I bumped into your dad today. He asked how I was holding up. I answered him with an okay. But parents always seem to have some sort of a radar going through their mind. So he invited me for some coffee at the new coffee place. We talked about everything. I know you didn't have the best relationship with him, but I could tell that he's trying to keep it together as well. You should see the way he goes distant every time he talks about you. He loves you dearly and wishes you back. I can't imagine how your mom is.
