Past sequence

There was an orphanage in Gotham as there was a women walking around the garden and was watering the plants as she was singing a song while she continued to water the plants.

Evelyn: [Smiles] In the field so green and so free, seeds gaze up.

The clouds keeps them from the light,

And the sky cries white tears of snow.

But still the fragile seeds wait long for the sun to shine

Evelyn Crawford is her name. She owns the orphanage in Gotham City and there she spreads happiness and love for the children and educates them in giving them a brighter future and know what's right and wrong in the world and always tell them to follow the right path.

She is married to Jeffrey Crawford who is a soldier and is part of a team which takes down criminal organisations. They also have two children, Danielle and Brian Crawford.

Evelyn continued to pour water on the plants until she felt someone hugging her as she had a huge smile on her face and saw Danielle and Brian who were smiling at her as she immediately carried them and they all laughed in happiness.

As the years went on, Everything was going well for the Crawford family however one day, everything changed for the family.

There was a businessman who has numerous corruption charges on him and has power to change anything. He even has friends in the criminal organisations and bribes officers to make sure no evidence will lead to his arrest.

The businessman whose name is Dennis Mercer met Evelyn and wanted to destroy the orphanage so that he can build another building here and that building will be a casino. Evelyn refused to let it happen and after Dennis said some harsh things to her and her family. Crawford responded by slapping him in the face and warned him to stay away from her family and the orphanage. However as Dennis was walking away, he was angry by what she did and said to him and had a plan that would destroy her and her family.

A few days later as Evelyn was making her way back to the orphanage but she saw the entire orphanage was on fire and she was horrified and shocked by what happened. She ran to try to save everyone trapped inside but the entire building fell apart and all she could do was watch and fall on her knees as she began crying and felt guilty for not saving them.

Two days after the fire, Dennis tampered with the evidence and framed Evelyn for setting fire to the orphanage and soon police arrested her at her house which shocked her. As she was taken away in handcuffs, a crowd of angry civilians began throwing stones at her for a horrific crime she committed and Evelyn cried and told them that she didn't anything but they still continued to throw stones at her.

As she was being escorted to the police car, Brian and Danielle cried for their mother and begged the officers to let her go but they were heartless and pushed the kids away as Evelyn watched with tears in her eyes as they continued crying for their mother. Soon she was inside the police car and the car began driving away as she continued crying for her kids.

A few days since her arrest, she was in the courtroom and Dennis using his power had the judge give Evelyn a death sentence and that was death by lethal injection. After hearing the news, she was horrified and begged the judge that she didn't do anything, however the verdict was already decided.

The next day as she was in her cell, waiting to be taken away. A prison guard informed her of a news that her husband was killed in a operation gone wrong and her kids, Brian and Danielle were killed in an accident. Evelyn was devastated by the news and began crying loudly as tears fell from her eyes and she continued to cry loudly for her family.

A few hours after she heard the news. The guards escorted her to death row and Evelyn already accepted her fate as she was being escorted to the hallway until Crawford felt dizzy and soon passed out as the prison guards immediately checked up on her and saw she wasn't waking up until they took her to a infirmary.

When Evelyn woke up in the infirmary and asked the doctor what happened, the doctor said that Evelyn was two weeks pregnant and that she fell unconscious because of the shock of what happened to her family.

Evelyn's eyes were widen in shocked and the next day, the judge passed a judgement that she can take care of her child until they turn five years old and soon her child will be adopted by a family and Evelyn will receive her death sentence.

Soon she gave birth to a boy and she named him, Charlie Crawfrord. For five years, Evelyn raised him in a prison cell and told him about his father and his siblings. She loved her son and wanted to be there for her but she knew after five years, she will be taken away from her and everything will be over for her.

Five years passed and Charlie was was adopted by William and Marie Ambrose. Charlie didn't wanted to leave his mother in prison but she said something to him.

Charlie: Mom! No!

Evelyn: Charlie, my son. Please try to understand. . . . . I want you to stay with them.

Charlie: No! Mom! I'm not leaving you!

William and Marie felt bad for him as Charlie was crying and Evelyn had tears in her eyes until she pressed her forehead on his head and said something to him.

Evelyn: Charlie. . . . . I love you and I'm always here for you honey but I want you to promise me. I want you to forget who you are, forget your past, change your name and start a new life. . . . . A new beginning. . . . . . Follow the right path, and promise me, you will never give up and you will remain strong.

