Three Weeks before the F1 Summer Break

Los Angeles, California

Under the California sun, Y/N ventured into the bustling streets of Los Angeles, a city of dreams and hidden corners. With the intent to explore real estate options, he looked to keep this endeavor discreet, a secret mission away from Hailee's knowledge

In the heart of Beverly Hills, Y/N stumbled upon a gem that surpassed all expectation, an Italian villa that seemed to be plucked from the pages of a romantic novel

Standing in the midst of this enchanting villa, Y/N could see a shared future with Hailee, the dogs weaving through the gardens, and perhaps the joyful echoes of little ones. It was more than a house; it was a promise of a life well-lived

After touring

Realtor: Mr. Specter, I hope you've enjoyed the tour of this exquisite Italian villa. It truly is a gem. Now, let's talk about the numbers. The asking price for this property is 25 million dollars, and we can discuss any potential negotiations or adjustments you might have in mind.

Y/N: I'll take it.

The Realtor smiles

Realtor: Excellent choice, Mr. Specter. We can sign the paperwork and congratulations on your new home!

After that, Y/N drives his rental vintage Jaguar to Hailee's parents' house with the Villa's keys in his possession ready to ask them a very big question

The door swings open and Cheri looks at Y/N with a confused look

Cheri: Y/N? What are you doing here?

Y/N: Can I come in?

Cheri: Sure, sweetie.

He gets in the house and is also welcomed by Pete

Y/N: Cheri, Pete, thank you for having me. There's something important I'd like to discuss with both of you.

Cheri and Pete exchanged curious glances

Y/N takes a deep breath, a mix of nervousness and determination in his eyes.

Y/N: I've found a place, a beautiful Italian villa in Beverly Hills. I was hoping to ask for your blessing to invite Hailee to move in with me. It's not just a house...it's a home where we can start a new chapter together. Your blessing would mean the world to both of us.

He taps his foot nervously, waiting for their reaction

Cheri looks at him and smiles

Cheri: Y/N, dear, you've been a part of our extended family for quite some time. We've seen the love between you and Hailee. And if this is a step you both want to take, then you have our blessing.

Y/N then looks at Peter, who nods at him and smiles

Pete: Take good care of our girl, Y/N. We trust you both to build a beautiful life together.

Cheri: Just a question. Does she know about this?

Y/N: No, not yet. That's why I came to you guys. And thank you. I promise I'll make her a very happy woman. And please don't tell her, I'm planning on doing this in Hungary in a couple of weeks.

Pete: Sure, bud.

With the blessings of Hailee's parents, Y/N felt a newfound sense of confidence as he prepared to embark on this next chapter of their journey together

Returning to the hotel where he was staying, Y/N couldn't contain the excitement that pulsed through him after receiving the blessings from Pete and Cheri. 

Donna was waiting for him in the hotel lobby, and as their eyes met, Y/N couldn't help but break into a wide smile

Harvey stayed in New York to deal with some things, so he couldn't travel to LA

Donna: You're gonna ask Hailee to move in with you, huh?

Y/N: Wha- how did you know?

Donna: I'm Donna, I know everything.

Y/N sighs

Donna: I'm so proud of you, honey.

Y/N: I thought you were going to be sad. You know, with me moving to the West Coast.

Donna: Can't say I'm not. But we can visit you guys any time of the week. And you can visit us if we get busy. But I'm happy. Happy that you're finally doing what you want. And I'm sure Hailee will say yes.

Y/N: I hope so.

Donna: When are you gonna do it?

Y/N: Hungary...before the Summer Break

Donna: I wish you the best of luck, sweetie. And one more thing...

Y/N: What is it, mom?

Donna: Are you going to pop the question too?

Y/N smiled in response to Donna's question but shook his head gently

Y/N: Not now, Mom. We're taking one big step at a time. Moving in together is a big enough leap for now. But maybe...who knows in the future after a couple of championships?

