bhi apse kaha ki mai apse pyar krti hu? Kbhi bhi kaha? Nahi na. Toh fir apko kyu lga?

GET IT STRAIGHT IN YOUR HEAD CAPTAIN THAT I HATE YOU ...CAPTAIN RAJVEER SINGH SHEKHAWAT. I HATE U TO THE CORE! JITNI NAFRAT MAI APSE KARTI HU, UTNI SHAYAD KISI NE KISI SE NHI KI HOGI!

Rajveer was unable to grasp her words. Each word coming out of her mouth was breaking his heart into millions of pieces..

Rajveer: akhir maine kiya kya hai Naina?? (Gathering all the courage, he could utter, these words only)

Naina: You killed my brother captain Shekhawat (in a piercing voice).You took his life away. Ofcourse I know you freed him from all the pain and sorrow but this is all what you think! Maine kaha tha na captain jis din mai apne bhai ko begunaah sabit krdungi us din, mai tumhe khud apne hatho se shoot karungi..

I LL DROP YOU DEAD IN FRONT OF ME CAPTAIN RAJVEER. I LL KILL YOU!

aur bas main apna wahi wada pura kar rahi hu! Apko pal pal marte dekhna chahti hu! Apko kya laga maine apko maaf kardia? Bilkul nahi... mai apko kbhi b maaf nhi kr sakti captain. Us din abhimanyu ke samjhane ke bad, ya yoon kahu k usne jb mujhe ye btaya ki ap apni jaan ki prwaah kiye bina us red box ko lene gye hain, tab muje ehsaas hua ki m kitni galat thi. Mujhe kbhi bhi apse bat krna nahi chodna chahiye tha kunki ap mujhe mere bhai k gunahgaaro tak pahunchane wali kadi the! Mujje khud pr gussa bhi aya..Mujhe actually samjh aane lga ki mujhe aage kya karna hai..Muje apko istemaal krke apni manzil tak pahunchna tha. Aur fir maine apko maaf krne ka natak kia. Shayad apko lga hoga ki m apko bachaane aayi thi huda, ali aur Puja k sath..pr hakikat toh ye hai ki m us kadi ko wapas se khona nahi chahti thi.. mera maksad mujhe ap tk khinch laya captain. Pr sach kahu agar us din ap us aag me jalte to hr ek pal mujhe sukun milta... wo sukun jiski talash muje ajtak h!

Rajveer's eyes were brimmed with tears and his throat was feeling dry!

Naina: Apne suna hi hoga ki mai kaise pagal ho gyi thi jb maine apko marte dekha. So to clear ur doubts about that captain.... well ap vo akhri insaan the jo mujhe mere bhayya ki sacchayi sabit krne me madad kr skte the.... apke sath meri har ummeed khatam ho gyi thi.. mera sapna meri manzil sab kuch ....sb kuch khtm ho gya ek pal me... muje apke jeene marne se koi fark nhi pdta... pr mujhe mere maksad ke khatre me padne se fark pdta h.. us waqt mujhse meri ummeed chhin li aapne... mujje samjh hi nhi aa raha tha ki akhir kya karu kya nahin?? Mera maksad mere liye sab kuch tha.. aur ap captain... ap mere liye srf ek zariya... sirf ek zariya ... (she repeated her line to tell him what he really was for him) baki aur kuch b nhi!

He was looking towards the floor as if to hide himself. Tears started rolling down his eyes, as if he was holding them for years.. he wiped them off but fresh tears made their way through his cheeks. His whole body was trembling. His mind was still not able to gauge the situation. There were so many questions still unanswered. He again looked at her but not in her eyes to hide the pain he was going through and to avoid to see so much of hatred she carries in her eyes for him. He yelled on her but this time with anger in his voice,

Rajveer : jab tum mujhse itni hi nafrat krti ho... toh ye shadi kyu ki ? Kyun ki Naina???? Kyuuu???