Charlie was crying as Evelyn said to him, "I love you" before the prison guards took her away as he began screaming for his mother until she said her final words to him.

Evelyn: I love you, my son. . . . . .

As the guards took her away, Charlie continued crying for his mother as William and Marie felt bad for him and hugged him as he continued crying and was calling his mother's name until everything faded away.

December 25 2015

Alex opened his eyes and began coughing as the team immediately checked up on him and Natasha was holding his injured hand while the others removed the debris. Ambrose was coughing heavily as blood fell from his nose and he removed his mask as his suit had signs of wear and tear. The bat symbol on the chest is cracked and chipped, Parts of the suit were ripped and torn. There are scuff marks, blood and burn marks all over the suit and his cape was torn and had a few cuts.

Ambrose had scars on his cheek and forehead as his eyes were bloodshot red and he was coughing until he looked at the team, however he noticed the team were staring at him with sadness in their face.

Anne had a few tears falling from her eyes as she looked at Alex and remembered her family.

Kate had tears in her eyes as she was crying at Alex while Daniel had a few tears falling from his eyes.

Wanda was crying heavily and looked at Alex as Daikon looked at him with sadness in his face.

Yelena had shock and tears in her eyes as she was staring at Alex while Nathan looked at him with sadness in his face.

Jack had tears falling from his eyes when he looked at Alex as Sharon looked at him with sadness in her face.

Alex looked at Natasha who was also crying as he realised Daikon and Wanda went through his memories when he was unconscious and now the entire team knows everything about what he has gone through.

Alex slowly got up as he was coughing but he struggled to get on his feet but the team helped him stand up as he was staring at them before they said something to him.

Natasha:. . . . . . Is that why you always hid your past from us?

Anne: . . . . . . You and your family. . . . . They didn't deserve all this. This city did so much wrong to all of you. . . . . I can't believe they did this to you. . . . .

Daniel:. . . . . . I always had a feeling there was more to your story than you let on. . . . . . . . But I never imagined the extent of the pain you've been through.

Kate:. . . . You've always been so strong. . . . . . . but I never knew you and your mother went through all of this. . . . . .

Jack: I always knew there was something weighing on your shoulders, but I had no idea it was this heavy. . . . . . . You've been through so much pain and you've never let it show.

Wanda:. . . . . . . You were carrying such a burden and you never told us. . . . . . I can only imagine how much you've suffered in silence.

Sharon: Your mother was a sweet women. . . . . An angel. . . . She didn't deserved to be tormented like this. . . . .

Daikon: A few months back, when we first fought and I got inside your mind. . . . . I saw all the memories. . . . . I knew who you were . . . . . . I'm sorry this happened to you, Alex. . . . .

Nathan: . . . . . The pain you've kept locked inside. . . . . . . it's not something you should've hidden. . . . . . . I can't believe you went through all of that.

Yelena:. . . . . You've been living a nightmare and. . . . . . . I'm so sorry for what you've gone through.

Alex looked at them and remembered his mother as he closed his eyes and continued thinking about her as Natasha hugged him while crying as she said something to him.

Natasha: Alex. . . . . . You should have told us. . . . . We care about you. . . . We love you. . . . .

Alex:. . . . . . . . .

Suddenly a missile hit the building as everyone stood back until they heard something on the radio.

TYGER Helicopter: [On Radio] Hit successful. Inmate targets neutralized.

The team immediately left the steel mill as they got on the rooftop until they saw multiple TYGER Helicopters flying around Arkham City as they were shooting missiles around the city.

Wanda: Oh my god. . . . . .

Jack: They're killing everyone.

Daniel: So that's Protocol Ten. Eliminate every criminal in Gotham.

Anne: And that is Strange's legacy.

Daikon: And what would be his vision of a new world.

Nathan: That monster. . . . .

Alex:. . . . . . William, Marie, Strange is launching missile strikes on Arkham City from Wonder Tower. I need a way to get inside the tower.

William: [On Radio] Alex, you need to stop Joker. He has Talia.

Marie: [On Radio] If he get his hands on the Lazarus pit then you can't defeat Joker.

Alex: I can't. Hundreds will be killed. I need your help to stop the attack.

Marie: [On Radio] Alex, He'll kill Talia.

Alex: I'm not sacrificing thousands of lives just to save one life. I'm not doing that.

William and Marie were silent and knew he was right as he said something to them.

Alex: You two were there for me the day Mom died. . . . . . You two always supported me and taught me to always do the right. . . . And I love you two. . . . . .

