Agnes,

You looked gorgeous on our high school Prom. Your blue dress swayed to the beat of the music. I was probably the happiest guy there, not because you actually agreed to be my date for the night, but because you were beside me. I still can't believe how Yuri could have just dumped a girl like you two days before prom, who does that? Seeing him at the dance made me rage in fury. I couldn't help but noticed you glancing at him many times throughout the night. Your eyes held sadness, but then when you looked at me, you looked so happy. As if you won the lottery. I vowed to never see you upset. Because when you are, your whole body looks frail and vulnerable. So that night, I asked you to be my girlfriend. I know it was a little too soon after your breakup, but to my surprise, you agreed.
