A brutal crime lord, Oswald Cobblepot was known in the Gotham City Underworld as The Penguin who funded much of its criminal operations. Directing his affairs from a ship, the Final Offer, Oswald was seen as a reputable businessman to the people of Gotham, but in reality, he was a brutal and psychotic villain.

Oswald was born into one of Gotham's wealthiest families, a dynasty of generals, mayors, and industrialists. The Cobblepots were among the founding fathers of the city, however, a long-standing rivalry with the Ambrose family led to them encountering financial difficulties and soon the family went bankrupt and since then, Oswald holds a grudge against the Ambrose Family.

Alex was staring at Cobblepot as Oswald was holding Freeze's gun and said something to the vigilante.

Cobblepot: Have a seat, Batman. Let's talk.

Alex stared at him and Cobblepot smiled at him until he pointed the gun at the two officers who were tied up as he said something to him.

Cobblepot: I've known you for so long. I know you don't want the innocent to get hurt. So unless you don't want me to hurt the cops, I suggest you do what I say.

Alex glared at Oswald as the inmates were smiling at the vigilante until Ambrose heard footsteps as he looked to the left and saw who it was.

Floyd Lawton better known as Deadshot, is a mercenary and an old enemy of Batman. he was considered to be the world's deadliest assassin and never missed a shot, especially with his pair of silenced, wrist-mounted 9mm cannons. After the Assault On Arkham incident, he disappeared and was never seen again.

Deadshot was staring at Alex as Ambrose heard footsteps and looked to the right until he saw who it was.

Originally a soldier in the army. Slade Wilson was part of an experimental super-soldier program where he gained enhanced strength, agility, healing factor and intelligence. Deathstroke became a mercenary soon after the experiment and rapidly gained a reputation as one of the world's greatest assassins. Following his defeat and incarceration at the hands of Batman during the Christmas Eve incident. Deathstroke was recruited by Waller in joining the Task Force X program before he escaped and stay hidden for many years.

Both assassins were staring at Alex as the vigilante was staring at them until Cobblepot let out a laugh and said something to the Batman.

Cobblepot: [Laughs] You weren't expecting that huh? I knew you were gonna show up sooner or later. That's why I brought in two of the world's greatest assassins in taking you out.

Alex glared at Cobblepot and looked back at Deadshot and Deathstroke who were staring at him until Oswald said something to them.

Cobblepot: Now now, let's all have a seat. No need to start the fight right now.

They looked at Cobblepot before they all took a seat and Oswald smiled at them before he took the cigar and light it up as he began smoking and said something to them.

Cobblepot: This is interesting. Two assassins, A Bat and A Bird all walk into a bar, sitting by the table and all having different motives.

They looked at Cobblepot as Oswald continued speaking to them.

Cobblepot: [Looks at Deathstroke] One desires revenge and wants to settle a score, [Looks at Deadshot] One wants to kill to get rich, [Looks at Alex] One wants to bring hope back to a city and One wants to rule this city.

They looked at each other as Cobblepot smiled at them and continued speaking to them.

Cobblepot: However we two all share the same objective. [Looks at Deathstroke] You want to kill him, [Looks at Deadshot] You want to kill him, I want to kill him. . . . . Tell me Batman, what do you want?

Alex stared at Cobblepot until he said something to him.

Alex: I'm going to break every bone in your body.

Cobblepot smiled at him and let out a maniacal laughter as the inmates were also laughing until Oswald said something to the vigilante.

Cobblepot: Do you really think you can defeat us? Your trapped and outnumbered.

Slade: Let's get this over with.

Floyd: And I've been itching to pull the trigger on my old enemy.

Alex: Trust me. You don't want to do this.

Slade: [Chuckles] I've been waiting thirteen years for this rematch.

Floyd: Plus, we already got our money. All that is left is killing you.

Cobblepot smiled at them as Alex was staring at them until Oswald got up and aimed the freeze gun at Batman until he said something to him.

Cobblepot: I tried to help you Batman. I gave you the opportunity to end this and walk away, but oh no. You had to be the big man and now it's the end of the line for you.

Slade and Floyd noticed Cobblepot was gonna fire the gun at Alex however the gun began to malfunction which confused Penguin and tried to fire it multiple times but it wasn't working.

Cobblepot: What the hell!? What's wrong with this gun!?

Oswald looked at Alex and noticed him holding the disruptor as he was shocked until Ambrose grabbed the gun and threw it away before he used the batarang and impaled Cobblepot's hand on the table as he began screaming in pain while the inmates were shocked.

Cobblepot screamed at Deathstroke and Deadshot to attack the vigilante, however they were still sitting by the table as he once again shouted at them.

Cobblepot: Kill him! I said kill him!

The inmates aimed their weapons at the Batman and were gonna shoot him until Deadshot used the cannon and fired a bullet which ricocheted and killed eight inmates as Cobblepot was shocked.

Another inmate was gonna shoot Alex but Deathstroke pulled out dual swords and began slashing through eight inmates, killing them as Oswald couldn't believe what was happening.

