At the party Suriji takes the mic and announces,

"Aisa hai...",

but to his horror he finds all of them busy in enjoying the party. He fails to drag their attention.

Out of anger, he scolds,

"Chup chap meri baat sunno khoteyo, warna abhi subko line mein karke ek-ek ke kaan mein sir kar dena hai maine!"

His signature words succeed in dragging the attention of one and all. Suriji smiles thinking how they all are scared of his scolding. Within moments Suriji's eyes fall on Brigadier Chandok who is standing in front of him with the crowd. Brigadier Chandok's glare has it's affect on Suriji. Suriji quickly lowers his eyes out of nervousness.

He quickly focuses back on his announcement escaping looking towards Brigadier Chandok as much as possible.

"Jaise ke tum sab khotey jante ho ke aaj hum sub yahan Brigadier Chandok ka happy wala birthday celebrate karne aye hain. To cake-shake cutting aur gana bajana to hona chahiye. Hai ke nahi?",

smiles Suriji.

All the people cheer together out of excitement. All of this makes Brigadier Chandok to blush. His eyes brim with tears seeing so much love of his cadets and faculty members for him.

Rajveer's eyes search Naina every now and then.

Slapping Yudi on his shoulder, Pooja asks him,

"Oye Yudi tu ne Naina ko dekha kahin?"

"I don't know man, maine nahi dekha",

replies Yudi.

Suddenly an idea comes in his mind,

"Hey you know what, actually maine Huda ko bhi bohot der se nahi dekha!",

saying that he purses his lips in order to control his naughty laughter.

Pooja rolls her eyes and walks away. A frown comes on Yudi's face and he mouths - 'what?'

Ignoring her he turns his attention back to Brigadier Chandok and Suriji, smiling.

Dr. Shalini reaches him, smiling, she stands next to him. Yudi smiles too and gets a little conscious at her presence.

Dr. Shalini gestures him that he is looking smart. Yudi blushes. Getting closer to her, he whispers in her ear,

"You too are looking beautiful",

smiles Yudi.

Dr. Shalini blushes in return and looks towards Yudi lovingly. After a short stare they look back towards Suriji.

"To subse pehle Sir cake katenge aur fir... karenge hum balle balle!",

announces Suriji and does a little bhangra.

All along with Brigadier Chandok laugh at this. Brigadier Chandok, bearing a big smile on his face reaches Suriji and takes over the mic.

"Faculty members and my dear cadets aaj tum sub ke saath apna birthday celebrate karte hue mujhey kitna acha mehsus ho raha hai, main bayan nahi kar sakta. Tum sub mera parivar ho. Aur parivar ke saath janamdin manane ka maza hi kuch aur hota hai"

All of them cheer up at this. Captain Rajveer smiles with all his heart, clapping his hands.

"Thank you so much for all the love. God bless all",

smiling, he hands over the mic to Suriji.

Brigadier Chandok walks towards the center table where a three floored, well decorated dark chocolate cake awaits for him. All the people around cheer for him.

While Suriji ignites the candles, Dr. Shalini standing at her place looks around for Captain Rajveer.

Naina happens to enter at that moment. Rajveer's eyes fall on her and his heart skips a beat. Back in her black dress she looks gorgeous.

Dr. Shalini's eyes fall on Captain Rajveer and she creases her brows as she finds him staring someone. Her eyes traces his vision and she finds Naina standing there! But to her utter surprise this discovery doesn't surprise her.

She walks to Captain Rajveer and peeps to check is he still staring? Getting a positive result, she shakes her head.

"Captain, kaisi lag rahi hoon main iss saree mein?",

she asks.

"Gorgeous!",

comes Captain Rajveer immediate reply.

"Aur mere baal? Don't you think mujhey khuley rakhne chahiye the?",

she asks her next question.

"Doc aap bandhey hue baalon mein bhi bohot achi lagti hain",

assures Captain Rajveer.

Rolling her eyes, Dr. Shalini punches Captain Rajveer on his upper arm, out of irritation. She makes sure it doesn't hurt him but only wakes him up from his trance.

"Aao...",

cries Captain Rajveer in pain.

