Sharp snapped out from staring at his own dead corpse on the ground, now focusing on his other friend. He walked in front of Colle's view, grabbing his shoulders and started to shake his friend slowly. " Colle, wake up. This isn't real, me and Beef are alive! " Sharp's voice became louder when he tries to make Colle snap out of it.

But, Colle didn't move.

Sharp stayed silent for second to wait for any response, 3 seconds past and Sharp began to shake Colle even more. Beef turned to Colle and tried to snap him out, but still nothing. They can only see the trauma on Colle's face.

Both Red Steves were filled with worry for their friend. They don't know what's been going on for him. They even thought that Heights was his worst dread, guess they were wrong. They were still confused on what his fear is. Was it them dying for Colle? Colle hurting his own friends? They don't know.

Seer stood at the distance, trying to regain his position. he was still in shock from seeing the fake corpses. He took some deep breaths before walking back over to the three Red Steves. Seer saw the blood puddle and immediately looked away, if he chose to ignore it then everything will be okay.

" C-colle... " Sharp's voice was cracking, he stopped shaking Colle but his grip on his shoulders tightened " Please... just- any response... just to let us know you're still there... " Sharp's voice cracked and looked down at his feet was standing on the black void, tears was falling down from his cheek. Beef was also crying as well, but stayed silent and waited for Colle's response.

Sadly, they didn't get one.

Seer couldn't help it but to feel sad for them. Based on what Colle told him, Sharp and Beef were amazing friends to him after joining the Elite Academy, he wanted to be there for them more than anything. He still remembered that Colle would drop the role of being an Elite if it makes his friend happy, though unsure of it. He remembered that he would blame himself if one or both of them would get hurt physically and mentally cause he wasn't there to save them in time.

' Colle really cares about them. Maybe his fear was seeing his friends in pain... ' Seer thought. Then his head hits something. After seeing that Colle wasn't budging from the cries of his friends he only knew one thing. It was the same as the Ocean Leader's mind.

" Guys, I think I know what's going on with Colle "

Beef raised his head and turned to Seer " Seer- please, any information that can make Colle talk to us again would be fine. " His voice cracked after saying those words. Seer made his way to the Red Elites, he was now in front of Colle.

Lightning then started to strikes to Colle as a big white flash came into their view. As the lightning died down, all of them opened their eyes. The ground wasn't the black void anymore, so they thought they were somewhere else.

Once they lifted their heads, their eyes widened from the world they were all in. They were in the Red Kingdom, but everything was destroyed and was on fire. The market place and the houses are crumbling down, fire was placed on each destroyed building they see, no Red Steves were found around them.

" W-what the.... " Sharp trailed off from his words as a scream was heard in the distance. They all looked at each other, nodding and ran towards to where the scream was heard.

" I'm really confused about Colle's fear right now. "

" I am too Sharp, but we just need to find- "

Taking a right turn, they all stopped as they saw a Red Steve in front of their view and immediately stopped.

" COLLE! "

The Red Steve jumped and turned around immediately. Colle looked the same as they all saw him in the void. Red stains on his clothes, traumatized expression on his face along with tears, the iron sword on his hand with blood dripping on the edge of the blade. The only difference was that his clothes were torn and the diamond shaped earring he had was gone. They noticed that he was bruised up, on the face and on his arms.

" COLLE- T-thank Origin you're- " Beef stepped forward and Colle stepped back, his expression changes into fear.

" N-no! Stay b-back..! " Colle's voice trembled with the tone of fear, raising his free hand to stop Beef from coming to him. The Elites and Seer were in confusion, but they didn't move forward just to make Colle comfortable with the distance they have. " Colle! Its okay! We're here to get you out of here! " Sharp shouted but Colle took another step back, his hand gripping on the sword tightly.

" No-! Sharp please- I-... I don't want to hurt you! " Colle cried out before running away from them. Without a thought, they all chased him in worry and in confusion. They all know that Colle was trying to somehow protect them, but why? Colle would never hurt anyone, even the Elites.

" Colle stop please! "

He didn't listen, and kept on running. The chase ended as Colle ended up being between two burning buildings and a wall in front of him. He started to panic, turning each direction to find another way to run, but the only path he needs to go is where the other 3 steves are standing at.

Seer crouched and panted heavily, tired and stressed from the chase. Sharp did the same, while Beef stood and panted. " Colle! stop this, we're here to get you out of here. Dread Steve is slowly corrupting you " Beef yelled as Colle took some step backs, soon leaning on the stone wall in fear. He was trembling, he didn't know what to do.

