Here they were outside of the courthouse. Namjoon sobbing into Jungkook's chest. He didn't want to go in. He was scared of what would happen. They had already gone through the whole process and were waiting on the judge to make a final decision. That's when the two of them saw Jungkook's mother walk up the stairs and past them causing a ball of dread to sink deep into his tummy.

"It'll be ok baby" Jungkook murmured quietly picking up his omega and holding him against the stone fencing. The boys were with Tae and Yoongi while they were in court. "But it won't be! They are gonna take my babies away from me. I can't live without them" he whimpered as the alpha tried to soothe his worries with a kiss to his brow.

Jungkook looked at his watch and sighed softly "it's time to go in" he whispered kissing his nose. Namjoon nodded wiping his face and hopping off the fence.

"I fucking hate this" he grumbled all the way back to their seats.

Namjoon could hardly breath when the judge was speaking. Especially when he said Joshua would be getting supervised visits four times a month for three months and then the judge would re-evaluate.

He felt numb. Jungkook had to lead him home in complete silence. To the shower to clean up and then to bed. Jungkook went off on his own after the omega was tucked into bed to try and deal with his feelings alone so he wouldn't disturb his mate.

It was only 4 in the afternoon Joon realized and was already in pajamas sitting in bed. He needed to get himself together. Downstairs he heard a knock and realized it's probably the kids. He slid out of bed and walked to the end of the hallway and stopped hearing a female voice talking to Jungkook. He listened a bit and frowned longer before poking his head out and seeing the girl Jungkook was dating when he had left him. He pulled his head back around and held himself tightly listening to what they were talking about.

"Well it's your responsibility" she said

"No it's not. I didn't do anything. I never even touched you. Go find your baby daddy and leave me alone" Jungkook whispered frustrated "My mate is upstairs sleeping"

"It is yours" she insisted "why would I lower myself to show up here if it wasn't"

Namjoon sucked in a deep breath hoping to god that it wasn't his alphas baby. He wouldn't forgive him. He didn't think he had it in him. He couldn't love another child that was conceived in such a way. 

"Remember that night you got super drunk?"

"No? What night? What did you do? I didn't sleep with you" He said lowly "I wouldn't have"

"I have proof it's yours" she insisted. 

"What did you fucking do? Drug me?" Jungkook said his voice shaking. That's when Namjoon came out of hiding and walked up behind his younger mate and wrapped his arms around him kissing the middle of his back. 

Jungkook took in a few sharp breaths. He must have been black out drunk and she must have wanted him. Feeling his mate touch him calmed his nerves slightly. He wouldn't have slept with her since he was still in love with Joon. 

They were both silent for a moment as Jungkook's fingers threaded into Namjoon's as he held him. "Well anyways like I was saying. It's your responsibility and your mom wants you to do the right thing"

"Fuck this shit. Come back with proof" Jungkook said his shoulders tense. "I didn't  touch you and you left without a problem"

"You'll have to take care of the pup either way" she sighed as Jungkook slammed the door.

"Kookie" the older whispered softly as the alpha turned and hugged him hard against his chest.

 "I didn't do it. I didn't touch her" he cried into his shirt as he held him and kissed his head. "I promise. Not in my life. Maybe she- I don't know"

"I know baby" he murmured rubbing his back and hair leading him to the couch where they could sit peacefully. "But I don't know what happened either" his voice cracked looking out the window. It had started to rain again. It seemed a constant mood in this house. Grey skies without a chance of sunshine. 

"I'm so sorry" Jungkook kissed his head again and laid down resting his head against his chest.

 "I love you" Namjoon told him.

"Love you" he reciprocated emotionally drained.

The boys were back home with them but now it was different. It was like both parents would just break down and cry over anything and the toddlers didn't understand but would cry with them as they tried to get hugs.

"Daddy no cry" Jin said hugging Joons head tightly trying to calm his dad down. His large eyes looking around frantically for help. 

"I'm fine baby go play with your brother so he doesn't get lonely" he murmured.

That was how their days went and at night the mates would fuck to feel good for once in the day. Namjoon clawing at Jungkook's back demanding he go harder and faster or let him ride to do it himself. He wanted pain. It didn't help that it took longer for Jungkook to get aroused. It hurt even worse that the alpha wouldn't orgasm. He would look at the omega apologetically and tell him he was sorry.  He would place soft tiny kisses on his mate letting them fall back into numbness. Namjoon suspected that Kook never left the numbness. He felt ugly. 

"Hm?" The alpha hummed sleepily snuggling into his neck to place tiny kisses on his sweaty neck. 

"Did that other omega girl ever contact you?" He asked.

Jungkook stiffened and got up rolling to the other side of the bed. "I'm sorry but it's a serious question because if she really did what she said-"

"I didn't fucking cheat on you. How many times do I have to say it" he growled.

"I wasn't accusing you of that Kook. I was trying to say if she did what she suggested we need to do something about it" he said gently placing his hands on his back and pulling him close. "What if she took advantage of you?"

"Nobody would believe me" he said quietly. "And I would still have a pup with her"

"It's not your fault Kook. And we can't let her get away with it. She will try to make you marry her" he said quietly. Jungkook felt a pang in his chest he hadn't even offered to marry Joon yet because he felt like being mates was enough.

"I would never. You and the boys are my family" he said turning around and kissing his forehead. "I'll see what I can do" he murmured softly. "besides you're my mate. I can't ever leave you"
