Being famous had the facade of a glamorous lifestyle, filled with riches, fans, mansions, big cities, etcetera. Fame equaled validation, fame equaled love, fame equaled happiness.

Annalise Garcia would be the very first person to object to the fact that fame was the glamorous lifestyle that everyone envisioned when they thought about fame. Sure, being famous had benefits. Fans were sweet (though some were ballistic), money wasn't a major issue (if you were stacked with roles, that is), validation was present (unless you had mental health issues behind the scenes). However the one thing that Annalise Garcia was never able to find the benefit of the doubt in was love.

If you wanted to be famous, a major curveball would be thrown into any plans you made about "finding your soulmate" or whatever "love bullshit" you believed in (as Annalise would put it). See, it wasn't that Annalise Garcia was 100% against celebrities being in a relationship. It was just that the last relationship she was in went completely sideways.

After three months of teary-eyed affirmations, comfort from her friends, and three months of healing, Annalise Garcia had managed to convince herself that public relationships were a failure, especially if you were famous.

Then, just as filming wrapped up for Anna's last role, her friend had decided to randomly add her to a group chat, where Annalise met Louis Partridge; someone who would change Annalise Garcia's entire view on relationships.

SPECIAL DEDICATION so before i get in to the absolute chaos that this fic is probably gonna be, i want to give a special dedication / shoutout to my sister. i really hate talking abt my personal life here, but when i had the idea for this fic, i literally immediately wanted to write an oc based off of her, because she deserves it and she has a cool personality that i wanted to see in an oc. she's also helped me with small ideas for this fic-which i rlly needed so ty for that. but overall, i want to give a special dedication to her, because i couldn't have asked for a better sister (her acc is Bread_Person_11111 go follow shes harmless <3)