"Dr. Shalini!",

scolds Captain Rajveer.

Folding her hand over her abdominal and plastering a sweet smile on her face; blinking her eyes more than it is necessary, Dr. Shalini in a sugar coated voice asks him,

"Yes Captain?"

Shocked by her question Captain Rajveer asks, massaging the hurt spot,

"Why would you do that?"

Acting to be angry, she scolds him,

"Why would I do that? Apka dhyan mujh par hai hi nahi!"

Her expressions gives the impression of her disappointment on Captain Rajveer's gesture.

"Arey aap par hi to hai!",

lies Captain Rajveer.

"Acha? Mujhey par hai? Apko mere baal khuley hue nazar aa rahe hain aur maine saree pehni hai?",

she asks out of anger.

It is then he notices that Dr. Shalini has tied her hair into a ponytail, and she is wearing a one piece; something which he didn't notice because his focus was on Naina!

Tilting his head to the left; looking at Dr. Shalini lovingly, he apologizes,

"I am sorry doc. Acha okay ab mera pura dhyan apki taraf hai".

"Pakka?",

she confirms.

"Of course!",

assures Captain Rajveer, smiling.

Dr. Shalini narrows her eyes on him, as if she doesn't believe him at this!

"Dekhte hain!",

saying that she looks away, acting as if she is not going to talk to him now.

Captain Rajveer widens his eyes and blushes as he knows that this is all fake anger and he finds Dr. Shalini so adorable. But what she has planned for him, he has no idea about it!

Brigadier Chandok feeds a piece of cake to Suriji when Dr. Shalini with a big smile on her face walks to Brigadier Chandok. Hugging him lovingly she wishes him,

"Happy Birthday Sir!"

"Thank you Dr. Shalini",

smiles Brigadier Chandok.

Leaving him she cuts a piece of cake and feeds him with it. Captain Rajveer follows the suit and feeds Brigadier Chandok a piece of cake, wishing him.

While the exchange takes place, Dr. Shalini takes over the mic from Suriji and announces,

"Attention everyone!"

All of them turn to look towards Dr. Shalini. Whilst all this Rajveer steals glances of Naina, whose full attention is on Dr. Shalini.

(Slow Rajveer-Naina guitar tune begins)

Rajveer blushes and lowers his eyes, smiling.

"....to kyun na ab hum sub dance floor par aye with our respective partners?",

as she announces this, Dr. Shalini's eyes fall on Huda whom she finds looking towards Naina and a frown comes on Dr. Shalini's face.

She quickly makes up her mind and announces,

"Waise I have got an idea!",

smiling excitedly.

Looking at her excitement Captain Rajveer smiles, lowering his eyes, he shakes his head as he understands something is going on in her mind. What, he doesn't understand!

Dr. Shalini whispers something into Suriji's ear, hearing which Suriji widens his eyes out of excitement.

"Bus panch minute dijiye mujhey!",

saying that he leaves.

Dr. Shalini turns towards all, a smile intact on her face.

Standing there Captain Rajveer's heartbeat picks up pace as he fails to come into the conclusion as to what is Dr. Shalini upto.

Soon Suriji returns back holding a glass bowl filled with colourful chits. All the cadets and faculty members become more curious seeing the bowl.

Reaching Dr. Shalini, Suriji orders the orderly to place the table in front of Dr. Shalini. As he does that, Suriji places the glass bowl onto the table.
Smiling, he says to Dr. Shalini,

"Ae lo apka bowl filled with chits tayyar hai!"

"Chits? Par kis liye?",

asks Brigadier Chandok, surprised.

Captain Rajveer finds it intriguing too!

"Main samjhati hun!",

smiling, Dr. Shalini takes the initiative to explain her plan.

"Jaisa ki aap sub dekh rahe hain ke iss bowl mein do (2) colour ke chits hain ek blue and ek pink. Pink is for females and blue is for males.",

smiles Dr. Shalini.

"Inn chits mein aap subka naam likha hai. Main ek bar blue chit nikalungi and aur ek baar pink chit. Jinke names atey rahenge, unka pair banta rahega. Am I clear?",

asks Dr. Shalini, smiling.

