For the past few days everything got better with Mia. She began to show more emotion and opened up more as well, when she arrives she would greet everyone with a smile and they would return it, and it wasn't long before she showed bits of her personality. She would help with the chores, something surprising for her age but admirable, she just do the little things such as folding and arranging. 

They'd also found out she had a shark like hunger. One time during dinner Mia was exceptionally hungry, Ana noticed this and told she can pick first, she smiled gratefully and took large amounts on her plate.

"Whoa there Pumpkin. You sure you can finish that?" Jesse asked, stunned at her plate like everyone else is. Mia nodded... and ate her food with amazing speed. They all sat there in shock watching the little girl devouring her food in seconds, when she was done she simply got off the table and went to her room, leaving everyone to process on what just happened. After a moment of silence, Junkrat spoke.

"Well I'll be... That little sheila's got the appetite of Great white shark!" everyone agreed on that.

Not to mention they also found out she was very intelligent despite her age. D.va found out the hard way when she pranked her by putting a whoopee cushion on her seat. The little girl flushed red while Hana laughed until her sides ache, naturally Soldier 76 made her apologize since she was still 4 and should be ashamed of herself. D.va assured it was a harmless prank and said sorry to her, But Mia had other ideas.

D.va woke up feeling great, she stretched and threw her feet to the floor. As soon as she did D.va screamed so loud that she woke up the entire base, they all rushed to bedroom, weapons ready, and burst right in to help her.

But what they saw was not what they expected.

Instead they saw so many legos scattered every inch of her room and in the floor D.va trying in vain to get up but ending up in more pain.  Zenyatta found a note on her bed side and floated towards it. After finishing reading it he handed it to 76 while Genji tried to help the Gamer. Jack quickly read it's contents.

"Well what does it say?" he heard Ana asked. He gave it to her. As soon as she did, she nodded in understanding and handed it to everyone else who seemed to be curious about it.

"That child is smarted than she looks" she stated. Nobody knew how did Mia got the legos or how she managed to do it alone. Needless to say Mia got grounded for five days, but at least she made one thing clear to them, mess with her and she can do worse.

Back to the present. Mia was with Lucio in his room, listening to his new album. She was gently bobbing her head to the music and the disc jockey smiled at this, even little kids loved his music. 

"So.. Did you like it?" asking when it was done. The little girl smiled and nodded, Lucio sighed but smiled. Though opening up, she still refuses to talk. They weren't sure why but just like last time Mercy said give her time and she'll come right around. 

There was a knock on the door. "Come in!" Ana came in and announced it was dinner. Lucio closed his laptop and picked up the fiery haired girl and went out.

Tonight's dinner was Greek, in courtesy for Mia to not forget her heritage. Some of them complained it looked or smelled weird, but they were forced to suck it up when Jack told  them it was part of Mia.

Greek salad,  Spanakopita with cubed feta, Fasolada, Psarosoupa, Fasolakia, Gigandes plaki, Giouvetsi, Gyros, Moussaka, and for dessert chocolate Baklava. Though a little weird, they still thought it tasted good.

Though happily eating, Mia was having bittersweet memories. The food reminded her of the good memories she and her family ate, how they laugh and tell stories to each other. Oh how she missed that. But these people were now her new family, something she was grateful of, but sometimes she wondered, if her real family was still alive,would she still get to meet them?

"Mia" she heard her adopted Oma called to her. Mia turned to the direction of the voice, found the old woman looking at her intently.

"Do you like the food" Mia nodded eagerly and shoved more into her mouth. Ana chuckled at this.

"So Mia" Torbjorn began. "Do you like it here?" She nodded.

"That's wonderful to hear Liebling!" Mercy cried.

"Are we awesome brothers and sisters?" D.va asked gesturing to her, Lucio, Tracer, Junkrat and Zenyatta, who was in the corner meditating in the corner but nevertheless listening to the conversation.  Again she nodded and received a high five from Lucio.

"I cannot wait to train you Mia" Zarya said taking another spoonful of moussaka and swallowing "You shall become great and strong like me" she finished flexing her arm. Mia giggled.

"Awww her laugh is adorable" commented Reinhardt making her blush a bit.

