Errikos was busy and I mean busy he had no idea why he had decided to host Yule at hos place but still everyone had seen him and excepted to be asked to join in the Yule celebrations at his manor as well as the Minister and if course Dumbledore was also going to be there he inwardly screamed at this all, plus he had to plan the twins birthday as well on new Year's Eve things couldn't get any worse than this

The twins had helped decorate the log in everything that was needed as well as the tree under it all were presents for them but they wondered why there were so many and had asked

"Well boys we are going to have many people to celebrate with us for Yule and they are coming with their children as well and each child will get one present from us in welcoming hence why there are so many but you will have more to open Christmas day you'll be allowed to open one with the children and then Christmas day the rest you'll be allowed to open"

The two sighed they didn't want to share this but their papa had said that was going to be done plus they did have their birthday only six days later so...

"Why does Dumbletwat have to come I did not send an invite to him I know for that much" he wasn't happy that he was piggy backing on the Minister's invite which most definitely said no plus one so how...

He looked at the letter sitting in front of him

I am so very pleased to accept the invitation to your Yule Ball celebration, I can not wait I will be arriving with Minister Nobby Leach you do know him right?

You after all have been out of touch now for many years and now you only just appear and with two little boys tut tut I'm ashamed of you what would dear Bella think of you after she sadly lost her life in such a terrible way, I'm so ashamed to have known her if you cast her out like that for two children who aren't even yours

Other than that I do look forward to it, I must know how you have been and have you thought about joining me at Hogwarts as a professor?

Errikos had felt the compulsions try and take hold but he just laughed the damn old coot was again trying to rule his life but little did he know was that the Peverell line was immune to potions, spells and compulsions to say the least it was after they met Death and he had chosen his Master that was

"Damn blast old man!" he set the parchment on fire and laughed his sons were outside the door

"Papa?"

"Boys come on in papa needs hugs because a silly old man is coming to our celebration when he's not allowed"

They ran in and hugged him wanting to know who had upset their papa so much but he did say

Soon the Yule Ball celebration was upon them Errikos had made sure that they all matched with the colours he wanted to show them that his family was above and beyond what the Pure bloods thought

"Papa it's too stiff" complained Kam to him

"I know son but it's only for tonight ok and then tomorrow you can wear what you want, so very important people are coming tonight so we have to look out best ok" he finished helping and kissed his forehead he then went onto Len and bushed his hair

"You'll need a hair cut soon"

"I like it like this papa"

"Ok but if it gets into your eyes you'll have to have it cut" his son just nodded

"What about your hair papa it's so crazy"

"Well boys it's just how my hair is sadly it never sits neatly, come on we have to welcome people" he sighed and took their hands and headed downstairs

It took an hour for them to welcome everyone and when Dumbles turned up he had hoped that the compulsions had worked but when Errikos ignored him fully the man wasn't happy and so he took it upon himself to follow the Lord around

Errikos made small talk introducing his sons to the other Lords and Ladies as well as thr Minister himself each one finding the boys adorable and the women cooed when Kam hid behind Errikos

He loved that Neville had come with Luna and was even more of a shocker was that Remus was their adopted son he looked much better and so adorable, he knew his sons would love this little boy even if they were 9 months younger than he was

"I'm surprised you're together and you have Remus as well"

"Yes he was in need of a good family home which we can give him, we've adopted him and now he is Remus John Neville Longbottom but he still is a werewolf even if we've blood adopted him" explained Neville to Errikos

Dumbles had had enough but before he could get a word in dinner was called

They had a mix of chicken and dumplings, coq au van, cranberry hazelnut turkey wellington, herb crusted roast beef, mushroom wellington, new England lamb and old fashioned honey glazed ham, roasted goose for the meat

A mix of soups which included Winter solstice soup, parsnip soup with pears, Swedish meatball soup and wintertime braised beef stew

Salads were citrus endive salad, Roquefort pear salad and winter persimmon and pomegranate salad

There was a handful of bread ham and cheese, holiday rum eggnog, pecan maple loaf and at Lucia saffron bread