" P-please... Beef- don't-.. come any closer- " Colle's voice was filled with fear after saying his words. Soon dropping on the floor on his knees, dropping his iron sword and wrapping his head with his arms. Colle was shaking, crying, muttering out different words that the 3 can't even hear.

Out of nowhere, a large shadow figure faded in front of them. Their body was full black at first, but when they turned their attention to Colle, it grinned. Lightning appeared on where that shadowy figure stand, soon to disappear as their body changed. It looked like Colle, but their color was grey. Once it opened their eyes, the iris was pure blood red.

Beef pulled out his sword and shield and stayed in position, while Sharp took some steps back to be next to Seer. The shadowy figure chuckled, staring at Colle with a grin " Awe, poor little collector... " Their voice sounded like Colle's but distorted. The shadow raised their hands as if they were about to fire at Colle.

But they didn't, instead a large shadow appeared below Colle. Void colored chains floated up and instantly chained Colle's body on the cobble ground. His hands were taken away from his head and was pulled down. Colle screamed in pain after pulling down even more on the cobble ground, then looked up in fear to the shadow clone of his, tears streaming down from his cheeks.

" Pathetic. " His shadow hissed and glared at the fearful steve in front of them. Slowly turning their head to face the the warrior of the Elites. Grinning, they started to talk " Its such a shame that your friend here is weak, oh origin if he should've choose to be the apprentice of your dear king then he wouldn't be in this position. " The shadow chuckled while motioning their hands on Colle.

Beef growled after hearing that, gripping on to the handle of his sword " WHO ARE YOU TO SAY SUCH THINGS AIGHT!? " Beef yelled at the clone, raising the blade to them and glare at them " Colle chose to be an Elite because he wanted to explore. He didn't knew this was gonna happen, neither do we. " Beef's voice raised, glaring as if he was sending daggers to the clone. Shadow didn't budge, just grinned even more as it turned more creepy.

The clone raised their left arm of their side, a giant black scythe appeared from the dark shadows below the clone. Pulling it with both of their arms in front of their body, Colle's eyes widened and looked up to his clone. 

He knew what was gonna happen. 

" NO! DON'T PLEASE-! L-LEAVE BEEF AND THE OTHERS ALONE! " Colle cried out, his voice was trembling as his expression of fear became worst.

Seer and Sharp took some step backs after hearing the clone laughed. Out of nowhere Shadow attacked Beef without any hesitation, but Beef blocked the attack from the scythe with his shield quickly. ' Oh Origin he's strong! ' Beef thought as he pushed them away and swung his sword, only to miss twice as the clone dodged it.

[AN: Note that I am very bad at writing fighting scenes since I never tried to make one.]

Colle was screaming in the distance. He couldn't do anything, he was chained down by the darkness, only to be forced to watch the fight to see who wins. The fight went to weapons to lightning, they fired some fireballs as well.

One shot of a fireball and Beef was knocked back into right side of the stone wall, he quickly raised his sword over his face as the scythe almost pierced into his face. Shadow was impressed that the warrior was still fighting, but it wasn't enough.

" FYGE MAKRIA TOU! (GET AWAY FROM HIM!) "

Shadow turned their head, only to get hit by a fireball on the face. They were thrown back to only be 2 blocks in front of Colle; who was still in tears. " Sharp! What are you doing?! " Beef yelled as he faced at his youngest friend, who still had their arm up from shooting the fireball. Sharp run over to his older and stood in front of him " Protecting one of the Elites, Aftó káno(That's what I'm doing) Beef! "

" Just stay near Seer, this fight is only between- "

" And let you get hurt by Colle's fear? Beef I understand that you wanna save him right now but I can't let you get hurt. "

Sharp turned to the Steve behind the shadow clone, his head was down and it was clear that he was panting heavily. Colle lifted his head up, his eyes were bloodshot from crying. He stared at Colle with the fear in his eyes and his breathing hitched. " Look at Colle, Beef, he was screaming for you guys to stop cause you might get hurt. And the fact that he said he doesn't want to hurt us. "

Beef thought before a moment, before his mind hits something.