All the cadets shout in excitement in unison,

"Yayyyy!!!"

Dr. Shalini widens hers eyes out of scare on their sudden outburst. Shaking her head she smiles, on getting back her composure.

"Okay let's begin with this! Ladies first!"

She brings out a pink chit and reads the name. Then she brings out blue chit and reads the name. This goes on....

"Pooja!",

smiles Dr. Shalini as she reads the next chit.

'Oh please god, Ali hi ho!',

she prays silently.

Nervously she checks the chit and shouts out of excitement,

"Aa...!!!"

She realizes that she is standing in front of almost the whole of the KMA. Clearing her throat, she retrives her composure. Brigadier Chandok looks towards her out of shock as her behavior was totally an unexpected one.

Looking towards Brigadier Chandok, Dr. Shalini apologizes. Looking at this Captain Rajveer shakes his head, lowering his eyes, at her foolishness.

"Ali... Ali...!",

she announces, trying to control her excitement.

Pooja looks towards Ali and quickly shies away. Ali too turns red out of blush and shyness.

She brings out the next pair of chits and announces,

"Anjali and Karan"

She continues with this and announces the names of pairs. Soon she brings out another chit and reads the name, after controlling her excitement,

"Naina!"

Naina gets alert. The name drags Rajveer's attention too. He ends his on going conversation with Lolita Ma'am abruptly and looks towards Dr. Shalini.

Dr. Shalini brings out a chit from among the blue chits, praying silently that it be Captain Rajveer. She opens the chit and her heart sinks!

But nevertheless, taking an in the moment decision, she plasters a smile on her face and announces,

"Captain Rajveer!"

The announcement skips the heartbeat of both - Captain Rajveer and Naina alike.

(Rajveer-Naina flute happy tune begins)

Rajveer and Naina look towards each other. The colours of their faces wiped out, out of shock and shyness. Quickly they lower their eyes out of shyness. None of them bear any hint of smile on their faces, but nevertheless their hearts don't forget to flutter inside their chests!

Dr. Shalini doesn't fail to notice their expressions. Smiling, she keeps the blue chit in her hand and continues with her job of bringing out chits off the bowls and making pairs.

The next chit she brings out skips her heartbeat again.

"O o... Dr. Shalini!",

she shows the chit to all, blushing.

All of them laugh lovingly, enjoying it.

Next she brings out the chit from the other bowl. As soon as she reads the chit she looks towards Rajveer. Smiling nervously, she scans through her eyes as if searching something or someone secretly and soon a satisfactory smile comes on her face and she announces,

"Yudi!"

Yudi smiles gladly on getting paired opposite Dr. Shalini. Dr. Shalini smiles back.

As all turn to look towards Yudi, Dr. Shalini eye the chit in her hand, opening the chit with her one hand, carefully escaping everyone's eyes, she reads the chit again and smiles with all her heart.

Soon all the pairs gets decided -

1. Rajveer-Naina
2. Ali-Pooja
3. Alekh-Neelu
4. Yudi-Dr. Shalini
5. Suriji-Lolita Ma'am
6. Brigadier Chandok-Simran

and all other cadets get paired up respectively, leaving behind Major Nayyer.

"Oh oh Sirji female bowls ki chits to khatam. Lagta hai koi female na apke saath dance hi nahi karna chahti!",

announces Suriji in the mic. And why won't he? How can he miss such an amazing opportunity of teasing Major Nayyer?

While all laugh taking it as a healthy joke, Captain Rajveer laughs silently, lowering his eyes, shaking his head, knowing how Suriji never misses any opportunity to tease Major Nayyer. This is one of those golden opportunities!

On the other hand Major Nayyer glares Suriji, as he feels humiliated. Suriji quickly looks away out of nervousness.

And as Major Nayyer accepts that he has to dance alone, he hears a voice announcing,

"I am sorry guys for reaching late but mujhey bhi abhi tak mera partner nahi mila!"

All turn to locate the bearer of the voice. Captain Rajveer and Naina turn too and find a lady having a good height and a good posture and figure standing in front of them.

Captain Rajveer stares her from head to toe as somehow he doesn't get good vibes from her.

