Immediately when Sara, Ray, Myra and Zari walked onto the ship, Charlie and Mona were waiting in the parlour.
"Gideon traced our new fugitive to a wedding Jane Austen attended in Bath, England, 1802." Charlie announced.
"I already had Gideon chart a course." Mona said and then looked at Sara, "Can I come on the mission? Please?"
Sara sighed, "Sure."
"Yeah, and as much as I love a good wedding sneak, I'm gonna QB from, um-from my bedroom." Ray said, looking around suspiciously.
"You okay, Ray?" Myra asked, leaning her hip against the console.
"Yep." Ray answered and left the room quickly.
"Is he acting weirder than usual?" Sara asked.
"Yeah." Everyone nodded.
Mona leaned towards Zari who leaned away confused.
"Speaking of weird..." Zari started.
"I think my sense of smell has improved because of Wolfie. And you smell exactly like-" Mona paused and then continued, "Nate."
Charlie and Myra both looked at each other and smirked.
"No, I don't." Zari shook her head.
"It's definitely Nate." Mona nodded, "And something else. Arousal?"
Charlie chuckled and Myra smirked at Zari.
"No, I don't-I don't like Nate." Zari said blushing and shaking her head, "That would be wrong and-"
Sara leaned on the console and smirked, "He likes you. He confessed to it when he swallowed the truth bug."
"We're so not passing the Bechdel Test right now." Zari said looking away from all of them.
"It's okay to talk about guys sometimes." Sara said.
"Come on. I bet it's been months since you got laid." Charlie nudged Zari, "Now, why don't you just go smash Nate?"
"Really feels weird talking about my best friend like this." Myra said but then leaned her arm on Charlie's shoulder and looked at Zari, "But she's got a point."
"Or better yet, you should go smash somebody else because if you're still thinking about Nate then you know you're really into him." Sara offered.
Myra pointed at Sara, "Yeah, or do that."
"Why don't you talk to Nate? Tell him how you feel." Mona offered.
Charlie shook her head, "Oh boo!"
"That is a terrible idea." Sara frowned.
Zari shook her head, "Okay, I'm going. Bye." She turned around and left.

Once they arrived in Bath, the five women changed into their era appropriate clothing and headed for the wedding that they knew Jane Austen would be at.
"This is like a Jane Austen novel come to life." Mona said excitedly.
"Right?" Myra grinned.
The Legends looked around to see various groups of people walking towards the church. A gust of wind suddenly blew Mona's bonnet off of her head.
"Oh, my bonnet!" Mona cried and Zari ran towards it.
Zari reached down to pick it up right as a horse and buggy skidded to a halt in front of her. She fell backwards onto the ground. The coachman from the buggy, got out and walked towards her.
Myra smirked at her friends, "Oh this is going to be good."
"Forgive me Miss. Are you hurt?" The coachman asked, and held out a hand to help her up.
Zari looked speechless for a second before she uttered, "Only my pride."
Myra turned her head away to hide her giggles.
"Injured pride is a small thing if it allowed us to meet." The coachman said and handed Zari Mona's bonnet which she had dropped when she'd fallen.
Charlie, Sara and Myra nudged each other, smirking at their friend.
The man in the buggy suddenly yelled out, "What's the holdup?"
"Duty calls." The coachman said and bowed to Zari.
Zari bobbed in an awkward curtsey before rushing back to the other Legends.
Myra and Charlie were now in a fit of giggles, holding onto each other to keep their balance.
Zari cleared her throat, "Not a word."
"Was that a curtsey?" Sara laughed.
"'Only my pride'" Charlie imitated Zari as she bobbed in a curtsey as well before linking her arm with Myra.
Myra snickered, "How very period appropriate of you."
"Okay, let's go. Shut up." Zari huffed and turned around.
"A damsel." Sara said laughing.
The four other Legends laughed and mimicked Zari as they followed behind her.

The wedding had just started when the five Legends took their seats in a back row.