" You don't mean- "

" He's afraid that we get hurt by him. This clone confirms that he is something that he fears. Going corrupted, start to kill everyone. "

" Heh, no wonder the Kingdom is on fire to turn into crumbles of dirt. I always have a that Colle would even at least try committing arson. "

Sharp turned his head at Beef and glared " This isn't the time for one of your jokes Bee- "

" SHARP LOOK OUT! "

Sharp was immediately grabbed and was brought down to the cobble ground by Seer, a fireball passing through above them. Colle's eyes widened from what he saw " SHARP! SEER! " He screamed, sounding a bit raspy from screaming for Beef earlier. Sharp lifted his head up, noticing that his monocle was broken in front of him.

" Sorry Sharp, but you talk a lot " Seer got up from his feet, reaching his hand down to Sharp to lend him a hand to stand. Sharp sighed, taking the monocle in front of him and then accepting Seer's hand. " So long for this gift... " Sharp muttered out before sliding the monocle to his pocket of his jacket.

" Guys- please... " The 3 looked over to Colle, his head was down and the chains were gripping on him so tightly that he winced in pain " Just go-... I don't care i-if I get corrupted by Dread, I-.. I don't want you guys-.. "

" No Colle. We're not leaving until we get you out of he- GAH! " 

Beef then was pushed back from the sudden  fireball shot at him. Sharp and Colle's eyes widened as they screamed Beef's name. Sharp and Seer immediately run over to Beef while Colle was trying to move from the chains, but no matter how hard he tried the chains would pull him down causing him to be in more pain.

Sharp kneeled down beside Beef and wrapped his arms underneath Beef's back and pulled him upwards " Beef you still there?! " Sharp raised his voice a bit, only to receive a small cough from Beef " I'm fine Sharpie, that fireball just caught me off guard. " Beef spoke up a bit and attempted to sat properly, reaching out for his iron sword beside him and glared at the shadow figure.

Seer stepped in front of the Red Steves and raised both of his hands, a sky blue mystical fire glowed on his hands and glared at the shadow. " Awe, how cute. The Blue Steve has finally joined the mayhem. " Shadow chuckled at Seer, making him angry as he let out a growl. " I've already joined after I met Colle, and I don't regret it. " Seer smirked then he attacked the shadow with blue fireballs.

Shadow dodged and reflected some, moving forward as they quickly jumped and raised their scythe to swing it their neck. Seer quickly moved only blocks away and avoided the other 2 Red Steves, he pulled  out his weapon his diamond longsword and quickly raised it over to his face as it blocked another attack from the scythe.

" Hm, faster than I expected... " Shadow hummed, jumping back only to attack again. Seer took a step back and raise his sword again, making a clanking sound as both blades hits. " Then expect more in our fight. " Seer smirked, clenching his free hand as a blue flame covered his whole palm and attempted to punch Shadow, surprised that he actually manage to hit him.

Shadow backed up, hissing as they raised their left hand over to the burn on their cheek where Seer punched them. They glared at the Blue Steve, shooting daggers through their eyes as Seer did the same. Without a minute pass Shadow sprinted to Seer again, raising their scythe and attempted to hit Seer, the results stays the same. Both of their attacks getting blocked with every swing of their weapons.

This gave Sharp and Beef time to run over to Colle and free him. " Colle! " The collector looked up as his friends kneeled down in front of him. His eyes widened as he saw the burnt clothing on Beef, he started to panic but Beef put his hands on his shoulder to calm him down. Sharp then held one of the black chains and tried to pulled them, but it was stuck in place.

Beef told Sharp to stay back as he raised his iron sword over his shoulder, waiting for Sharp to move to swing. Sharp moved away quickly as the sword swung pass him and hit the chains, only making a clanging sound but it didn't break. Beef did this multiple times but the chains didn't leave scratch where he aimed. He tried it on a different spot, near Colle's legs and the arms, but nothing.

" ACH GIA TO CHROMA (OH FOR CHROMA'S SAKE), WHY ISN'T THIS DOING ANYTHING?! " Beef yelled out, swinging his sword again to the chains, again, nothing. Colle shakingly looked up to Beef, seeing the frustration plastered on the older. Tears started to form on Beef's eyes, he dropped down along with the iron sword beside him, his hands on the ground as it kept him stable on his position.

" D-don't worry C-colle!- " The collector turned to his other friend, he was crying as well. Sharp pulled the chains a bit, gripping on it tightly " W-we're gonna-.. get you o-out- " Sharp manage to form his words as he cried. He pulled the chains again, Colle wincing in pain in the progress but nothing happened. 