"Oh I am sure aap mein se kisi ne mujhey pehchana nahi hoga except Brigadier Chandok of course",

says she, looking towards Brigadier Chandok as she ends up saying this.

Brigadier Chandok stares her with no hint of pleasure of seeing her on his face. Captain Rajveer who has turned to look towards Brigadier Chandok doesn't fail to notice the expressions of displeasure on the face of Brigadier Chandok on seeing the lady.

"Let me introduce myself to you all!",

smiles the lady in black shirt paired up with black trousers. Her hair tied up neatly into a pony tail. All of which give her a strict look.

"I am Captain Salve. Captain Shivangi Salve. Main yahan Brigadier Chandok se milne ayi thi. But here it seems ke kisi baat ka jashn manaya ja raha hai",

says Captain Salve.

"Aaj Sirji ka birthday hai",

comes Huda's reply, beaming with happiness on seeing Captain Salve as he finds her very attractive.

"Oh, interesting",

replies Captain Salve, turning to look towards Huda, with no hint of surprise or pleasure on her face.

"Then I guess our this meeting can wait. Enjoy guys",

giving a curt reply she looks towards all but her eyes stops at Captain Rajveer who happens to stare her suspiciously.

Turning, she was about to leave that suddenly she indicates her index finger of her right hand, up in the air and says,

"And...",

turning she looks towards Brigadier Chandok.

Brigadier Chandok glares her while Captain Rajveer continues staring her suspeciously, noticing her each reaction.

"Happy Birthday Sir!",

she wishes Brigadier Chandok, at last.

"Thank you!",

replies Brigadier Chandok in the same curt voice as he received her wish.

"Captain Salve agar aap chahti hain to aap bhi iss party mein ruk sakti hain",

says Brigadier Chandok out of politeness.

"It's okay Sir. You guys can enjoy. I'll wait at your cabin",

replies Captain Salve.

"Please I insist!",

says Brigadier Chandok, melting just a little.

Smiling, she replies,

"Well if you say so!"

Smiling, Dr. Shalini, tries to clear the air of tension and suggests,

"Well Brigadier if that's fine so can we pair up Major Nayyer and Captain Salve together?"

All look impressed by Dr. Shalini's suggestion. Especially Yudi, a smile comes on his face, feeling proud of her.

Captain Rajveer smirks secretly at Dr. Shalini's idea.

A smile comes on Major Nayyer's face at last and he adjusts his coat, still maintaining the air of superiority around himself.

Huda doesn't fail to notice it and the fact that he would snatch away such a beautiful woman from Huda, makes Huda feel jealous.

"Excuse me Ma'am!",

says Huda.

(Huda's tune begins)

"Yes Cadet",

says Dr. Shalini, knowing that something of 'not applicable' category must be going on in his mind.

"Ma'am main soch raha tha ke Sir ne to ab tak na jane kitne aise parties enjoy kiye honge. Humein bhi mauka milna chahiye enjoy karne ka?",

says Huda, giving his flirtatious smile.

Naina rolls her eyes, thinking he would never stop flirting.

Captain Rajveer laughs too silently for the same reason.

Ali, Pooja, Yudi, Alekh, Neelu, all of them follow the suit.

Sensing what might come next, seeing an angry Major Nayyer, Captain Rajveer comes at Huda's rescue.

"I have a solution. Baat dance karne ki hai na? So you can take turns. Ek baar Huda dance kar lega Captain Salve ke saath; ek baar Major Nayyer!",

suggests Captain Rajveer, trying to hide his amusement.

"That's only if Captain Salve doesn't have any problem with this",

adds Captain Rajveer, turning his attention towards Captain Salve, smiling.

"Absolutely not Captain",

comes Captain Salve's curt reply and she stares Captain Rajveer more than what is necessary.

Naina who notices this, looks away as an anger surges through her.

Captain Rajveer stares back Captain Salve with that sarcastic smile intact on his face.

Bowing her head, smiling sarcastically, Captain Salve says, her eyes towards the ground,

"Par meri ek shart hai!",

and she looks back towards Captain Rajveer, maintaining the smile on her face.

Captain Rajveer knits his brows a little. His smile fades a little too. He waits for her to continue.

