Three days have passed since the battle at the Triskelion and alot of things have happened. The team found Anne Winters and took her to a hospital and after three days, she made a full recovery.

Multiple politicians and officials who were part of HYDRA were arrested including Senator Stern. They also found Brock Rumlow in the remains of the Triskelion and took him to a hospital as he was servery burnt and injured.

Sharon Carter and Jack Ryan were recruited by the Joint Counter Terrorist Centre and has been working with them for the last two days however they are also doing secret missions for Fury.

Natasha was at the Department Of Defence as they began speaking to her and she was listening to them.

Bailiff: Do you solemnly swear to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth?

Natasha: I do.

Committee General: Why haven't we yet heard from Captain Winters?

Natasha: I don't know what there is left for her to say. I think the wreck in the middle of the Potomac made her point fairly eloquently.

Committee General: Well, she could explain how this country's expected to maintain its national security now that you and your team have laid waste to our intelligence apparatus.

Natasha: HYDRA was selling you lies, not intelligence.

Committee General: Many of which you seem to have had a personal hand in telling.

Scudder: Agent, you should know that there are some on this committee who feel given your service record, both for this country and against it that you belong in a penitentiary, not mouthing off on Capitol Hill.

Natasha: You're not gonna put me in a prison. You're not gonna put any of us in a prison. You know why?

Scudder: Do enlighten us.

Natasha: Because you need us. Yes, the world is a vulnerable place, and yes, we helped make it that way. But we're also the ones best qualified to defend it. So if you want to arrest me, arrest me. You'll know where to find me.

Natasha immediately got up and began walking away as everyone was shocked by what she heard while reporters were asking her some questions but she ignored them and continued walking away.

Meanwhile Fury walked out of the truck as he was wearing glasses and threw the lighter on the ground as the truck was on fire and everything inside the truck containing information about him along with his eyepatch were in flames as Nick began walking away.

January 16 2014 [The Next Day]

Fury along with Anne, Sharon, Jack, Sam and Alex were at the cemetery as they were looking at Nick's gravestone and spoke to each other.

Fury: So, you've experienced this sort of thing before?

Anne: You'll get used to it.

Jack: We've been data-mining HYDRA's files. Looks like a lot of rats didn't go down with the ship.

Sharon: We're heading to Europe tonight.

Fury: Alright. [Looks at Anne] You coming?

Anne: There's something I gotta do first.

Fury: Okay then. What about you, Alex?

Alex: I need to do something.

Fury: Wilson?

Sam: I'm more of a soldier than a spy.

Fury: Alright then. Anybody asks for me, tell them they can find me right here.

The team nodded as Fury shaked hands with all of them before he walked away as everyone continued speaking to each other.

Jack: Well we have to go now. We'll see you all later.

Sharon: Take care of yourselves.

The team nodded as Sharon and Jack walked away as Anne along with Sam and Alex were gonna leave the cemetery until they saw someone walking towards them as they saw who it was.

Natasha: You should be honored, that's about as close as he gets to saying thank you.

Anne: Not going with Fury, Sharon and Jack?

Natasha: No.

Anne: Not staying here?

Natasha: I blew all my covers, I gotta go figure out a new one.

Anne: That might take a while.

Natasha: I'm counting on it. [Shows a file to Anne] That thing you asked for. I called in a few favors from Kiev.

She gave the file to Anne as she was looking at the file until Romanoff said something to her.

Natasha: Be careful, Anne. You might not want to pull on that thread.

Winters nodded as Natasha looked at Alex and said she wanted to speak to him. He looked at her as she began walking with him and Anne along with Sam were looking at them.

Anne: They look adorable together.

Sam: True and they are a dynamic duo too.

Natasha and Alex were walking around as they continued speaking to each other.

Natasha: So what's next for you?

Alex: I'm working on a case. Someone's been leaving tips for me and the police. I'm figuring out who it is.

Natasha: And after your done, solving that case. What do you plan on doing next?

Alex: I don't really know. Why?

Natasha: [Smiles] I was thinking, maybe you and I can go on a date.

Alex was staring at her as she had a smile on her face until Ambrose said something to her.

Alex: Alright then. You got yourself a date.

Natasha was smiling at him until she kissed his cheek as Ambrose looked at her until she said something to him.

Natasha: You look adorable.

She winked at him before Romanoff began walking away as Alex was blushing until Anne and Sam walked towards him and said something to him.

Sam: I smell love in the air! [Laughs]

Alex glared at Sam as he lifted his hands up and said something to him.

Sam: [Laughs] It's a joke, Bats.

Anne smiled them as she opened the file and saw information about Bucky as she was looking at the pictures and information until Sam said something to Anne.

Sam: You're going after him?

Anne: You don't have to come with me.

Sam: I know. When do we start?

It was night time in New York City as police officers heard about a shootout at a warehouse as they drove towards the location and found the warehouse. The officers exited the vehicle and walked towards the warehouse as they opened the lights and saw what happened.

Multiple mercenaries who were involved in a human trafficking operation were beaten up and tied up as the victims ran towards the officers and they spoke to them.

Officer: What happened here?

Civilian: They were gonna load us in a container until two vigilantes broke into the warehouse and took down the mercenaries.

Officer: Who are they?

Civilian: I don't know. They shut down the lights in the warehouse and took out the mercenaries, one by one.

The officers were confused as they escorted the victims out of the warehouse. At a rooftop, someone was watching them.

Nathan: The hostages are safe.

Yelena: That's good to hear, let's get out of here.

Nathan nodded as both him and Yelena immediately left the rooftop and got inside a car as they began driving away.

Meanwhile in Chicago, a SWAT team made it to a abandoned construction site they entered the site and saw multiple criminals were beaten up and tied up as they saw multiple weapons crates being burned down.

The SWAT team also noticed a data drive as they accessed the files in the drive and found out the criminals have multiple connections with top businessman and politicians.

The SWAT team arrested the criminals and began escorting them towards the truck as someone was at the rooftop, watching them.

Daniel: And there goes the criminals and the weapons crate.

Kate: Yup! Now let's get out of here.

Daniel nodded as both him and Kate left the scene as he used his wings and carried Kate and both of them began flying away.

In a secret facility, there was a HYDRA scientist speaking to someone.

List: It's over. Fury has released everything to the public.

Baron Wolfgang von Strucker: Everything he knows about.

List: Strucker, if they get word of our work here, if they find out we serve HYDRA-

Strucker: HYDRA, SHIELD, two sides of a coin that's no longer currency.

They continued walking as they were looking at a weapon in display.

Strucker: What we have is worth more than any of them ever knew. We've only scratched the surface and already, There are other facilities doing HYDRA's good work around the world. We'll feed them to Captain Winters and her friends. Keep them off our scent.

List: What about the volunteers?

Strucker: The dead will be buried so deep, their own ghosts won't be able to find them.

Strucker had a smile on his face as both of them continued walking until they made it to a holding cell as he saw three test subjects inside three separate cell.

Strucker: Sooner or later everyone will meet them. It's not a world of spies anymore, not even a world of heroes. This is the age of miracles, doctor. There's nothing more horrifying than a miracle.

At the GCPD building. Gordon was standing at the rooftop and looked at the bat-signal until he heard footsteps as he turned around and saw Batman as he spoke to him.

Gordon: You had a long few days. You should rest up after this.

Alex: What's the matter, Jim?

Gordon: Well I was making my way to my office until I noticed something on my desk and It was a message directly to you.

James gave Alex a evidence bag as Ambrose took the bag and opened it as he picked up a card and saw the card along with a message on the back.