" I-I'm sorry... " The two looked at Colle with a saddening look on their faces, trying to hold back their tears from what's been happening. " Maybe- maybe I should've took the Red King's o-offer... and be his Apprentice. " Their eyes widened from what he said. Beef placed his hands on Colle's shoulder and looked at him " No Colle, we're glad that you didn't. If you gave up on being an Elite then everything you did for everyone would just stay as boring as it be. " Colle looked up to Beef, as tired as he is right now he doesn't want to look away from his friend

" I mean, Biome Steves, that's cool. You helped the Desert Steves and promised them you'll get rid of the Last Inferno, and you did, with meeting up new Steves. Man if you haven't become friends with the Obsidian Captain then I would've train much better than what camp taught us  "

Beef chuckled softly, his smile was weak but it had emotions. Colle smiled a bit, turning to Sharp as he heard him sigh. Sharp wiped his tears before turning to Colle. " You did save me from being trapped in that abandoned library. If you haven't came back to the Red Kingdom to call for help I would've been stuck down there for who knows how long. " Sharp looked at Colle, placing his hand on the right cheek of Colle and caress it softly. " You did help me where to put up an Academy for once, I was happy for that since the Desert Steves needed some knowledge. "

Colle thought for a moment before he cried again. " But I risked everyone's life to be in danger, especially you guys. " Lightning strikes and explosions can be heard in the distance after Colle said his words, seems like the fight is getting a bit intense.

" And that's not your fault Colle " Sharp replied as he placed his other hand on Colle's left cheek as he wiped the tears away, turning his head slowly to face him " You know that you had to get some help somehow, even if takes someone's life away. "

Colle looked down then Sharp squished his face a bit, turning Colle's attention back to Sharp's " And no, Forest Steve didn't die because of you and Desert Apprentice risked his safety to help us. We had a talk about this Colle. "

Colle chuckled softly, bringing a soft smile on Beef and Sharp's faces " I still can't thank you guys for that, you guys are the best and I can't lose you like the others. "

" And you won't " Beef ruffled Colle's hair a bit. " Colle, we're the Red Elites. We now have experiences on how the world will go now. If any one of us gets in danger, we'll go zooming to save each other's butts. " Beef smirked and chuckled a bit.

" Kaló gia énan? (Good for one) "

" Allá kalýtera ótan ypárchoun treis. (But best when there's three.) "

" Awe, how sweet of you three could have a talk while I enjoyed my little game with Seer over there. "

The Elites jumped from the sudden voice, turning their heads as they saw the Shadow themselves holding their weapon behind him. Seer was lying down near a broken brick wall on the left, he didn't passed out but he was tired that he couldn't stand. Colle eyes widened, not from fear, just surprised on how Seer could even survive from his evil counterpart.

" DON'T COME ANY CLOSER! " Beef yelled as he picked up his iron sword, standing up as he blocked the path. Colle as afraid that Beef would end up like Seer, afraid that he might even die. Sharp wrapped his arms around Colle as he brought him near his chest, hugging him for protection.

Shadow Colle only chuckled " Its cute to see someone weak trying to protect the real villain, so why don't we HAVE FUN!- " Without a second to pass, Shadow sprinted to Beef and was ready to attack. Beef was also ready to block the attack but he felt something was odd.

" NO! "

A sound of glass shattering was heard and a clanging sound as well. Lightning strikes covered everyone's ears as they all shut their eyes from the bright light blind them. Beef slowly opened his eyes and they widened, seeing someone saved him from the attack. It was Colle, he was free from the chains, now holding a diamond Mage Masher as it blocked the blade of the scythe. His eyes were glowing, purest of ruby colored that anyone could've ever seen. His ruby diamond earrings was back on his ears, also glowing.

This took a surprise on everyone, especially on Shadow as he was pushed back in the amount of 5 blocks away from Colle. " I'm sick of crying for my friends safety, seeing them slowly die from getting hurt. It hurts so much that I can't do anything to save them if its too late. " Colle growled as he pushed his clone 5 blocks away. He held his weapon firmly in front of him, as he only focused on the clone " You, you're not me and you never will be. "

Colle sprinted forward, screaming s he raised his sword and swung it to the shadow. A bright light blinded everyone again as the sword pierced through the side chest of the shadow. Once the light was gone, everybody opened their eyes and was greeted with a blue sky above them. Everything wasn't on fire anymore, the walls weren't broken and the path where they all walked in was pure white as it looked like an endless abyss of nothing.