Inside Naina's jealousy ignites a little more as she feels Captain Salve is just buying time to continue talking to Captain Rajveer. She looks away and exhales out of frustration.

"Shart?",

asks Captain Rajveer, knitting his brows, smiling, a smile that doesn't reach his eyes.

"Pehle 'apko' mere saath dance karna hoga!",

comes her proposal to Rajveer.

This comes as a total surprise for Captain Rajveer. The smile fades off his face completely as his heart skips a beat on hearing her proposal. Nervously he looks towards Naina who looks back towards him then lowers her eyes.

"Kya hua Captain? Any problem?",

asks Captain Salve.

Turning to look towards Captain Salve, still in a state of shock, Captain Rajveer replies,

"No... no problem!",

and plasters a fake smile on his face.

Then he looks towards Huda, then again towards Naina.

"Shall we?",

Captain Salve forwards her hand and it drags Captain Rajveer's attention.

"Ahmm... sure...",

he says hesitantly, unable to decline the proposal in front of all.

Jealousy in Naina reaches it's peak. Her mind unwillingly goes to the time they spent together in the games room, moments ago.

All the moments which brought smile on her face moments ago, irk her now!

Rajveer and Naina both hate the dj at this moment for choosing such a track for Captain Rajveer and Captain Salve to dance upon.

But having no other choice, Captain Rajveer begins dancing with Captain Salve with no pleasure what so ever but a fake smile intact on his face.

Each time he turns such that he is facing Naina, his smile fades. He notices how hard she is trying to refrain herself from looking towards them.

As the dance ends Captain Rajveer and Captain Salve give each other formal smiles whilst getting applauded by all.

"Aur ab dance karenge Captain Salve aur Muchhad....",

announces Suriji.

As soon as he announces he realizes he has addressed Major Nayyer as 'Muchhad' out of habit. All the cadets along with Captain Rajveer and Dr. Shalini laughs, pursing their lips. Brigadier Chandok glares Suriji, but Suriji ignores to look towards him out of fear.

"Mera matlab hai Major Nayyer!",

he rectifies quickly.

Meanwhile Captain Rajveer walks away and join the crowd. He was about to walk to Dr. Shalini when he hears Alekh whispering to Dr. Shalini,

"Boley to... apne jaan bujh kar Rajveer Sir aur Naina ka naam ek saath liya na?"

Alekh's question drags Rajveer's full attention. He knits his brows. He looks towards Dr. Shalini and waits for her reply.

Dr. Shalini, oblivious to Captain Rajveer's presence around her and his eavesdropping, admits blushing,

"Shh... dheere bolo Cadet Alekh, agar unn dono mein se kisi ne sunn liya na...",

then she gestures him with her eyes - how difficult it would be to deal with them then.

On the other hand Captain Salve and Major Nayyer position themselves to dance. But they fall prey to lack of coordination. Captain Salve begins by taking her step towards her left while Major Nayyer goes opposite, hence Captain Salve gets pulled by Major Nayyer unintentionally. Captain Salve with her alertness prevents herself from falling.

Captain Rajveer on hearing Dr. Shalini's reply, shakes his head in disbelief, all serious. Unable to control his anger, he walks towards Dr. Shalini and Alekh.

"I cannot believe this Dr. Shalini!",

scolds Captain Rajveer.

His sudden voice skips the heartbeats of both Alekh and Dr. Shalini. They turn to look towards Captain Rajveer, nervously.

"Aap... apne jaan bujh kar?",

scolds Captain Rajveer, looking towards Dr. Shalini.

Alekh finds Dr. Shalini nervous and guilty in front of Captain Rajveer, her head bowed down.
Unable to bear seeing her this way, Alekh comes to her rescue,

"Sir boley to iss mein Dr. Shalini ki koi galti nahi hai!"

An angry and pissed off Captain Rajveer turns to address Cadet Alekh. Pointing an index finger towards him, Captain Rajveer scolds Alekh,

"Don't you dare say me that! Dr. Shalini ki koi galti nahi hai...",

he repeats Alekh's words in the end.

