My short story Flowers for Kate has been chosen to be part of romance publisher Black Velvet Seductions' Rainbow Desire anthology.

Writers, give yourselves a pat on the back for the hard work you put into your stories. Writing is a long process. I wish I can say it's an easy one but it's worth the reward when your manuscript gets past both the story editor and acquisitions editor with a publisher. 

When I have the edited sample chapter 1, I'll replace my very first draft chapter 1 (next chapter). From draft to editing to submission, then more editing, it's come a long way. But *as I'm cringing* you can see how the first draft of the first chapter is never the final.

Plus, it's a great feeling to hold a paperback copy of your own work once published.