The vegetables were again a mixed selection of farro risotto with walnut cream a d roasted butternut squash, glazed parsley carrots, marconi cheese, potato and parsnip gratin, spicy broccoli rabe with parmesan and pine nuts and seared radicchio and roasted beets

And that was the main everyone was surprised by how much there was and even more surprised was that Errikos was allowing the children to join them at the table instead of letting them stay at a children's table in another room

"I do not believe that separating the children into a different room will do any good, my boys are well behaved as well as all of yours from what I can see, I like to get to know the faces that I will come to see as friends besides a few that have come along without invitation"

Everyone gasped at it all wondering who it could be but Errikos said nothing to them and changed the subject

"Now my boys have seemed to have made friends with the children just like I had wanted to happen and I extend an invite to each child to their 5th birthday in six days"

The boys smiled at them "please can they come" they had somehow perfected the puppy eyes in just two months

The children turned to their parents and asked

"Father please can me and Bas go to their party?" asked little Rodolphus to his father Rayden Lestrange

"Daddy can I go as well?" asked little Amalia blushing to her father Cereus Greengrass

"Auntie Muriel can we go as well?" asked a set of red headed twins Fabian and Gideon Prewett

"Grandad us as well" said Sirius to his grandfather Arcturus completely ignoring his father Orion next to him

Soon all they children were asking politely to their parents if they could go and each one agreed to it

Errikos looked up and smiled to the Lord's and Ladies around him happy that his children will grow up with many friends he saw Dumbles talking to Nobby Leach who nodded with whatever was being said to him

They set the Yule Log on fire inside as it was heavily snowing outside and no parent want their child I'll as the children played and the adults talked Dumbles and Leach came over to Errikos who was sipping his mulled wine

"Ah my dear boy please let me introduce myself and my companion here" said Dumbles to him making the Lord laugh at him

"No need to introduce yourself Professor Dumbledore I know who you both are, Minister Leach it is a pleasure to meet you I am surprised that no offence here that a Muggleborn such as yourself is our Minster of Magic I understand that some of the oldest members of the Wizengamort resigned their posts due to this in a protest if this, shocking if you ask me" he shook his hand

"None taken Lord Peverell I was just as shocked as you are I didn't think I would get this far in Politics if you ask me I have only been in the position for now three years but I think I have done somewhat ok"

Dumbles just glared at Errikos for not including him in the conversation as they chatted Politics

"Errikos my boy have you thought about what I asked you regarding teaching at Hogwarts?" asked Dumbles as he tried to start a conversation with him

"Why Headmaster why would I do that? it seems that you want something from me but I do not know what I have that you want" he sipped his wine and waited

"My boy..."

"Professor I am not your boy for one I have only met you for a second time as of today you wanted to meet me at Hogwarts just after I adopted my son's amd you wanted me to work at Hogwarts but I have my own responsibilities which you dear sir have no say in like you piggy backing onto our very own Minister's invitation as I know I did not invite you here"

Everyone gasped at this as they all thought he had been invited

"No see here my dear boy I'm only trying to help you navigate the world that you have come to know after being a recluse for years...."

"Yes my dear Thalia died in child birth which resulted in me losing my child a son mind you, as well why else would you think that I would do that I was grieving for my lose like anyone else would, it was pure luck that I help orphanages like where my sons come from they are from pure blood families as it would shock you, they are the last heirs to the Slytherin lines after me of course as I am Lord Peverell-Ravenclaw-Gryffindor-Hufflepuff-Slytherin, as well as the Prince line, they are related to the Yaxley line as well so I would expect you to keep out of businesses you do not belong in, now Professor leave you tire me I will have Tit and Tat escort you, goodbye" he just walked away as Dumbles disappeared

Everyone again was shocked the the display of disrespect that Dumbles had given Errikos he was Lord of the Most Ancient, Most Royal and Most Noble family of Peverell people were going to be talking about this as they knew some very gossipee people and some were in this very room
