After training everyone headed to the forest in the middle of nowhere cause that's where we are meeting them apparently.

Knight stood by me with a protective look on his face as he stared straight like he was testing someone to come near me and hurt me.

He may not look much but trust me you would rather have him as a friend than an enemy because over the years he had a lot of training, and his bite is worse than anyone else's believe me.

I just want to keep my best friend safe after all he is all I have left of Nala she was his savior and what I mean is she saved him from being shot by a wolf hunter or something I don't remember what it exactly was, but the thing is he misses her as much as I do.

After a while waiting in position for the shadow clan to show up and right when we thought they chickened out they showed up along with the guys who killed Nala and I thought to myself that I should be the one to end their misery for killing my mother well adoptive but still.

Dad nodded at me as saying he knew what I was thinking, and Lupin came to stand next to me.

"What are you doing you'll get hurt" I said. "I'll be okay besides we're sisters and did you forget I'm a complex too she said.

"No, it's just before I could finish my sentence she interrupted.

"Let me help you please dad and Micro believes if we work together, we can stop them once and for all they won't be coming after us anymore and it's what Nala would have wanted" she said.

"We don't even know if it would work" I told her. "There's only one way to find out" she said.

I looked at her with a long sigh and said "fine but don't do anything stupid I told her.

She looked at me and slowly nodded as she was saying she understood. Then with that the battle has begun.

Everyone was already in their wolf forms and even though I been at war before I still can't stand the looks of it. It seems like this war is messier than the last one.

Blood was dripping from their fat and there was bite marks where you could barely see them and I think I head a faint yelp.

I saw we were losing pack members so Lupin and I looked at each other gave a smile before joining hands as our eyes changed yellowish and then we turned into our wolf forms to finish this battle because nothing and no one is stronger than a complex and dad would probably yell at me for trying to get myself killed when he supposedly has it under control but believe me he needs all the help he can get.

The war was finally over, and we won the battle. The guys who killed Nala were dead and their leader as well.

We lost about 15 pack members, but the shadow clan lost between 20 to 30 which means our pack was stronger and more prepared but what I saw next destroyed me.

I raced over to Lupin after putting on backup clothes.

I looked at her red puffy eyes and her smeared up makeup before looking at the dead body in front of me and I could not believe my eyes before I knew it, I was bawling my eyes out.

I couldn't believe it and I don't think Lupin could either. How could she she just lost the only dad she ever had and my adoptive dad.

Victor is dead cause he was fighting the war to protect is people and me.

"Hey, calm down" Lupin told me. "He's dead he died because of me" I said.

"That's not true he's dead because he cared more about his family and the pack than himself, he wanted to protect us even though he knew he could end up dying but now he's up there with Nala watching over us everything will be okay I promise" she said as I laid my head on her shoulder.

"I just can't believe he's gone first Nala and now him" I told her.

"I know but they died protecting us like they said they would, and they helped end the war both wars" she told me.

"Looks like we need to plan another funeral" I told her. 

She sighed before laying her head on mine and said, "yeah I know".

Micro saw us and walked toward us before noticing Victor's dead body in front of us and he looked like he was about to storm off and kill someone, but he remained calm and said Madi, Lupin come on let's go to the pack house Lupin can stay the night.

We nodded and got up to walk back to the pack house.
