Clover's POV

A lot has happened in the last seventeen years. The pack has grown a lot. We're now fourteen adults strong. With four pups. The alpha died during the last winter. So now mama wolf and her mate are at the alpha pair. It's them who have four pups. Gary, Orca, Skye and Petal. They were born at the end of winter, seven weeks ago.

Albus hasn't visited yet. But I heard him howl last night and know he's close. So I decided to sneak away to see him. Besides I'm nearly eighteen, I can take care of myself. I race to the edge of our border.  Which would soon over lap with the Blue Moon Pack once I became an adult. We're trying to make a treaty with them, but so far we haven't found common ground.

I sit down on a log waiting. When I hear a twig snap and turn to see Gary. 'What are you doing here?' I ask him.

'I followed you!' he yips happily.

'You are to young to be this far away from the den' I tell him.

'Please do not send me back' he pleads giving me his puppy dog eyes.

'Fine, but you do as I say' I tell him. He nods his head. I lay down and wait for Albus. Gary soon gets bored and starts to chase a beetle. I watch him and soon notice him cross the border. 'Gary get back here!' I bark as I get to my feet. But he was to focused on the beetle to hear me. I curse and take off after him.

'Gary stop!' I shout. 'I said stop!' I snap and he stops suddenly. I wasn't expecting it and run into him. we both yelp as we roll down a hill. I curl around him to protect him. We soon come to a stop. 'Are you ok?' I ask him as I stand up shaking the dirt from my fur.

'Yes, sorry sister' he says sheepishly. 'Where are we?' he asks me. I look around and don't smell anything familiar.

'We are not home' I tell him.

'You got that right' someone growls. I stiffen and stand over Gary protectively. I notice a dark brown wolf with amber eyes. 'What are you doing here rogue?' he demands.

'None of your business' I tell him. 'Besides we were just leaving' I state.

'No you are not, rogues who trespass are taken to the alpha to face trial' he tells me.

'Well we are not rogues and this is a miss understanding' I tell him.

'Even so, I shall need your names' he tells me.

'It is rude to ask for someones name without giving your own' Gary tells him.

'Quiet' I tell him.

'The name is Loki, I am the alpha's son' the wolf states.

'Well we are alpha children too and we are leaving' I tell him. He goes to protest when we hear a howl. We look up to see Albus. 'Albus!' I cheer.

'You are both in trouble, come along now Clover' he tells me.

'Yes sir' I say and pick up Gary. I pass Loki and approach Albus.

'Sorry for any trouble they cause' he tells Loki.

'It is fine pure one' Loki tells him. I place Gary down. 'Just keep them off of my packs land' he tells him.

'It was an accident' I tell him annoyed. Locking my green eyes with his amber ones. He looks at me shocked. I turned my back on him and headed home. 'Come along little brother' I tell Gary and he follows me. Albus follows us.

'So what happened?' Albus asks me.

'I was waiting for you at the border and Gary appeared. Speaking of, Albus meet my little brother Gary. Gary this is Albus, he's a pure one' I state.

'An honour sir' Gary says.

'A pleasure' Albus says.

'Anyway, Gary started to play with a beetle and ran off of the territory. I ran after him yelling at him to stop. He stopped suddenly and I ran into him. We rolled down the hill and ended up there' I explain.

'Will you were on Blue Moon territory, it's lucky I came when I did. You nearly got into serious trouble' he tells me.

'It was my fault' Gary tells him.

'Do not worry, we will keep this between us' Albus assures us as we arrive back at our territory. We're meet by the border patrol. Rico, Argo and Lou.

'Gary your mother is worried sick about you' Lou tells him.

'I did not mean to worry anyone' Gary says hanging his head.

'I will get them back to the den' Albus tells them.

'Thanks pure one, see you later' Rico says. Before they left to continue patrol. Albus leads us to the den.

(Blue Moon Pack) Loki's POV

I can't believe I just saw my mate. She was beautiful. But why did she leave? Didn't she feel the connection? I returned home. To find my mother in the office on the phone. I'm back in human form. "Look, I understand your territory will be expanding in a couple of months. But we need to settle this treaty before then" she tells someone on the phone.

"Your little boy is missing? And your daughter? I'm so sorry, if we see them. We'll let you know" she tells the person. They say goodbye and hang up.

"Who was that?" I ask her curious.

"The Alpha of the Rogue Moon pack, I was trying to solidify the treaty with them. But their old alpha died during winter. So now we have to make a new treaty" she tells me. "But his adoptive daughter and youngest son went missing" she states.

"I think I just saw them. A little grey wolf, a fawn coloured she wolf with green eyes?" I ask.

"That's them" she tells me smiling.

"They just left with a pure one" I tell her.

"That's good, hopefully he'll be up for talking about the treaty tomorrow" she says.

"So his adoptive daughter, how old is she?" I ask her.

"Seventeen, turning eighteen in six and half weeks. We're invited to her party once we solidify the treaty" she tells me.

"So that's why she didn't feel it" I mutter.

"Feel what dear?" she asks me as I looks at the papers on her desk.

"The bond, I looked into her eyes before she left and she's my mate" I tell her.

"Oh that's spindled, that would solidify the treaty and I'd finally get grand-pups" she says happily. "But the alpha won't take our word for it. We'll have to try solidify the treaty before her birthday. Then we can renegotiate once she discovers you're mates" she states.

"Sounds fair to me" I tell her. "How about  I go as a representative? That way I can get to know my mate more and make the treaty at the same time" I suggest.

"I'll ask their alpha tomorrow, for now leave it with me" she tells me. I nod my head and left the room. I go to my room and lay on my bed thinking about my mate. Wondering what she looks like in human form.