Colle was standing there, his breath was shaky. His clothes were back to normal as if they weren't torn in the first place, and there was no blood stains as well. The diamond Mage Masher was still on his hand, but dropped it afterwards. " Colle?... " Sharp called his friend who turned around to face him " Yeah Sharp? "

Sharp smiled as he stood up quickly and sprinted to his friend, giving him a tight hug as he buried his face on Colle's chest. Colle jumped from the sudden hug, but exhaled as he patted Sharp's rose colored hair. " COLLE STARTING TOMORROW I'M GOING TO VISIT YOU AT YOUR HOUSE IN THE DESERT KINGDOM EVERY AFTERNOON AND NO BUTTS! " Sharp shouted out as he cried a bit, it made Colle a bit embarrassed but smiled nonetheless.

Seer stood with his hand supporting his left arm, it wasn't broken but it had a lot of bruises and it was still able to hold the diamond Longsword. " You guys really do care about each other, you sure you guys aren't related? " Seer joked a bit, Colle quickly let go of Sharp and run over to the Blue Steve " Uh- sorry that you're like this now. "

" Nah, its fine. That was the best fight I had with anyone in my entire life. "

" I- WHAT?! "

Seer laughed from the sudden expression of Colle " Dude, if anyone like you would be in trouble I'd gladly risk my life saving them. " Seer punched Colle's shoulder slightly, silently wincing on the pain on his shoulder. Colle smiled and rolled his eyes, Sharp and Beef walking over to their side.

" Seer, I actually need to mention that YOU WERE ABSOLUTELY A MANIAC ON FIGHTING THAT CLONE! " Beef yelled out in amazement, clenching his fists as he brought them up and his expression change into admiration. " Eh, I wasn't that much of a fighter really. The World Beyond is just filled with good spirits and such. " Seer shrugged before putting away his longsword.

Sharp smiled and turned over to the bright pathway in front of them. Clearing his throat, he gained the others attention. " I think its time for us to get out of here, ain't that right guys? " He asked as they all looked at the pathway. Colle took a deep breath and stepped forward, facing the white abyss in front of him.

He looked at his friends as they waited for him to enter first. He took another breath, walking in the endless white void while the others followed him from behind. Lightning strikes on their path as the bright light blinded them.

Once the sound of the lightning died down a bit, everyone opened their eyes as they were back in Colle's room in the Desert Kingdom. Genesis stood up straight while Dream looked at the three. " Did you guys did it? " Dream Steve asked, their expression was in worry but changed to panic as they saw Seer was injured. " Seer what in the name of Origin happened to you?! " They exclaimed, Genesis eyes widened as they walked over to Seer's bruised arm.

" Long story short, managed to beat the demons of Colle but was glad that I survived "

Genesis quickly healed Seer's arm in 6 seconds, it was back to normal. It took Seer in surprise on how fast it was healed. A soft groaned filled the silence in the room, their attention turning to the Red Steve sitting up in the bed, his hands on his crimson colored hair. Colle opened their eyes a bit as he saw everyone in the room.

Not even saying a word yet, a door burst open and the sound of a loud slam gained everyone's attention.

" COLLE!!! " Goggles came into the room and sprinted over to his best friend. Jumping on the bed as he tackled Colle on top of him. Colle took some time before realizing who it was before hugging back " YOU'RE OKAY! OH THANK CHROMA! " Goggles cried as he hugged his best friend tightly, there was no way that Colle can get out of his grip now.

Both of the Red Steves sat up straight on the bed, Goggles puts his hands on Colle's shoulders and pushed him back a bit just to see his face " DON'T YOU KNOW HOW SCARED I WAS WHEN YOU DISAPPEARED?! " Goggles cried as he shake Colle slightly, Colle's ears was ringing from Goggles' pitched voice, but he didn't mind it really.

" I'm sorry Goggl- "

" SORRY ISN'T GONNA CHANGE ANYTHING " Goggles yelled as he hugged Colle again " I'M GOING TO VISIT YOU EVERYDAY JUST TO MAKE SURE YOU WON'T DISAPPEAR AGAIN " Colle felt like he can't even breathe cause of how tight Goggles hugged him. When he patted on Goggles back, he was immediately let go and took some deep breathes.

" You didn't have to hug me that tight you know? "

" I'm sorry, but please don't disappear like that again. "

Colle looked at everyone at the room, and smiled " Why would I if I have friends like you guys here? "