"Kya tum dono ne socha hai ke Naina ko ye baat pata chali to wo kya kahegi?",

he scolds them.

"Especially tumhe!",

he points towards Alekh.

"Usse batayega kon?",

smirks Alekh.

Dr. Shalini smiles too, nervously.

"Kon batayega? Main bataunga!",

says Captain Rajveer raising his voice a little.

Dr. Shalini smirks at that! Alekh laughs nervously too!

Captain Rajveer looks towards them chance by chance and asks out of confusion,

"What? Tum log hans kyun rahe ho?"

Smirking, Dr. Shalini asks him,

"Captain, to apka matlab hai ke aap Naina se ye kahenge ke maine rules ke khilaf jakar aap dono ko ek saath dance karne ke liye majboor kiya?"

"Ji haan Dr. Shalini, main bilkul aisa hi karne wala hun!",

says Captain Rajveer, smiling sarcastically.

Smirking again, Dr. Shalini asks him,

"Aur apko lagta hai ke wo apki baat maan jayegi?",

asking that she arches a brow.

"Naina mujh par pura bharosa karti hai!",

replies Captain Rajveer, feeling proud about this fact.

And as she hears what she wanted to hear, Dr. Shalini returns back to her normal self and getting excited she grabs the opportunity and makes the best use of it,

"Wohi to Captain! Naina aap par pura bharosa karti hai. To apke siwaye kisi aur par bharosa karna, you know ek ladki ke saath koi ladka dance karey to... kuch bhi ho sakta hai! Understand Captain!"

A broad smile stretches on Alekh's face as he finds Dr. Shalini's answer very convincing especially in Captain Rajveer's case. Alekh knows he would let nothing to happen to Naina's pride! He smiles as he finds Dr. Shalini's answer very apt!

"Haan ye to hai!",

says Alekh, looking towards Dr. Shalini, acting to be very seriously considering Dr. Shalini's words, in front of Captain Rajveer.

Simultaneously he eyes Captain Rajveer to gauge his reaction to Dr. Shalini's words. He does find the satisfactory expression but he feels he needs to push him little more, after all he is Captain Rajveer Singh Shekhawat, when has anything been that easy when it comes to him?

"Main uska dost aur bhai hotey hue aisa kabhi na hone dun!",

says Alekh, trying to provoke Captain Rajveer.

"Aur main kya Huda, bhi uska dost aur bha...",

Alekh stops abruptly and then looks towards Rajveer through his peripheral vision.

Rajveer had already turned towards him as he heard him saying this line. He arches his brow out of surprise as he anticipates what Alekh was about to say!

"Mera matlab dost hote hue aisa kabhi na hone de!",

rectifies Alekh, smiling apologetically. He somehow understands that mentioning Huda would fuel Captain Rajveer's feelings and possessiveness towards Naina.

And that's exactly what happens!

Glaring Alekh for the blooper, Rajveer gets back to the current situation in hand and thinks about it.

Dr. Shalini controls her fit of laughter and says,

"Aur Captain aap to jante hi hain ke Naina kaisi hai. Agar apne ye baat usse bol di, wo itna embarrass feel karegi ke wo apke saath dance karne se hi mana kar degi. Fir exactly yahi sub hoga jo humne kaha!",

and she gives him an expression of sorrow and helplessness.

Reconsidering the situation Captain Rajveer tells them,

"Theek hai Dr. Shalini main Naina se kuch nahi kahunga".

Then he points his index finger towards Dr. Shalini and says,

"Par aap ye mat sochna ke maine iss baat ke liye apko maaf kar diya hai!"

Dr. Shalini gets scared on his sudden pointing his finger towards her.

"Ahmm.... ok... ok... Captain!",

says Dr. Shalini, nervously.

Alekh laughs secretly, witnessing this exchange between two of his favourite teachers. Giving them a last look he leaves.

As he leaves Dr. Shalini sighs in relief.

"Aap theek hain?",

asks Alekh, as Captain Rajveer leaves, controlling his fit of laughter.

"Haan... haan mujhey kya hua hai!",

says Dr. Shalini, trying to gain back her composure.

Alekh shakes his head, smiling, looking towards Dr. Shalini.