Alex was staring at them until Deadshot said something to the vigilante.

Floyd: We've been fighting for years now and though you are my greatest enemy. . . . . . My family is more important to me. After what Waller did to me years ago, I decided to quit being an assassin and want to be there for my daughter and wife. . . . I was only here for the money. . . . I'm not gonna kill you. . . After this, I'm retiring and leaving Gotham forever.

Cobblepot was shocked by what Lawton said as Deathstroke slowly walked towards the vigilante while holding the swords as both of them were staring at each other.

Slade: If I wanted, I could kill you right here. . . . . . But I choose not too. My son looks up to me and. . . . I don't want him to follow the path, I'm walking. . . . . That's why I'm also ending all of this. . . . . After I got my money, I'm leaving this life behind.

Cobblepot: You traitors! I gave you money to kill the bat and you double crossed me!?

Alex threw a batarang at Oswald's arm as he was screaming in pain and removed the projectile from his hand as he began running away.

The inmates were gonna attack Alex but Deadshot and Deathstroke began fighting the hostiles as they said something.

Slade: Go. We'll take care of this.

Floyd: And don't worry about the cops. We'll get them out of here safely.

Ambrose saw Cobblepot running away in fear as one inmate tried to attack but the vigilante grabbed the inmate and threw him towards the control panel as the lights in the Iceberg Lounge opened up and music began to emit around the club.

Cobblepot continued running away until Ambrose threw two batarangs at Penguin's back as he was in pain and ran out of the office. He continued running down the stairs as music continued to emit around the lounge while the lights were shining around the club.

He continued running as he was holding his arm until Oswald turned around and saw Ambrose slowly walking towards him.

Cobblepot was terrified and continued running away as Alex was staring at him and continued walking towards him as both of them were at the lounge.

Cobblepot continued running away in fear as Alex was walking towards him as the music continued to play in the lounge. Soon Penguin ran towards two inmates and shouted at them.

Cobblepot: The Bat's here! Kill him!

The duo nodded and grabbed the axes and ran towards the vigilante as they began fighting him.

Ambrose grabbed one inmate arm and twisted it before he hit a powerful punch, breaking his arm before he hit a leg sweep, knocking him out.

The second inmate tried to hit Alex with the axe but Ambrose hit a headbutt on the hostile before grabbing the axe and hitting him in the face with the handle of the weapon before he threw the hostile off the stairs as he was unconscious.

Cobblepot gritted his teeth in anger and removed the batarang from his arm as he saw Alex slowly walking towards him until Penguin said something to him.

Cobblepot: It's just you and me now. The Bat vs The Bird.

Penguin tried to punch Alex but Ambrose blocked the attack and punched him in the throat as Oswald was stunned before the vigilante began hitting multiple shoot kicks at the villain.

Alex tried to punch Cobblepot again but Oswald grabbed his arm and began kicking the vigilante multiple times in chest before he punched him in the face and lifted him up before slamming him on the table.

Alex tried to get up but Penguin kicked the Batman in the face and lifted him up before throwing him on the stairs

Alex was holding his back as Cobblepot began dragging the vigilante towards the upper levels as he got him up and began choking him as the Batman began punching Oswald multiple times until Cobblepot hit a headbutt on the vigilante which stunned him.

Alex hit a knee strike on Cobblepot's gut and followed it up with a bell clap on him as Penguin was stunned until Ambrose stomped on Cobblepot's leg before hitting a big boot on him before following it up with a uppercut which made the villain walk back.

The vigilante tried to attack him again but Cobblepot grabbed a bottle and hit Alex with it before he kicked the vigilante off the railing as he began free-falling until Ambrose fell down on the lower levels and he was unconscious.

Cobblepot was in pain and removed the batarangs from his back as he looked down and saw Alex wasn't moving as he was staring at him until two inmates ran towards him and saw what happened as they were shocked.

Inmate: Boss! You did it! You killed the bat!

Cobblepot: Shut up! I've fought him for years, I know he's not gonna stay down this easily! Get down there and kill him before he wakes up!

Inmate: Got it!

Meanwhile in the lower levels, Alex who was unconscious was laying down on the ground until he heard something.

Alex began hearing a voice calling him as he slowly opened his eyes and his vision was blurry as he saw a women standing in front of him until she said something to him.

Evelyn: Alex! Alex!

Alex was staring at his mother who continued telling his name as the voices began fading away and Ambrose slowly got up as he managed to stand up and look around the Iceberg Lounge.

Alex began to hear the music in the lounge as he heard something from the upper level and looked up as it was Cobblepot who was shouting at the inmates to attack the vigilante as Alex saw multiple inmates running down the stairs while armed with axes, knives and guns as Evelyn said something to him.

Evelyn: Time to fight, Alex.

One inmate had the axe and immediately charged towards the vigilante until Ambrose immediately countered the attack and took down the hostile.

Another inmate tried to attack Alex with the baseball bat but the vigilante grabbed the hostile arm and hit a spinning back elbow before he hit a overhead belly to belly suplex, sending him flying towards the glass panel.

