Aaaaargh I am highly irritated, I don't know who is the architect of this building. I am reaching the same place again and again.

I am not at all getting where is the B block and in that I have to check my allotted flat that is 999.

I am drained out of energy , I found a girl wearing pink salwar nearing me.

Excuse me I am Lakshya Maheshwari, I am searching B block can u help me out please.

I introduced myself and she slowly removed her earphones, aaargh y didn't I see that? I have to introduce myself again??

L " OK I am "

Girl " I heard ur intro, don't worry I will help u.Follow me"

Wow!! Finally I got someone...

L " uff, thanks for agreeing to help me out, I don't know how u r leaving in this locality, I didn't find anyone roaming here and those who I met they didn't even look at me. "

G : Room number?

L " 999"

She just nodded and I took a minute to examine her. She is really beautiful!

She took me to a large building and entered inside lift along with me.

OK... Hope so she is not the killer I am looking for. Mummyyyyy did she find I am an agent and decide to kill me silently!

God! Why am I acting like this?

I have successfully completed so many missions.

I have been called as the toughest man in the department but now y am I behaving like this?

The reason is this is the first time I have to stay and look into the matter. The cases which I have solved earlier were like mind games. Thinking all the possibilities and finding the culprit, even if I stay I would have wrapped within two days. But this time it may be a week or a month. As we have to start from the scratch.

The lift made sound and I took my suitcase and followed her.

Girl " here is ur flat"

L " I don't know how to thank u... "

She smiled widely. Aww what a smile.

She stretched her palm forward.

I raised my eyebrows.

Girl " what have u thought huh? That I will leave my work for someone I don't know just for thanks? "

OK so what does she want from me?

She stepped forward and I stepped backward.

Girl "urs flat number is 999, we almost took 99 floors, I should reach my block then my floor then my flat"

I am getting headache.

L " so? See I just asked u to show the block but u urself brought me to my flat? And I haven't even opened my flat door and I... "

She glared me and I closed my mouth.

I gave her hundred.

I took hundred and gave her 500 and this time she smiled.

Girl" what r we waiting for? "

She took the keys from my hands and opened the flat door by herself.

Great start.

Girl " arey why are u still at the door? Get inside, make urself comfortable "

I smiled fakely.

Girl " let me help u to unpack ur clothes "

L " no need for that. I don't want someone to go through my things above that I don't want to lose another 500"

Girl " it's humanity to help each other"

She sat on the sofa.

What should I do to make this headache leave?

I looked around the flat and took water bottle from fridge. My team has filled my fridge. Nice!

I dropped the water bottle.

And Ms. Headache started to laugh.

I turned towards her.

L " what was that? "

I asked sternly.

Girl" hello Mr.Handsome don't give me those looks. I am a future journoulist. It's not easy to scare me "

Should I be happy that she called me handsome or should I cry seeing my strict face is not working on her.

L " what will u take vacate my flat?"

Girl " I will surely leave ur place but after showing u something and let me tell u it will cost another 500"

L " I don't have energy to roam now, it's almost evening and please I need to rest "

She pouted.

I rolled my eyes.

I just want her to leave.

I nodded and she squealed making me half deaf.

She held my hand and dragged to the corner door. I didn't see the flat properly.

I think this will lead to balcony and I was right.

The view was really beautiful, I can see the sunset.

I just nodded.

I gave her the amount and she said bye bye.

She smiled sweetly.

She jumped from my balcony to the other balcony.

L " why did u jump to someone else balcony?"

Her flat is on the same floor, same block then why did she say such a big dialogue?? Obviously to loot me.

She was turning around to go inside her flat.

L " wait "

She raised her eyebrows.

L " what's ur name Ms. Headache? "

Girl " why should I tell u? "

I glared her.

L " how about another 500?"

G " Aww, u know me so well "

Girl " my name is Ragini "

Ragini, nice name.

She stretched her hand from her balcony to mine.

R " give me my 500"

L " well I agreed to give 500 but did I say I will give u now? "

R " u cheater! "

L " that's my other name "

She was burning while I was aww seeing her red cheeks.

I got a map and details about this area and blocks. Why can't they hand it over to me earlier, it would have saved my energy, time and not to forget my 1000Rs.

But I must say she is really cute.

I heard a knock.

Who is at this hour?

I opened the door only to find Ms.Headache.

L " came here to rob me again? "

She showed me her pearls and before she could answer someone pulled me into a hug.

R " Papa leave him"

She whispered.

I am Shekhar. I was so happy that I got a neighbor.

I just smiled and he came inside my flat pushing me.

Shek " y r u still sticking to front door? Get inside "

I have a doubt. Who is the guest here?

He started talking and I got to know he is a poet and lost his wife last year. Ms.Headache is his life and he really wanted someone to occupy this flat and seeing handsome hunk like me staying next to his flat made him super happy.

R " Had dinner? "

I blinked my eyes.

Is she asking me?

R " yeah, I am asking u only"

L " No I caught up with some work so I didn't see the time only"

Shek " u shouldn't be working for this long! "

She went out of the flat leaving me with her hungry father who was chewing me with his questions.

For god sake I am an officer I interrogate others not the other way round.

Shek " so u r a businessman? "

I just nodded. Yeah I am businessman.
It's the cover to my agent work. Most of the office works Papa will only look after I will just attend the important meetings.

