Rarity and Spike walked into the room, side by side (that was Spike's intention). and immediately noticed Rainbow Dash.

"Oh, why hello Rainbow. What are you doing here so late? Isn't it past your bedtime?" Teased Rarity.

"Pfft. I came here to clean any mess that was made when Twilight's window was left open. And now, I'm going through her books. You'll NEVER guess what I found!" She exclaimed. But then she thought better of herself. She did have a reputation for running at the mouth, but Twilight? That's just downright rude.

"Whatever have you found?" Rarity questioned, curiously.

"Uhh...I found..." Rainbow began, glancing around the room.

"Alright everypony, I made hot chocolate and I also found a spell that should help with the snow." Twilight proclaimed upon entering once more.

"Why not just use levitation?" Asked Rarity. "That usually does the trick for me."

"Well, yes, but I know that there's still going to be some snow left over and that would just drive me crazy," Twilight clarified. "I was just going to teleport it."

"But wouldn't that just teleport it piece by piece?" Rainbow asked, looking up to Twilight.

"Well, this is a special kind of teleportation spell, Rainbow. Designed specifically to clean up messes like this one, and a bit harder to use. But, essentially, say I were to get rid of the snow, then it would also teleport all of the snow within its vicinity. Thankfully, the spell cannot be done through walls, otherwise I'd be making a moat outside of my house," she explained. Rainbow was giggling a bit, causing Twilight to furrow he eyebrows and ask, "What?"

"Nothing," Rainbow Began. "You just turned a tiny little question into a lesson of magic for a pegasus," she said, still giggling.

"I beg your pardon," Twilight said with a hint of anger in her tone, which completely brought the laughing to an abrupt stop.

"Oh, no, I didn't mean it like that. I just meant like...as a joke. Sorry if I offended you, I didn't mean anything by it," Rainbow apologized.

"Ah, my bad, Rainbow," Twilight began. "I really shouldn't have done that anyway."

"No, it's not your fault," Rainbow protested. Twilight looked up right into her eyes. She winked at Twilight, now giving Twilight a turn to blush. She was going to continue, but decided not to take that step yet.

"Alright, so can we get our hot chocolate or are you just going to stand there, Twilight?" Said an impatient Spike.

"Yeah, Twi, we're freezing over here," agreed Rainbow, receiving a shocked expression from Rarity. "Er, Twilight."

"Oh, right. Sorry." Twilight quickly handed each of the ponies their drink, making sure to take the one that she'd already drank out of out away from the rest. After handing off the last mug, she was finally focused on teleporting the snow elsewhere. And to her surprise, the spell required very little energy, and she made a mental note to remember it in case anypony was in trouble.

Just as she was about to sit down next to the two, Twilight saw her studies and research books on romance laying out on her desk for everypony to see. She quickly closed the books and shoved them into the drawer, glad she could hide them before she was made a laughing stock in front of her friends.

Before Rainbow or Twilight could ask, Rarity answered for them. "So, I'm sure you're both aware that Hearts and Hooves day is next Thursday," she proclaimed. Rainbow only blinked in response, staring blankly at the white-coated unicorn. "Oh come on, Rainbow. You genuinely had no clue about it? What about you, Twilight? You've at least HEARD of Hearts and Hooves day, right?" She asked, hopefully.

"Well yeah, and so has Rainbow," Twilight reassured her.

"Wait, how would you even know that, Twilight?" Rainbow asked suspiciously, raising one eyebrow.

"I uh, it was just an assumption. I mean, everypony's heard of Hearts and Hooves day. It wasn't a false assumption though, was it?" Twilight found that when and if she lied, it was best to follow it up with a question to give the pony being lied to something else to think of.

"Er...no. I uh...I've HEARD of it, but...I just haven't...y'know, celebrated it," Rainbow confessed.

"Well, that probably means that somepony's going to have to teach you," Twilight said.

"And I have just the one for you," Rarity added, grinning.
