April 15 2015 [One Year After Arkham Asylum]

Sokovia is a Eastern European country bordered by Slovakia and the Czech Republic. The country has a turbulent history marked by political strife and external influences. Historically, it has faced challenges like civil unrest and economic instability which have left its population vulnerable and distrustful of foreign entities, particularly Stark Industries.

Years ago, Stark Industries supply weapons in many countries and those weapons were used in wars and soon these weapons found their way into Sokovia and since then began committing heinous crime using Stark's weapons which made the country despise them and multiple protests have erupted around the country. Despite Tony stopping the manufacturing of weapons and trying to help the world. Sokovia hasn't forgotten about what his weapons did to them and continue to hold him responsible for the deaths of many.

However as the civil unrest continues. HYDRA used this as an advantage and established an underground compound in Sokovia while its operatives still posed as loyal SHIELD agents. While the rebellion in the country continues to get even worse. HYDRA managed to send its operatives to the country under the guise of being SHIELD peacekeeping forces.

Soon HYDRA found Loki's Scepter and began bringing human test subjects into the research station where they began experimenting and torturing them until the pain was unbearable, leading to their deaths.

There was silence heard around the woods as an alarm was heard in the distance until two trucks were rapidly driving through the woods until someone fired a explosive arrow, destroying both trucks and a huge explosion was seen.

There was a tank driving through the woods until someone jumped on the tank and attached a explosive device before grappling away as a huge explosion was seen and the tank was destroyed.

There were two solider firing in the distance until someone sliced both hostiles in half with a sword and continued moving forward.

There were two more soldiers running until someone grabbed both of them by their legs and tossed them in the air until he picked up a shotgun on the ground and fired at both of the hostiles mid air as they were dead.

Iron Man saw the research base as he began flying towards the base but he was met with a force field as Stark said something.

Tony: S***!

Someone attacked two HYDRA soliders with a sword and took down the enemies as he said something to Stark.

???: Hey, language.

Daniel: JARVIS, what's the view from upstairs?

JARVIS: [On Radio] The central building is protected by some kind of energy shield. Strucker's technology is well beyond any other HYDRA base we've taken.

Meanwhile Thor was at the watchtower as he defeated multiple HYDRA soliders and destroyed the tower as he said something.

Thor: Loki's scepter must be here. Strucker couldn't mount this defense without it. At long last.

Meanwhile there were some soliders that were firing at Clint until someone threw a smoke grenade at them and took down two soliders by hitting a dropkick on them before taking down the third hostile with a spinning heel kick as she said something.

???: "At long last" is lasting a little long, boys.

Yelena heard a sound as she saw a tank that was gonna fire at her until someone shot a explosive split arrow and a explosion was seen as the tank was destroyed.

???: Yeah. I think we lost the element of surprise.

Meanwhile on the other side, multiple soliders were being lifted in the air until they were slammed on the ground as he said something to the team.

???: Wait a second. No one else is going to deal with the fact that Daniel just said "language?"

Tony: [On Radio] I was gonna say the same thing.

Daniel: [On Radio] I know. It just slipped out.

Meanwhile someone attacked multiple soliders as she fired multiple taser discs, knocking the hostiles out as she said something.

???: [Chuckles] You know we can all talk about it after the mission.

Natasha saw Hulk destroying multiple tanks that were in the way as everyone began moving forward and continued fighting the hostiles and tanks.

Meanwhile at the research base, Strucker and List along with multiple soliders were in the control room as they were talking to each other.

Strucker: Who gave the order to attack?

Fortress Soldier: It's the Avengers.

Fortress Soldier: They landed in the far woods.

Strucker: [Looks at List] They have to be after the scepter. [Looks at the soldier] Can we hold them?

Fortress Soldier: They're the Avengers!

Strucker: Deploy the rest of the tanks.

Fortress Soldier: Yes, sir.

Strucker: Concentrate fire on the weak ones. A hit can make them close ranks. Everything we've accomplished. . . . But we're on the verge of our greatest breakthrough.

List: Then let's show them what we've accomplished. Send out the three test subjects.

Strucker: It's too soon.

Dr. List: It's what they signed up for.

Strucker: My men can hold them.