Donna hugs her son 

Donna: Then go and be happy. We'll be here for you.

Hungarian GP, Last race before the F1 summer break

Y/N was having an intense race, struggling for pace and his engine was having power issues

The race took a dramatic turn when in a heart-stopping moment, Y/N's tire exploded, sending the car into an uncontrollable spin. The impact was inevitable, and the car crashed, triggering a wave of worry among spectators, team members, and especially Hailee

"And that is a big crash! Y/N Specter suffered a nasty crash. Let's hope it's nothing too serious, Martin."

The track marshalls rush to Y/N's aid to get him out 

Rob, his race engineer checks on him

Rob: You okay, mate?

Y/N: I got gravel on my hair, but I'm good.

Rob: Thank God. Just get out of there and come back so you can go to the medical center later.

After that, Y/N is helped out of the car and heads back to the team garage

When he gets there, Hailee looks at him with tears in her eyes and goes straight to hug him

Y/N: Hey...it's okay. I'm okay, see? Just got gravel on my hair. Nothing sinister.

Hailee: I know...it just looked scary.

Y/N: I promise I won't scare you like this ever again.

Hailee: You better.

After that Y/N changes into his normal clothing, goes to the medical center in the track before finally leaving with Hailee to the hotel

They decided to stay in for the night and eat in the hotel's restaurant

When they go back up to their room and Y/N decides to ask the question he's been wanting to ask ever since they got to Hungary

He pulls out a small box from his back pocket and shows it to Hailee

Y/N: Don't freak out...

He opens it and it reveals the key to the Villa in Beverly Hills he had bought 

Hailee: What is this?

Y/N: It's a key...to an Italian Villa in Beverly Hills. I want you to move in with me. What do you say? And before you say anything, your parents gave me their blessing and my parents are cool with me moving to LA.

Hailee looks down at the key, shocked

After a pause that felt like an eternity, Hailee's eyes welled up with tears, but a radiant smile broke through. She nodded, her voice filled with emotion

Hailee: Yeah...Yeah! I'd love to.

And just like that, they kissed, knowing what they did was a huge step on their relationship

Some days later...

Los Angeles, California

Inaugurating their new home, Y/N and Hailee are celebrating with their friends and family 

The guest list was long

Penelope, Max Verstappen's stepdaughter was feeling dislocated in the party, so Y/N goes to Olivia to ask a favor from her

Y/N: Livvy, sweetie.

Olivia: Uncle Y/N!

She rushes over to Y/N and hugs him

Olivia: Is it true you'll be living here?

Y/N: Yes it is, honey. Me and your aunt Hailee are living in this big house.

Olivia: Yay!

Y/N: I need a favor from you. You see that little girl over there?

He points to Penelope, who was very close to her mother, Kelly

Olivia: Yeah...what about her?

Y/N: I want you to keep her company. Take her inside the house and play with the dogs. Cool?

Olivia: Okay...

He and Olivia approach Kelly, Max and Penelope

Y/N: Thank you so much for coming, guys.

Kelly: We appreciate the invite, Y/N. This is a beautiful place.

Y/N: Thanks. Anyways, this is Olivia. She wants to take Penelope inside and play if that's cool with you

Kelly: Actually, I was already going inside. So they can come with me and I'll keep an eye on them.

Y/N: Alright, then. Have fun.

Kelly takes the girls inside and Y/N jokes with Max

Y/N: Damn...never thought you'd be a girl's dad.

Max takes a sip of his Heineken and laughs

Max: Well...at first, it took me some time to get used to, but now me and Penelope are very close.

Y/N: I'm happy for you, man.

Max: Thanks, by the way, this house is way too big for you, Hailee and the dogs. Are you...planning on making it more crowded?

Y/N chuckles

Y/N: One day, Max. We got our lives and our responsibilities. One day we'll talk about it.

