It was the 31st of December and two very excited boys were jumping around at 4am for no bloody well reason besides their birthday but come on they didn't have to jump on Errikos' bed waking the man up with pain in his stomach

"Ow" he was in the fetal position and glared up to the boys who were laughing

"I love you boys completely but not when you wake me up at..." check the time with his wand "...at 4am go back to bed you won't be able to have your presents until after breakfast and last time I remembered it isn't until 8am either"

"Papa come on time to get up it's our birthday's!!" they bounced on the bed again laughing Tit and Tat brought in hot chocolate for the three of them

"You really starting to give them a sugar boost this early in the morning?" the two elves just smiled before they left to get breakfast ready

"What's this?" asked Len not ever having hot chocolate before

"Well Len it's hot chocolate it's a drink made from hot milk and chocolate powder go ahead and try it it's sweet"

"I don't like sweet things"

"I know but you don't but you might like this plus it will warm you right up as neither of you have your dressing gowns or slippers on" helps them into his bed and hands them both their hot chocolate "there nice and warm now"

He watched his son's enjoy their sweet sugary drink which both of them loved, they stayed in the bed until 6 when Errikos told them to go and wash up and to put on something comfortable as they were most likely be playing most of the day

The two of them ran off laughing and got ready

"I love them that's all that matters" and he got up and got ready

The boys ran in again dressed the same but different colours

"Don't you get bored dressing the same all the time?"

"Nope" said both boys taking holding his hands and started to drag him off for breakfast

"I want pancakes!" said Len as they were his favourite at the moment

"I want eggy bread!" said Kam again it was his favourite at the moment

"I know Tit and Tat will have it ready for the pair of you, I just want my coffee" said Errikos as he yawned

They sat down and in front of them was their favourites they giggled again so far today had been such a good day for them even if they had gotten their father up early

Soon the other children were over and the twins were amazed at them all it wasn't all of them mind you but most of them were there

The only ones that that weren't there were Matilda Burke, Kai Flint and Alisa Travers as they had other commitments

The children ran off to play including little Regulus who toddled around as he was the youngest out of the children

Errikos had set up the sun room for the children to play in and hold the party for the boys everything was set up, there was a long table each with a spot with little name tags on that he had write the names and the boys had drawn pictures of their friends so then they could see where they sat, they had picked out the theme which was the Hogwarts houses but had more snakes and potions in it the colours were just random to be honest but it was their birthday so Errikos let them have it

The parents watched as the children played a number of games the laughing and the loud noises didn't please most parents but when they saw how happy their children were they relented somewhat

Abraxas came over "Lord Peverell thank you for inviting us to your Yule celebrations and now your son's birthday you didn't have you"

"Lord Malfoy listen to me I didn't do it for me or you I did it so them my children can make friends and connections with the families that are important as well as people outside of it I have had contact with Lord Potter of all things and Fleamont Potter would like his son to meet mine but I am leaving that until the new year my boys have met these children and they were invited whereas Heir Potter has only just heard of them I think it was a certain Headmaster had gotten involved"

"Yes I have a feeling that has happened I got a note from someone saying that my little Amalia would turn out dark if I let her come" said Cereus coming over

"I was told to bring my niece Molly as well by Albus, the bloody old man is annoying as they come but as she wasn't invited to the Yule celebrations unlike her brothers who are Heirs of the family I didn't think it was right to bring her without permission" said Muriel sighing

Some of the children ran passed laughing up a storm dragging party streamers behind them as well as some tinsel

"This is how a children's birthday party should be a healthy dose of chaos" said Errikos to the parents but they weren't so sure

"I am sorry but I have seem to have upset many of you about how I let my children act and how you let your children act, I think as all children need time to unwind and just be themselves after all most of them are only 5 years old, Sirius has just turned 6 and Regulus is the youngest at 4 years old, the children have lessons and you let them play after wards which does help but they need time to just completely be themselves"

Many nodded at this as they had started to notice that having more and more playdates with their friends had been helping them calm down when starting their lessons and that was after Yule celebrations

"Father father hide me hide me Bas is it!" said Rodolphus as he hid behind his father

"What am I meant to do?!" asked Rayden to Errikos who was laughing

"Just stand still and wait" which he did and watched as thr children hid and Rabastan came running out looking for his friends he found everyone besides his brother and the birthday boys

"What type of game is this?! it's so silly!" said Bartemius Sr

"It's a game called Hide and Seek, you have one that counts while the others hides, the count from say 30 and then once the countdown is finished they look for the others whoever is the last one to be found is the winner, it's quite a simple game"

Soon the game was over and Kam was the winner, cake was called and the children all day down and Tat clicked her fingers and each child had a slice of cake

The twins of Fabian and Gideon decided to smash their cakes in each others faces and laughed like mad making the others laugh Muriel wasn't happy and started to scold them

"Lady Prewett it's only cake it's nothing harmful and it's easy enough to be cleaned up, look at Regulus he's making a mess and he's only 4 but nothing bad has happened a quick charm and they are clean"

"But they aren't acting like Heirs of the Prewett household!" she didn't understand

"And I don't mind honest it's children being children"

"Amycus! Alecto! we don't hit!" said Clementina Remus was crying as he was accidently hit

Tat came and said "it was accident they were playing" puts a cold compress on Remus' check

"He'll be fine nothing hurt and it was an accident" said Luna who had been sitting near by and had seen everything they were sitting between Remus and had reached for something at the same time and accidentally hit him

"Mama I ok" said Remus shyly smiling at them

"I can see that Remmy" she smiled

The party was soon over and everyone had gone home the elves had cleaned everything up and the twins were asleep on the sofa curled up around a plushie each