Meanwhile the team continued pushing through the battle as Kate, Yelena, Daniel and Nathan saw a tank and were gonna attack it until a batarang hit the tank.

The team were confused as they saw the batarang was crimson red and had black widow's symbol on it. The batarang exploded as the tank was destroyed as the team immediately turned around and saw Natasha with a smile on her face.

Nathan: Really? He gave you some upgrades?

Tony: [On Radio] Natasha, I thought we were partners.

Natasha: [Chuckles] Sorry. When I told Bats about this mission. He gave me a new utility belt along with ice grenades, explosive and electrical batarangs and a remote hacking device.

Kate: Not fair! We've been friends for sometime now and he didn't gave me anything.

Yelena: Just wait till we get back to Gotham. I'm gonna have a word with him.

Daniel: Your not the only one.

Clint: Say, why didn't he came with us on this mission?

Tony: [On Radio] Probably wants to stay away from the sunlight. You know. . . . Because he's a Bat.

Thor: [On Radio] But still. Why isn't he helping us?

Natasha: He's still dealing with some issues in Gotham. That's why he didn't come here.

The team nodded and continued moving forward as Stark heard JARVIS speaking to him.

JARVIS: [On Radio] Sir, the city is taking fire.

Tony: Well, we know Strucker's not going to worry about civilian casualties. Send in the Iron Legion.

Meanwhile in the city, there were some civilians that were scared of the ongoing battle that was happening until they saw something flying as it landed on the ground and they saw what it was.

Iron Legion: This quadrant is unsafe. Please back away. We wish to avoid collateral damage and will inform you when this current conflict is resolved.

The civilians however were not happy and began throwing bottles filled with acid and garbage at the Iron Legion as they were saying "Avengers Go Home".

Meanwhile back at the HYDRA base, Strucker was speaking to the soldiers about the battle along with List.

Strucker: We will not yield. The Americans sent their circus freaks to test us. We will send them back in bags. No surrender!

Soldiers: No surrender!

Strucker: [Looks to List] I am going to surrender. You will delete everything. If we give the Avengers the weapons, they may not look too far into what we've been-

List: The test subjects!

Strucker: They are not ready to take on-

List: No, no. I mean. . . .

He pointed at the cells as Strucker noticed they were gone as he had a small smile on his face.

Meanwhile Clint defeated multiple soliders as he was gonna fire a explosive arrow at a truck until a strong force sent him flying towards the ground.

Clint was holding his arm as he heard someone speaking to him and saw who it was.

Pietro: You didn't see that coming.

Clint immediately got up and tried to attack him but Pietro immediately disappeared which shocked Barton until a turret shot Hawkeye as he fell down holding his injured arm.

Kate heard screaming as she ran towards the source of the sound and saw Clint holding his injured arm as she was shocked.

Kate: No!

She immediately ran towards him as Clint shouted "Watch out" to her. Pietro tried to attack Bishop but she did a backflip and shot a arrow mid air at the speedster but Pietro dodged the attack and disappeared as Bishop was shocked.

Kate: Guys, We have an enhanced in the field.

Daniel and Natasha fought multiple hostiles until they noticed Pietro trying to attack them but they rolled out of the way and he was gone.

Daniel: Yeah I see him. He's super fast.

Kate: [On Radio] Clint's hit!

Natasha and Daniel were shocked as they saw multiple drones flying in the sky as Mcfarland told Romanoff that he will handle the drones while she helps Kate.

Soon Natasha saw Kate firing at the hostile truck as they saw a bunker shooting at them until Romanoff said something.

Natasha: Somebody want to take out that bunker?

Suddenly the trio saw Hulk destroying the bunker as Natasha and Kate said "Thank You" and checked up on a injured Clint.

Meanwhile Daniel destroyed multiple drones in the sky until a powerful force pushed him back but he used his wings to slow his descent as he looked around and saw someone staring at him before he disappeared.

Daniel: Guys. We have another enhanced. Be careful.

He immediately flew away as Daikon was watching them from a far distance and noticed Alex wasn't with them as he gritted his teeth in anger and disappeared.

Meanwhile Stark managed to destroy the force field of the research base as he said something to the team.

Tony: Drawbridge is down, people.

Thor: [On Radio] The enhanced?