Shek " even I have heard about Maheshwari industries. "

I just nodded.

She came inside the flat balancing four utensils and started to arrange on the dining table.

L " It's fine... I... I was about to order anyway "

Shek " it's not good to eat from outside always. It's ur first day here, let's celebrate "

I smiled at him.

No one cared for me.

From the time I have taken this job Papa is angry on me and my mother she doesn't care about me. She is a well known fashion designer.

Shek " Ragini has cooked all these"

Her father went to wash his hands while I moved near her and whispered.

L " hope this will not cost me another 500"

She chuckled.

R " well if it was in my hands I would have... But consider it as a treat from my Papa's side "

I laughed at her words.

We started having dinner and her father is really a happy go person.We three laughed together and smiled.

L " I will wash the utensils and return them"

She glared at me and took the bowl I was holding and went inside the kitchen.

Shek " it's OK Lakshya. If my daughter decides something then she won't let it go"

We sat down on the sofa.

He asked about my life.

This question actually surprised me.
I don't know how to answer to that but I managed somehow.

Shek " I work as a editor also. I stopped writing poems after my wife died in an accident. U know I was in depression but it was my daughter who made me laugh again. She is a bubbly girl, though she has lost a motherly figure in her life she became a mother to me those days."

He chuckled.

He nodded and hugged me tightly again. But this time I hugged him back tightly.

A month later....

This case is really getting on my nerves.

We have suspected this area because the murder that took place was nearer and above that there was CCTV footage which led that person to this regoin.

I have looked all the blocks footage either that person has to be from A or B block.

Other blocks are really far though it is in the same boundary.

What to do?

I didn't get any clue.

I heard a sound coming from my balcony I looked towards the door and saw her.

L " can't u knock at my front door? "

R " that will not be interesting "

I sighed.

R " what happened?"

She sat beside me.

I know she cares for me. In this whole month she has cooked dinner for me also and her father always cheered me when I was literally confused.

R " look at me Lakshya "

Her soft whisper made me to look at her.

R " I don't know what's ur problem. But don't give up. Try looking at all the possibilities. If one for closes try to open another one"

She smiled at me.

She looked beautiful and her words made her look even more beautiful if possible.

If my department hear my thoughts then they will surely laugh at me.

I looked at the papers in my hand.

She is a resident here!

Shall I share the matter with her?

L " can u get two glasses of water from the kitchen? "

She nodded and went inside kitchen.

It's her flat more than mine.

I chuckled at my thoughts.

I drank one glass of water and she forwarded another one.

L " that's for u "

R " but I don't need t...."

L " sshhh.... U will need once I tell u who I am and what I am doing here "

L " speak something! "

R " so u r agent + businessman?"

I nodded.

She took a deep breathe.

R " but u told ur office is near from here so u shifted here"

L " that is also true. Because this was near to my office and even headquarters "

She nodded.

R " so u will leave this place once u finish ur work? "

I nodded and she gulped.

L " I don't have any other reason to stay here"

She nodded.

L "OK so back to work, do u know someone who is acting strange these days? Anything in this past one month? "

R " No... Infact we all r like a family here."

She took the papers I was working on.

R " this date??"

L " why r u lost? "

R "on this date there was a party organized here by the owner "

L " but about this party no one mentioned when it was enquired. R u sure? "

R " yeah.... Each and every person was here. Even I attended"

L " something is fishy here..... Why we didn't get any footage of the party or any info about that? "

She closed her eyes.

L " try to remember if someone doesn't attend? Why didn't the building owner didn't inform us? May be he thinks that this will get the bad impression on his building and try avoiding investigations or something. "

R " or he knew who is that person"

She stated strongly "

L " what do u mean? "

R " that night someone bumped into me and I saw blood in his hands and on pants. He told me he met with an accident on the way but didn't go to hospital as he don't want to miss the party"

L " so who is that person? "

R " owner's son Vikranth "

So that's the catch here. That's why owner has shut everyone's mouth not to give info about party, because we will try to get the footage is party.

L " I will surely look about him and by the way u r so smart and thank u for solving this mess "

I hugged her tightly then I realized what I did.

I was about to break the hug but she hugged me back.

It's almost three months to the day he left after completing his work with success but why did he come in my life if he was just temporary.

I fell for him the first time I saw him roaming here and there looking for the blocks.

His cute expressions, the way he tried to intimidate me I.... There was no way not to fall for him.

I heard Papa talking to someone in the hall.

I entered and they became silent as soon as they spotted me.

Any secret??

There was a couple sitting next to Papa.

Shek " they came here to ask ur hands for their son "

My throat went dry.

Papa was seeing matches for me. But I never thought he was this serious.

Shek " their son wants to marry only u "

R " papa but I.... "

I heard a knock and saw HIM.

What is he doing here?

He stood in front of me and rubbed his nape.

R " what brings u here? "

L " I got the reason why I should stay here"

L " the reason is u "

He kneeled down and held 500Rs in his hand.

L " I don't say extra cheesy things. I am in love with Ms. Headache, so will u accept me?? "

I closed my mouth with my palms.

R " think wisely! U r going to handle this headache thought-out ur life "

I hugged him tightly and everyone clapped.

Then only I got to know they r good parents.