Alex grabbed the baseball bat and saw another inmate trying to attack him with an axe but Ambrose used the bat to block the axe attack before he hit a powerful strike with the bat, sending the hostile flying towards the table, knocking him out.

Another inmate tried to attack the vigilante with a knife but Ambrose took down the hostile.

Alex saw four inmates holding rifles as they were gonna fire at him until the vigilante threw four taser discs, instantly knocking them out as he continued fighting the other hostiles.

Meanwhile Deadshot and Deathstroke began fighting the hostiles in the office and managed to take them all out as they said something to each other.

Floyd: And that's the end.

Slade: Goodbye, Floyd. Its nice knowing you.

Floyd: You too, buddy. Enjoy your retirement.

Meanwhile Alex took down seven hostiles as another inmate tried to attack him but the vigilante took down the hostile.

Suddenly the inmates were throwing molotov at the vigilante as fire began to ignite around the area but Ambrose threw multiple batarangs at the hostiles, knocking them out.

Another hostile tried to attack him but Alex grabbed him and hit a sacrifice throw, sending the hostile flying towards the wall, knocking him out.

Alex heard footsteps as he turned around and Penguin hit a powerful side kick which made the vigilante walk back as he was glaring at the villain.

Alex tried to attack him but Cobblepot hit a headbutt on the vigilante and punched him in the face before he hit a powerful clothesline, knocking the vigilante back on the ground.

Alex tried to get up until Cobblepot grabbed him and lifted him up before throwing him towards the table before he grabbed his leg and began dragging him towards the second table and lifted him up before he slammed him on the table.

Cobblepot wasn't finished yet as he picked up Alex and slammed him back first into the wall as he said something to him.

Cobblepot: You know what your problem is, Batman. Your unlucky, unlucky in life, in family, in love and now in death.

Alex gritted his teeth in anger and stabbed Cobblepot in the leg with a batarang as he was in pain before Ambrose hit a headbutt which made Penguin walk back as he glared at the vigilante.

Cobblepot tried to hit another clothesline on the vigilante but Ambrose ducked under the attack and hit a bicycle kick which broke Penguin's nose as he stepped back.

Penguin was angry and tried to attack the vigilante but Alex countered the attack.

Cobblepot was on the ground as Alex began punching him multiple times as Penguin was struggling to block the incoming attacks.

Alex gritted his teeth in anger as he lifted Cobblepot up and punched him in the face, knocking him out as he slowly got up and looked around the club while there was some fire behind him.

Fifteen minutes later

Mister Freeze who got his suit back was walking around the trophy room while the officers were looking around until they heard footsteps as Victor already knew who it was.

Freeze: Where is Cobblepot?

Alex's response was throwing Cobblepot to the ground as Oswald was in pain until he noticed Freeze and said something to him.

Cobblepot: Well, look who it it-

Freeze stomped on Cobblepot's hand as he began screaming in pain until Alex said something to Victor.

Alex: Enough, Freeze.

Freeze: Of course. . . . . . . [Looks at Penguin] You will regret what you did, Mr. Cobblepot.

Victor lifted Cobblepot up and threw him inside the cabinet display and closed the display as Alex said something to him.

Alex: The cure, Freeze.

Freeze: There isn't one.

Alex was shocked by what Freeze said to him as he continued speaking to him.

Alex: What?

Freeze: Perhaps I should elaborate. Creating an antidote to the disease that affected the clown was easy. Unfortunately the cure degrades too quickly. It needs a restorative element, some kind of reforming enzyme but without it, It breaks down before it can help the host.

Freeze showed a hologram of the cure as Alex was looking at the hologram and said something.

Alex: I've seen this before.

Freeze: Finding a suitable enzyme is not the only problem. It needs to be adapted, bonded to human DNA. That will take decades: time it appears you do not have.

Alex was staring at Freeze and was thinking about what he said until he said something to Victor.

Alex:. . . . . . What if I told you l know a man who has been exposed to that enzyme for centuries?

Freeze: Who is it?

Alex:. . . . His name is Ra's Al Ghul.

The assassin who was trapped in the cabinet display heard what Alex said as she was shocked and angry.

Freeze: Bring him to me. All I need is a sample of his blood. It is your only hope.

Alex: Ra's Al Ghul is dead.

Freeze: Then you and the clown are doomed.

Alex: Not exactly. I need someone to tell me where the body is. Then I can go wake him up.

The assassin began hitting the cabinet as Alex was turned around and stared at her until she managed to break through the cabinet and said something to the vigilante.

Assassin: You are not worthy to speak of the great Ra's Al Ghul!

The assassin immediately ran towards the window and escaped the museum as Victor said something to Alex.

Freeze: You are a fool, Batman. You have let your only hope escape.

Alex: No, Victor.

Ambrose saw a blood trail as he used detective vision to analyse the blood until he said something to Freeze.

Alex: If Ra's Al Ghul is in Arkham City. I now have a trail right to him.