Jesse chuckled. "Very true" he turned his attention to her "So Mia.. Do you used have meals like this with you're family-" He was cut off by loud clanging. Everyone winced at the sound and turn to the owner. 

Mia violently stabbed a piece of her lamb when he mentioned her family. 

Did.. Did he really needed to go that far?

Does he want her to relive those traumatizing final moments with them? If he did. Then he is the most insensitive uncle in the world.

Everyone felt uneasy by her glare, but it Jesse who felt threaten by it. Her face was expressionless but her her eyes were wide and filled with uncontrollable anger. She looked like a snake, waiting for it's prey in it's weakest then killing them in an instant.

"I-I.. Uh D-Didn't mean like that, it just-" she didn't want to hear anymore. So she just ate quickly, got off her chair, gave everyone a curt nod and headed out.

Everyone was silent and they stared at the door. Jesse's gut twisted in guilt, he forgot she was still a child and can't get over something so easily. He rubbed his hand to his face and felt a hard smack behind his head. He let out a pained shout and turned around to find Symmetra was the the one who smacked him, her and along with everyone else, was glaring at him. ( He wasn't sure with Zenyatta though but he could sense dissapproval )

"You imbecile" Satya spat "You could have ruined all the progress we had, not to mention you are letting her relive awful memories" he hung his head in shame, he didn't mean to. He just.. wanted to know her better. 

For the rest of the meal everyone ate in silence, after they were done Mercy went to Mia's room for her bath and get ready for bed. Mia's bedroom was in the hall next to her's, she knew this was her door because it was decorated with butterfly stickers. Mercy knocked before calling out "Mia I'm coming" she opened it and found her sitting on her bed, reading.

Mia's room was simple. White walls and gray carpeting, her bed was against the wall with two drawers in either side, a wall closet on the right side of the wall. a desk  was pushed up against the wall and chair with it nest to stationary window and a walk in bathroom. The room was almost bare but there were a few books. They'll get more if she starts to ask.

Mercy went in the bathroom, which only had a soft bathtub with shower head, a waste basket, laundry basket, a toilet sink and a foot stool for her to reach. Angela prepared the bath, carefully checking the temperature if it's right. She could hear Mia changing, Mercy was little glad she was more advanced than children her age. 

"Mia the water is warm, you can get in" the little girl did just that. Mercy grabbed a watermelon scented shampoo and lathered it in her head, she gently ran her finger through her fiery hair, carefully combed her hair to remove the tangles, then she rinsed her hair and applied watermelon scented conditioner. 

Next, she grabbed a loofah and a bottle of strawberry scented body soap. She lathered it on the loofah then gently scrubbed Mia. Mercy bit her lip at the tense silence, she could easily tell that the fiery haired girl was still a little angry on what Jesse said. So Angela decided to calm her.

"Mia" she started. "Please you're uncle Jesse didn't mean it. Really he didn't know, we all did" she said doing her back, stopping a bit to look at her apple shaped birth mark before going back to washing. She was sorta surprised to see it when she first bathe her but grown used to it.

Mercy could feel her relaxing a bit which made her smile, at least she was understanding. Mercy took the handheld  shower head and began to rinsed her. Once that was done she grabbed a blue towel from the rack began to dry her, then she wrapped her in it and brought her to her room. 

She sat her down to her bed and went to her closet, Mercy picked out her underwear, a pink pig onesie and a pair of pink cotton socks. She let change on her own and once she was done she brought her back to the bathroom and let her brush teeth while she dried her hair, finally she was placed in bed. 

"Mia in the morning let you're uncle Jesse apologize alright?" Mia nodded. Mercy smiled and kissed her forehead.

"Good night Mia" she said standing up and turning off the light. Mia closed her eyes and after a few minutes she was finally asleep.

Somewhere around midnight smoky tendrils opened her window and drifted inside her room, they quickly but silently carried her out, so they would't risk to wake her. They finally got her out and closed the window.

As they finally reached ground it began to form a person, it was a muscular male with a bone white mask. He headed to a ship with two persons in it, one was a spider-like woman and one was younger girl with purple hair with one part shaven.

"Well?" the girl with shaven hair asked impatiently. Once they both saw the girl on his arms, the spider woman started the ship quickly got out.
