Lucifers pov

We were walking down the streets together. We were supposed to go out for some food, drinks and jazz (they forced me to go along with it!). Basically just a chill family day but then..

"Look mama a park!" Marie pointed excitedly "can we stop for a bit mama? Please please please!"

"Now marie we have a plan we need to stick to" alastor said gently.

"Oh we have plenty of time before our dinner reservation" I waved him off "we can stay for half an hour"

"Yay!" Marie happily ran up to the slide.

"You really are a doting partner" alastor chuckled as he sat down on the bench with me.

"Well it's good to see her happy. She deserves to feel like a normal kid" I smiled softly.

"I suppose it is important for her to be around children her own age" alastor nodded before turning to a nearby ice-cream truck "would you like an ice-cream? It'd be my treat"

"Yeah that'd be nice" I smiled, touched by his sudden kindness. He nodded as he grabbed me a vinella ice cream cone. We sat together, licking the cone blissfully while we watched marie play.

"Daddy daddy look how high I can swing" Marie swang as high as she could.

"Lovely darling. Here let daddy help you" alastor tapped his cane, summoning some shadow tentacles to push her higher. Marie squealed excitedly as she practically flew through the air. I giggled softly as I watched with an amused smile. What a guy!