Kate: [On Radio] He's a blur. All the new player's we've faced, I've never seen this. In fact, I still haven't.

Daniel: [On Radio] I also saw another enhanced. He was flying and can disappear too.

Natasha: [On Radio] Clint's hit pretty bad, guys. We're gonna need evac.

Thor: [On Radio] I can get Barton to the jet. The sooner we're gone the better. Focus on securing the scepter.

Yelena: [On Radio] Copy that. Me and Nathan are entering the research base.

Nathan: [On Radio] More fireworks are on the way everyone. Hope you all like the show.

Meanwhile Tony entered the research base and made it to the control room as multiple soliders began shooting at him and he said something.

Tony: Guys, stop, we gotta talk this through.

They continued firing at him until Stark shot all of them with multiple bullets, knocking them out as he said something.

Tony: It was a good talk.

Fortress Soldier: No it wasn't.

Stark chuckled and found List trying to run away but he knocks him out. Soon Tony steps out of his Iron Man suit and began walking towards the computer and said something.

Tony: Okay, JARVIS. You know I want it all. Make sure you copy Hill at HQ.

Natasha: [On Radio] We're locked out.

Tony: Get to Banner. Time for a lullaby.

Stark transfered all the files back to HQ as he knew there's more then what meets the eye and said something to JARVIS.

Tony: I know you're hiding more than files. Hey, J, give me an IR scan of the room real quick.

JARVIS: [On Radio] The wall to your left. I'm reading steel reinforcement and an air current.

Tony: Please be a secret door, please be a secret door, please be a secret door.

He pushed the wall and a door was opened as Stark cheered and said "Yay" to himself before moving forward.

Meanwhile Strucker was running down the stairs until solider went flying towards the wall as he stopped and saw Yelena and Nathan fighting a soldier.

Yelena hit a knee strike on the soldier face as Nathan hit multiple strikes on the hostile before the duo hit a double spinning back kick, knocking the hostile out.

The duo walked towards Strucker as they said something to him.

Yelena: Baron Strucker.

Nathan: HYDRA's number one thug.

Strucker: Technically, I'm a thug for SHIELD.

Nathan: Well then technically you're unemployed.

Yelena: Where's Loki's scepter?

Strucker: Don't worry, I know when I'm beat. You'll mention how I cooperated, I hope.

Yelena: I'll put it right under illegal human experimentation.

Suddenly a powerful telekinetic force sent Yelena and Nathan flying towards the ground as they slowly got up and saw who it was.

Nathan: How many are there?

Yelena and Nathan immediately got up as Wanda immediately left the room and closed the door as Yelena said something to the team.

Yelena: We have a another enhanced. Female.

Strucker: You'll have to be faster than-

Yelena and Nathan hit a double punch on the villains gut as he was stunned before both of them hit a powerful double big boot, sending Strucker flying towards the wall, knocking him out.

Nathan: You talk too much.

Yelena: Your right about that. [On Radio] Guys. We got Strucker.

Tony: [On Radio] Yeah, I got. . . . something bigger.

Meanwhile Stark was walking down a narrow passageway and was at a secret room as he saw a variety of technology, as well as recovered artifacts from the Battle of New York, including a gigantic Chitauri leviathan and some of his scrapped armor.

Soon Tony saw the scepter as he said something to the team.

Tony: Thor, I got eyes on the prize.

Wanda immediately walked away as Stark was holding his head until he heard a strange sound. Tony immediately turned around and saw the Chitauri corpse come to life as he immediately stepped back.

Soon he heard a sound as he looked in front of him and and saw all the Avengers are all laying on the floor as they were dead. Tony's eyes were widen until he heard a strange sound.

You could've saved us!

Why didn't you do more?!?!

Stark then sees that he's in the Chitauri realm and that the Chitauri are invading Earth. Suddenly he snapped out of it as he looked around and noticed everything was normal.

Unknown to him, Wanda, Daikon and Pietro were watching him as Tony summoned his suit gauntlet and grabbed the scepter as Pietro said something to them.

Pietro: We're just gonna let them take it?

Wanda and Daikon had a smile on their face as all three of them left the research base while Stark was holding the scepter and began making his way out of the base.