William and Marie felt their hearts beating fast as tears fell from their eyes as Alex looked at the team and said something to them.

Alex: I thought it was over when the debris crushed me. . . . I thought to myself. . . . I can finally be with Mom, my dad, my brother and sister. . . . But I thought about all of you. . . . I don't want to leave you all alone. . . . You all are my family. . . . And I love you all for it. . . . . And I will always protect you all.

The team hugged Alex as he hugged them back until he began coughing and fell on his knees as blood fell from his nose and they said something.

Kate: We're gonna help you.

Yelena: We'll find a way to get in the tower together.

Alex: No. . . . . I need you all to get every prisoner out of Arkham City or Strange will kill everyone.

Sharon: Alex, you only have a few hours left.

Alex: I know . . . . . And that's all the time I need in stopping the attack and getting the cure back from Joker.

Suddenly another missile hit another building in the city as they heard something on the radio.

TYGER Helicopter: [On Radio] Targets are all hit. Casualties in Sector One are topping one hundred.

Natasha: Alex, I'll stay with you-

Alex: It's okay, Nat. Stay with them.

Natasha: But-

Alex pressed his forehead on her head as he said something to her.

Alex: I'll be okay. . . . I promise.

Natasha: Okay. But stay in contact with me.

Alex: I will. . . . . I love you, Natasha.

Natasha: I love you too, Alex.

They shared another hug as they broke the hug and Ambrose grappled to another rooftop while the team began moving around Arkham City to get all the prisoners out of the city.

Alex made it to the rooftop as William and Marie contacted him.

William: [On Radio] Alex, I got Talia's tracker signal and its already locked on.

Alex: Okay then. Stay locked on. Any idea how I can get in the tower?

Marie: [On Radio] According to multiple records. One of the choppers will be carrying the master control program. Once you find it, you can download the codes and get in the tower.

William: [On Radio] Alex, Strange also warned TYGER Helicopters to eliminate you if you interfere in their operation.

Alex nodded and saw one chopper as he pulled out the grapple gun and grappled towards the chopper.

Alex was scanning the chopper but didn't find the master control program as he jumped down and began gliding around the city until the choppers spotted him and said something.

TYGER Helicopter: [On Radio] We have Batman in sight.

Alex was dodging the incoming rockets and bullets as he threw a smoke bomb and the choppers flew past the smoke but they said something.

TYGER Helicopter: [On Radio] Target Batman has disappeared, we have no visual.

Unknown to them, Alex was underneath one of the choppers and scanned the three choppers around him but none of them had the master control program as he jumped off and grappled towards the next building.

Five minutes have passed and Alex was scanning another chopper until he found the master control program and used the remote hacking device to download the codes and spoke to William and Marie.

Alex: I've got the code. I'm heading to Wonder Tower.

William: [On Radio] Good. The code should let you enter via the guard room near the main gate.

Marie: [On Radio] Be careful, TYGER Guards are protecting the entire tower.

Alex: Got it. Don't lose Talia's signal. When I'm finished in the tower, I'm going after her.

They nodded as Alex jumped off the chopper and began gliding as he was making his way towards the main gate.

Five minutes later

Alex entered the main gate and saw some TYGER guards attacking some prisoners until Ambrose jumped down and took down the four guards until the television in front of him opened by itself as he saw who it was.

Hugo was staring at Alex as he had a gun and aimed it at a prisoner who was scared and Ambrose glared at Strange before Hugo said something to him.

Hugo: Stop right there, Batman. We need to talk and I know you wouldn't be able to live with yourself if your actions caused this innocent man to die.

Alex was staring at him until he noticed a gate opening by itself as he saw some TYGER guards entering the area and surrounded the vigilante as Strange continued speaking to Ambrose.

Hugo: I have a question for you. Before my arrival, this city was drowning under a tide of evil. Had you ever considered that all this is your fault? Your presence creates these monsters, like diseases, they spread. You created an environment that allowed the disease to mutate, to become stronger. Look at the Joker. Would he even exist if not for you? It must be depressing. All your sacrifices and yet, you are the one to blame.

Alex was staring at him as more TYGER guards entered the area and began surrounding the Batman as Hugo continued speaking to him.

Hugo: Oh, this is beautiful. I have at long last defeated the great Batman. Soon, I will take my rightful place at my master's side. We will rule over this world. So thank you, Batman, for all your help.

The TYGER Guards pulled out their weapons as Alex was staring at the hostiles before Strange said something to them.

Hugo: Now The Legend Ends.
