Reason/motivation for becoming an exorcist: Her mother was an exorcist. Her scars on her arms and across her chest is her temptaint, so she has always been able to see demons. She wanted to be just like her mother, and to help better the world.

Weapons: she has pistols just like her partner, (in fact they often "steal guns from each other's holsters during battle) and she also uses a bow with arrows doused in holy water. The bow can come apart and fold.

Why she likes him: Kishi has known Yukio for quite a while. They formed a very interesting relationship when they became Exorcist partners. He makes her feel safe and at ease. He's really the only person she relaxes around. She fell for his kind demeanor and handsome smile. She really loves it when he smiles.

Why he likes her: Yukio has always cared about Kishi from the beginning. He always felt like he, of all people, had to take care of her. The more he learned about her, the more he fell. He loves staring into her beautiful magenta eyes.

Backstory: On the Blue Night, her mother was in a prayer meeting. Kishi was barely walking at the time, so she was waiting with her father outside the church. Suddenly she heard cries of surprise and screams of hurt and fear, which caused her to peek in. One by one, the exorcists were being burned to death by a flame she knew all too well. She watched in horror before she heard her mother scream in pain. That sent her into full gear, running into the church and to her burning mother. She latched onto the woman, getting severely burned on her arms and part of her chest. Finally her father pulled her away and they miraculously escaped. He raised Kishi on his own, training her for a life he wanted her to live. The life of a distinguished business woman. He hated practicing exorcism, he thought it was pointless. Being a business man himself, he wanted to "protect" Kishi from an unfulfilling life. He did love his wife very much, so after she died, he fell into depression and turned to drinking to help him forget her. However this changed his attitude, and he became cruel and abusive towards Kishi whenever she did something wrong. One day when she was ten, she told her father that she wanted to be an Exorcist. But he didn't like that at all. He was infuriated. Kishi was so scared and done with her father's abusiveness that she ran away with her child hood best friend, Katsu. Eventually, Shiro Fujimoto found her and took her into his care. And that's when she met Rin and Yukio. She trained alongside Yukio to become a full fledged Exorcist, and eventually did. She then became his partner in exorcism.