"If you don't jump that buff coachman's bones-" Charlie started but didn't finish the sentence as Myra nudged her, "Well, I can't, obviously, but you know what I mean."
"We are at this wedding to catch a magical creature." Zari hissed, "And listen to your girlfriend."
Sara sighed looking at the groom, "IF that the groom, then I'm glad I'm not the bride."
A woman in the pew ahead of them turned around, "A man's charms are equal to his fortunes. And Mr. Dockerty's fortunes are prodigious."
The woman sitting next to her shushed her, "Shh Jane. Don't be rude."
"Right, it's all about money in this era." Myra hissed at her friends.
Mona's eyes widened, "That's Jane Austen."
They all stared at her until the organ sounded and the bride came walking down the aisle. She made it about halfway down the aisle when suddenly she stopped.
"I cannot marry you, Mr. Dockerty." She stated and everyone gasped, "My heart yearns for another. Our family's scullery maid. Ellen, are you here?"
A woman popped up in the back, "I'm here. I love you too!"
The gasping of the audience continued and several people shouted out, "Scandal!" as the two women embraced in the aisle.
The groom suddenly spoke, "I give not one fig, Miss Sinclair, for my heart and my lower extremities yearn for your mother."
"Get over here gorgeous." A woman in the front row stood up.
Suddenly random people started running to each other and making out in the church as the other people stood up in shock.
"Okay what is happening?" Myra asked, looking at her friends who all seemed equally shocked except for Charlie.
"Now this is what I call a wedding!" Charlie grinned.
>> >> >>
"So, the bride and the scullery maid, that was-" Sara remarked as they left the church. They had already sent Charlie back to the ship to meet with Ray and figure out what was going on.
"Insane?" Zari asked.
"Romantic." Mona added.
"I was going to say hot.." Sara nodded.
"Regardless, that definitely did not happen in actual history." Zari remarked.
"That whole wedding was interesting." Myra added.
"Ray, Charlie, what you got?" Sara asked.
"This wedding was the second of a series of lust outbreaks in 1802." Charlie remarked.
"Yeah, the sexual revolution came a couple hundred years too early." Ray added.
"Why would it make Jane Austen stop writing?" Sara asked and turned around to face the others, "We need more info."
"Well, Jane Austen was known for being a keen social observer." Mona said.
Myra nodded, "Yeah, if anyone would have noticed a new magical arrival in town, it would probably be her."
"Okay, let's go interview Jane." Sara agreed.
"Oh wait, hang on a tick. The people with the real dirt, always the servants." Charlie added.
"Charlie!" Myra rolled her eyes.
"What?" Charlie asked, innocently.
"Hmm, like a handsome coachman perhaps?" Sara caught on, smirking at Zari.
"Okay fine. I'll go ask him some questions. But that's it." Zari sighed, reluctantly agreeing.
"Girl, he's hot, so wouldn't blame you if you do anything else." Myra called after her as Zari turned away.
At Mona and Sara's confused looks Myra shrugged, "What? If my girlfriend can say he's hot, so can I."
Sara shrugged, "Fair point."

When they arrived at Jane Austen's house, someone took their coats and then once they'd asked to call on Jane, they were let into her study by her sister.
"Sister. This is Miss Lance, Miss Wu and Miss Shang. They're new in town. Try not to scare them away." Jane's sister, Cassandra, said.
"I'll try my best Cassandra." Jane said who was sitting at her desk. She set down her pen and took off her glasses to look at them.
The three Legends nodded at Cassandra as she left the room.
"We are so sorry to interrupt your writing, Miss Austen." Mona said as the three stepped forward.
"This? Just a letter." Jane said, quickly covering it and standing up, "Uh, shall we take a turn around the room while we converse?"
Myra inwardly groaned but kept a small smile on her face. Taking "a turn around the room" was always one of her least favorite things that were in Jane Austen's novels and books but she supposed it was a Regency thing.
