A/N: so I've been listening to some songs recently that are sappy but kekgkvk

I mainly started thinking about writing this because I was wondering what it would sound like if jonathon groff sang one of these in his king george voice,,,,

and they apply to my feelings so I thought why not write leebury for it???

so here we are

a little summary thing; charles and samuel are going on a date and stuff and they live next to each other. while samuel is getting ready he's listening to a song and singing along quietly, while charles is doing the same except loudly. and the walls are thin.

Samuel excitedly started his playlist as he was getting ready for his date with Charles. He sang along quietly to a few of the songs that came on until one in particular came on;

I Do Adore by Mindy Gledhill.

It was the song that got him and Charles to go on a date in the first place.

Samuel blushed softly as he started humming along at first. He heard music coming from the other side of the wall, where Charles lives, and loud, passionate singing. It made him chuckle.

"When you're near, I hide my blushing face..." Samuel sang quietly, sitting against the wall in living room.

"And trip on my shoelaces..." his singing gradually got louder.

"Grace just isn't my forte but it brings me to my knees when you say," Samuel's face was deep red and he sang with love dripping in his voice.

"'Hello, how are you, my darling today?' I fall into a pile on the floor..." he slowly sank onto the carpeted floor and stared at the ceiling. 

"Puppy love is hard to ignore, when every little thing you do, I do adore."

Samuel thought about Charles. He thought about the way his hair was soft, the shape of his lips, how his eyes crinkled when he smiled, and every other beautiful feature of Charles. Samuel was still a blushing mess.

"Finding words, I mutter, tongue-tied, twisted, foot in mouth, I start to stutter," Samuel placed both of his hands against his chest and smiled, "Ha, ha heaven help me."

He sighed dreamily and continued singing the song, unconsciously thinking about Charles.

"Every little thing you do, I do adore." the song ended and Samuel heard a loud gasp come from the other side of the wall. 

A song started playing on Charles' side and he was singing along. Loudly.

Samuel giggled and leaned against the wall again, listening to Charles sing.

"I'm in trouble, I'm an addict, I'm addicted to this boy," Samuel felt tears prickle at his eyes as he realized that Charles changed the lyrics to pertain to him (not sure if I used pertain correctly :P).

"He's got my heart tied in a knot, and my stomach in a whirl." Charles sighed and Samuel heard a small thud, which was from Charles dropping his head against the wall.

"And even worse I can't stop calling him, he's all I want and more."

"I mean damn, what's not to adore?" Charles chuckled and Samuel gigged, blushing. Even though Charles was on the other side of a wall, Samuel couldn't help but feel warm and fuzzy. 

As Charles continued to sing with his majestic voice, Samuel felt tears roll down his cheeks. It was so beautiful.

"And oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh oh, ooooooh oh oh," Charles sang more, "I'm running my mouth just like I got him but I surely don't." Charles audibly huffed and Samuel laughed a bit.

"Because he's so oh, oh, oh oh, oh rock and roll! and out of my league..."

"Is he out of my league? Let's hope not."

Once Charles stopped singing, Samuel was already at his front door, knocking on it. And when he opened it, Samuel immediately attached himself to his chest.

"Sammy, are you okay?" Charles questioned, using two fingers to lift Samuel's chin up. Tears were still rolling down his cheeks.

"I just- I heard you singing and I-" Samuel groaned in slight frustration, "I love you!"

Samuel smashed his lips against Charles'. They stayed like that for a good while. Once they finally had to pull away, though, Charles rested his forehead against Samuel's.

"I love you too."

They shared another quick kiss.