In the kitchen, Hailee was making some drinks with her mom when she hears familiar voices

Ella and Mick had arrived

Cheri's eyes widen looking at Ella's five month pregnant belly

Cheri: Oh my God! 

Ella: Hey Mrs. Steinfeld.

Hailee rushes to her and hugs her

Hailee: You look so good! How far are you guys?

Mick: Five months.

Hailee: Mom, this is Mick. Him and Ella are together

Cheri: Mick...Schumacher?

Mick: Yes ma'am.

Cheri: Wow...you look a lot like your father. Congratulations on this new chapter of your lives

Mick: Thank you. Is Y/N around?

Hailee: Uh...yeah, he's talking to Max by the pool.

As Ella and Mick made their entrance into the backyard, the lively chatter and laughter seemed to momentarily hush. All eyes, curious and welcoming, turned toward the couple. However, the focus, understandably, shifted to Ella's baby bump, a visible testament to the new life growing within

Max then looks at Y/N, confused 

Max: Is Mick...

Y/N: Yup.

The people in the gathering congratulate Mick and Ella

After that, Mick goes over to Max and Y/N

Y/N: So...I guess it's not much of a secret, huh?

Mick: Well, we couldn't keep hiding it for much longer, so we decided to do something about it. 

Max hugs him tight. His family was always close to Mick's ever since Jos Verstappen got paired with Michael Schumacher at Benneton in the late 90s to the early 2000s

Max: I'm so happy for you, mate.

Mick: Thanks...we got blessed.

They all look at Ella, who was receiving some belly rubs from Florence

Max: When did it happen, if you don't mind me asking?

Mick: We met each other at that party in Miami in February in the preseason, we talked a lot, shared a couple of things and...we went back to my hotel room. Next thing I know, after the race in Miami, she tells me this.

Y/N couldn't resist teasing Mick about the countdown

Y/N: You're counting the days until the baby comes, aren't you?

Mick: All the 120 remaining.

After that, Lando comes towards them and hugs Mick from behind

Lando: Future father of the year! How you feeling, mate?

Mick: Honestly? Scared shitless. But if there's one thing I know is that the baby isn't even here and there's not a single thing I wouldn't do for it.

Lando: Do you guys know the gender yet?

Ella creeps up on Mick, scaring him in the process

Ella: We were thinking about having a gender reveal party, but Hailee told me we could share the big news with everyone here. We already told our families and they seem...pretty thrilled. Mick?

Mick: Well, let's just say...it's a Michael.

Max: You mean...

Mick: Yeah...we're getting a boy.

Y/N, unable to contain his excitement, took the announcement to a new level

Y/N: IT'S A BOY!

Y/N screams at the top of his lungs so the people at the party should know.

 The revelation was met with cheers, applause, and a wave of congratulations, solidifying the shared happiness among friends and family

Y/N: I'm very happy for you, man. I think you deserve a reward for this.

Mick: What rewa-

Y/N pushes Mick into the pool

Mick, emerging from the pool with a mix of surprise and amusement, joined in the laughter 

Y/N decided to join Mick in the pool, so he jumps in, fully clothed and people laugh

Donna and Harvey were near Jessica, Jeff and Pete in the backyard watching the scene unfold

Jessica: He never changed, huh?

Donna shakes her head

Donna: Nope...still an overgrown child.

...

A couple of hours later, some guests leave and now the only people in the house are Y/N, Hailee, Liam, Greer, Tom, Zendaya, Mick, Ella, Max, Kelly and Penelope, who was sleeping in her mother's arms

Tom notices the huge piano in the living room and decides to ask

Tom: Who in here plays the piano?

Y/N: Me...

Tom: Play us something, then. Come oooon.

Y/N: Fine. Haiz...help me out here?

Hailee smiles

Hailee: With what?

Y/N: City of Stars.

As the song starts, the other couples in the room look at Y/N and Hailee with smiles on their faces, amazed by their chemistry