"We'd be delighted to." Mona smiled and whispered to Sara, "It's a Regency thing, Go with it."
Sara awkwardly followed Mona, Myra and Jane's example before asking, "So, the bride, Miss Sinclair, her behavior must have been quite a shock."
"Ever since Lord Remington arrived a week ago, the entire town has been acting most imprudently." Jane responded, "But Miss Sinclair's situation is truly horrendous."
"Oh, I'd think you of all people would celebrate the triumph of romance." Mona said.
"What's to celebrate?" Jane asked confused, "Miss Sinclair will be cut off from her fortune and the two women will have nothing to live on."
"See, it all comes down to money." Myra whispered to Sara.
"But it's because of you-" Mona says and then catches herself, "I-I mean I have come to believe that love will find a way to overcome any obstacle."
"Then you're either lying or you're a fool." Jane responded.
Myra raised an eyebrow at that.
"Tell me, has love worked out so well for you?" Jane asked her.
"No, but-" Mona started.
"Then you are a fool." Jane responded, "For you shouldn't have to learn a lesson twice."
Mona growled and Myra grabbed her arm gently.
"Mona, not here." Myra warned her.
"Let's go find Lord Remington." Sara said softly to Mona before shoving her towards the door.
Sara and Myra curtseyed slightly before Sara said, "We should be going."
"Thank you for your hospitality." Myra added before following Sara out.
Once they had said their thanks to Cassandra, Myra sighed and turned to the others, "What now?"
"I guess we find Lord Remington." Sara stated, "There must be someone here who knows who he is."
"I mean we could have asked Jane Austen but it definitely was getting a little bit awkward." Myra stated as they walked back the way they'd come.
"Hey, maybe there's still some people at the church." Sara suggested.
"Well, it's worth a shot." Myra shrugged.
>> >> >>
The church was mostly empty except for a few women giggling in a corner.
Sara and Myra had been trying to cheer Mona up the whole way back to the church.
"Cheer up. I mean, what does Jane Austen know?" Sara asked.
"How to be witty and wise and mix satire with romance." Mona said glumly.
"I mean, she's got a point." Myra said.
Sara had stopped and was looking over at the girls giggling, "I bet you these girls know where Lord Remington is."
"They do look like fangirls." Mona added.
Myra glared at the girls in the corner, "I don't think they're going to be nice to us but why not."
Myra lurked in the background as they spoke to the girls. When one of the girls mentioned a coachman, Myra stepped forward to Sara's side.
"His arrival has sent many hearts aflutter." One of the women said as they turned away.
Mona rolled her eyes but Sara and Myra stared at each other in alarm.
"Coachman?" Sara asked, "As in the guy we pushed Zari to hook up with!"
"Well shit." Myra cursed.
"Zari's going to smash the fugitive!" Mona's eyes widened.
The three of them rushed out of the church towards Lord Remington's estate as fast as they could.
>> >> >>
The three found the stables and rushed in, hearing moans.
"We're too late!" Mona cried.
Sara grabbed the handle of one of the stalls but grimaced and took it away, "Zari! We think you might be dealing with-"
The door wrenched open and Zari pulled the coachman out who now had his hands tied.
"The fugitive?" Zari asked, "Yeah, I know. This is Kamadeva."
"As in the namesake of Kama Sutra, Kamadeva?" Mona asked.
"That, I did not know." Zari said slowly and then added, "Look, I'm not going to sleep with a magical fugitive." Zari stared at Myra.
"Why the hell are you looking at me?" Myra asked, offended.
"I mean you are sleeping with Charlie." Sara said slowly.
"Seriously? Get over it." Myra rolled her eyes, "And she's not just a magical fugitive. She's also part of the team."
"Hmm. You are incredible. A woman has never before resisted my charms." Kamadeva stated.
"All right. You're coming with us." Sara said as she and Mona grabbed his arms and pulled him away from Zari.
"I would follow Miss Zari to the world's end." Kamadeva said as they led him away.
