Virgil watched the main street as people bustled by, not paying attention to the still soaked man in an alleyway. It had been a few days - he had lost count - but with little to no sunlight, the water just wouldn't dry.

He couldn't help but feel... alone. No one in the world other than his Pop knew he was kicked out. No one in the world knew he was where he was.

Homeless.

And frightfully alone.
