Hey, its been a while since I last updated this book, and the others. I got a little side-tracked with school lately. So have a lil something I wrote that includes Colle angst hahaaa-

This was inspired by the new The Owl House episode "Labyrinth Runners", so I think you know where this is going

" Colle! "

Colle didn't bother to lift his head, the purple glow on his eyes got brighter, the aura surrounded him like a shield gotten larger and the wind was pushing Seer away more. Sharp stood away from the energy, Beef with his sword down but raised his elbow over his eyes from the bright aura.

Beef quickly ran over to the Colle, inserting his sword in his scabbard and looked at Colle inside. He stopped after seeing the boy curling up in a ball and was shaking violently, his knees close to his chest and his hands over his ears. Beef raised his hand over to the aura surrounding the young Collector, his eyes quickly became purple and quickly pulling his hand away from the aura.

His view immediately bringing up bad memories of his past, during those times he was pushed away from his "so-called" friends and those worst days with his parents. He closed his eyes and ears from all those familiar voices running through his head. Beef started to shake and break down, kneeling to the ground as he tries to push those memories away.

" Beef! " Sharp immediately ran right next to the older Elite and patted his back, one hand holding the olders' as he tried to comfort him. Seer looked over to where Colle is, scared and worried for his friend from what he's suffering. Just as beef snapped out of the energy, he stood back a bit to catch his breath while Sharp tries to calm him down.

" This power, anyone who dares touch it would remember a memory that brings the person to having trauma. "

Seer's eyes widened from those words. Trauma? God if its that then he knows Colle is suffering bad after knowing what they've been through together. Man he doesn't even know if he was suffering early before the even met. " I'm going in. " Seer said as he ran towards Colle, one step in the energy shield he was brought with many memories of his past.

Another step in was the time he was in his mind from what Dread brought him into. Meeting his future and knowing he never had a light, he still dreads that it would happen in any second but right not his main focus was to save Colle.

A few voices filled his head while he tried to block them out, his eyes glowing purple as he viewed multiple scene of where his trauma started faded in his mind. The Steve he was reaching out was now in front of him, " Colle! Come on- " Just he reached his hand over the Red Steve's shoulder, he vanished, in panic Seer looked around again.

The scenes were gone, everything was white. He looked around and called out of his friend, a place of mountain was shown. A younger version of Beef, Sharp and some other Elites were in the background while his friend was near the edge of a cliff. Immediately Seer ran forward and called him.

" What is wrong with me? " Colle asked first before looking down on the edge of the cliff, frightened " I'm afraid of the little things that anyone can handle quickly. I'm so useless. " Colle said again before he started to shake.

" Colle! " Seer ran towards Colle, who disappeared again as he ran into him. The scenery became white again, but when Seer turned his head around, another scene was there. There stood the Collector, staring off to the destroyed structure that was once believed to the stadium in the Dessert Kingdom. Everything around the broken down stadium was burning with fire the atmosphere was all red as it was show the sun was setting.

" I let them all down, I failed to protect them, I broke their promise to protect them. " Colle uttered out before disappearing again into thin air. Seer became all confused from the visions he's getting, stopping before another scene was shown in the far right.

Colle in the position of how he originally was, 5 shadow clones of his friend surrounded him, their expressions filled with disgust and anger. " I couldn't even focus on being one for my Kingdom, I've been dragged into a problem and I dragged them too. I can't change the past anymore. " Colle opened his eyes as his purple pupils gotten brighter, closing them again as he disappeared along with the clones.

Seer turned his head around behind him, seeing Colle standing again, but after seeing what scene it was showing to where Colle was, he instantly knew that this was from the Demon Steve war. " If I changed my mind and never left the Kingdom, no one could get hurt, no one would be brought into a problem they shouldn't be involved. " Colle said as he turned around to Seer, his eyes still glowing purple but tears were forming on his eyes.

" I wish I could've got the apprentice role instead of being an Elite. I wish none of this mess happened, its all my fault. " Colle sniffled as he hugged himself with his arms, Seer's heart sank from what he saw. He walked over to the Collector, holding his hands out to the other's hands just to make sure if he's real. To his surprise Colle didn't disappear, which means he was facing the real Colle.

" No, I'm actually really glad that you didn't get the apprentice role. " Seer spoke up as Colle only looked down, turning his head away from the Rainbow Steve in front of him. " If you did, you wouldn't meet the biome steves, or, know the other chromatics. I guess you can also say.. me? "

Colle looked back up to Seer, still a frown on his face. " Don't blame yourself from what has happened. Things can go out of hand, some people might get invovled, but things can just go out of hand and we couldn't see it coming. "

" But, everyone got hurt because of me. " Colle muttered out as the scene of the Demon War appears around the two and continues to play.

The memory of The Leaders dying from the Last Inferno, Brimir sacrificing himself to block the gates by turning into ice while Winter Apprentice does the same, and Forest Steve burning into crisp while saving Innocent Orange and Leeroy. All the death scenes of how Colle saw them shocked Seer, the fact that these memories were so realistic, he knew that Colle had been suffering from remembering this day so much.

" I was also stupid to push away those I care the most. "

The scenery changed again as it played. From what can Seer tell, this was his dread. He remembered on how Colle would talked about what he saw in his head, shadow figured of his friends and the King, even from Forest and this Alex girl he was once told about. Whispers of their voices were heard, just as like Colle told him about.

" I don't even know if I can trust myself to hold a promise for all of them. I also don't want them to see me as a bad person. But at some point, I feel like its best for them to ignore me and move on. All of this was my faul- "

" No! "

The Red Steve's eyes widened in surprise from the shout, he felt his hands gripped tightly too. Looking at Seer, his head was ducked down from hearing him talk.

" Everything that has happened was never your fault. You would never meet everyone from where you are right now if you didn't get out of the kingdom. I know its hard for you really, but sometimes we can't keep up a promise for everyone, and we couldn't be even there for someone quickly, but we do had our reasons why but that doesn't mean you can't trust yourself for that. "

" Seer- "

" But YOU gathered the Biome and Red Elites to defeat the Last Inferno. YOU insisted to help Alex to get back to her world and managed to save Indigo Steve from his curse with Alex's help. YOU helped the Leaders get out of their heads from Dread's curse, and you even did it for yourself. And let's not forget on who called every Kingdom's help from the Demon Steves war. "

Seer looked up to Colle, mixed feelings of worry and joy, maybe relief. " You also kinda helped me let out this weight out of my shoulders, well we did argue from that time but I did wanted to let it out somehow. I guess talking to someone about your problems kind of help. " Realizing what he meant, Colle smiled, right now he was saying his problems to Seer right now because he insisted to help just like what he did for the Biome Steves.

" To be honest I still can't believe that we live in the same house in the Obsidian Citadel. I- I mean- not that I mind it and I understand that they were doing it for a reason. " Seer nervously backed off as what he said, he didn't want to change the topic no, but he blurted out the most random thing that came in his mind. " God why did I say that out of nowhere, oh gosh I'm so awkward all of the sudden, oh dear I'm sorry- haha- "

Colle chuckled from the stupidity and Seer joins in with embarrassment. Colle blinked a few times before his eyes become normal, his ruby eyes staring at Seer's diamond eyes. The scenery around them disappeared once Cole have calmed down, they were back in the library. Before a word could come out of Colle's mouth, he was instantly tackled by two Elites.

" COLLIE! "

" COLLE YOU'RE OKAY- THANK ORIGIN YOU ARE! "

The Collector stood there for a moment before hugging back for the two, looking at Seer as he mouth a small "thanks". Seer smiled, he was glad to help his friend a bit.
