Hiccup and the gang left the Edge and headed to Dragon Hunter island. Trader Johann heard some disturbing news and told the riders immediately. The riders were told that the hunters was going to ship a cargo with newly built weapons and a new shipment of dragons. It was the riders top priority to rescue the dragons and destroy the weapons. Viggo's base came into view and the riders grew determined.

"Alright gang were just going to surveillance the base and see what their up to. Then we will see if we can help those dragons." Hiccup said. The riders nodded and took off different directions to surveillance the island. Hiccup took a deep breath. Toothless sensed his friends uncertainty and cooed, hiccup smiled. Hiccup and Toothless looked at the south side of the island. They landed near a forest and walked up to a cliff that had a view of the whole island. Hiccup got down low to the ground and grabbed his spy glass.

"Ok Viggo what are you up to?!" Hiccup said looking through his spy glass. Hiccup moved his spy glass left and right until he found something that caught his eye. Lines of dragon proof cages were lined filled with terrified dragons. The cages were everywhere. There seemed no end. Hiccup gasped. He never seen so many cages and dragons before. Hiccup felt guilty and sorrow for the poor dragons. He slammed his fist against the cliff and looked around. He needed something to lure the hunters away from the cages, but he needed to wait for his friends to come back from patrol. Toothless growled and hiccup stood up in alarm.

"What is it bud!" Whispered hiccup. Everything went quiet and still even the trees were still. Toothless growled louder and walked closer to Hiccup. Hiccup's nerves were going more alarmed by the second. Then an arrow sliced through the air and barely missed hiccup if he didn't move in time. Hiccup covered his head with his hands in complete shock. Hiccup looked around the forest to find the source of where the arrow was fired. A shadow moved crossed the trees and hiccup took a step back. Who ever this was he was fast! The figure stopped and turned facing Hiccup and Toothless. Toothless wrapped his tail around his rider and growled daring the figure to move closer.

The figure then disappeared just as quick as it showed up. Hiccup and Toothless exchanged glances in complete surprise. "You saw that bud right?!" Hiccup said shocked. Toothless nodded frantically. Hiccup and Toothless jumped when he headed the gang land near him.

"Hiccup chill its just us!" Astrid said raising her hands. Hiccup let out a sigh and nodded. Tuffnut walked up next to Astrid.

"Hiccup you look like you seen a ghost." Asked Tuffnut. The gang nodded. Hiccup just nodded his head no. He didn't want the gang to know just yet.

"I'm fine Tuff but you need to see this!" Hiccup said pointing downward by the edge of the cliff. The gang walked up and got down to the ground and gasped. Horror filled their eyes at what they saw. Dragons all scared and filled with scars. The desperate cry for help. The gang felt their hearts being stabbed multiple times and slamming a mace as the final blow.

"What are we waiting for! We need to help them!" Heather said already mounting Windshear. Hiccup waved his hands getting heather's attention.

"Wow, wow, wow we don't know anything about this operation. If you leave now you'll expose all of us and our dragons. Do you really want that?!" Hiccup explained. Heathers anger grew.

"Well we just can't wait around and do nothing. Those dragons are suffering and they need our help right now!" Heathers said with anger. Hiccup nodded in agreement.

"Look I want to rescue those dragons as much as you do! But we need a plan. We did you guys find on your patrols?" Hiccup asked urgently.

"On the North side of the island Dragon Hunters were packing the ships with the new cargo, and we found that the weapons were newly built catapults. Also gronkle iron weapons. I think their using the gronkle to build their weapons." Astrid said crossing her arms in anger. Hiccup nodded in gratitude.

"We'll deal with the cargo later right I'm more focused about the dragons." Hiccup said looking at the scene before him. Hiccup tightened his fists and and turned back to the gang.

"Tuff did you find anything?" Asked hiccup. The twins nodded.

"We searched the west side and didn't find anything, but we found something near the northwest of the island. It looked like a abandoned boat with a crest we've never seen before." The gang listened closely to what they were hearing especially hiccup. Who ever the hooded stranger was that had to be his boat. Hiccup thoughts kept wondering about what happened earlier. Hiccup's thoughts were interrupted when Heather spoke.

"Yah I saw that when we left the east side of the island. I found that they are shipping all the dragons to the auctions at dawn tomorrow. Also what ever dragons they don't sell..." Heather stopped talking and her head hung low. The gang knew what would happened if they didn't save those dragons.

"Alright gang here's the plan we don't know if Viggo or Ryker is on this island but I doubt it. Snotlout I need you and the twins to draw their fire away from us. Your the distraction. Make sure they don't see us. Twins when I give the signal you'll make the biggest blast you can make and aim it at the ships. Keep them occupied." Hiccup ordered. They nodded and waited for other instructions.

"The rest of us are going to sneak in and rescue as many dragons as possible. Astrid can you see if you can memorize the guard schedule and seen if you can get a key for back up." Astrid nodded and mounted Stormfly and waited.

"Alright gang let's get to work. We can figure out what to do with the dragons later when their all rescued." The gang nodded and flew to the blue sky. Hiccup and Toothless looked at the forest before they took off. "Alright bud are you ready to do this?" Asked Hiccup. Toothless nodded and rubbed against Hiccup's chest and purred. Hiccup scratched toothless's chin and laughed.

"What would I do without you bud!" Hiccup said mounting toothless. The two flew into the air. The cold air hitting hiccup hard. The gang was ahead of him.

"Alright gang let's rescue these dragons and go home. We will take care of the cargo later. Now let's ambush them before they can reload!" Hiccup yelled. The dragons split up and fired at the hunters. The hunters weren't ready for the attack and scrambled for weapons.

"Now Snotlout!" Hiccup yelled. Snotlout and Hookfang fired at the hunters. The hunters fired back. The twins came in after Snotlout and fired. While Snotlout and the twins were keeping the hunters occupied Hiccup and Heather were taking as many cages at a time to the cliff. Every dragon they took had a spark of hope that filled their terrified eyes. "Be quiet, we'll get the others and then we'll set you guys free. How does that sound!" Hiccup said. The dragons roared quietly and hiccup laughed and reached into one of the cages and a nadder put his nose against Hiccup's hand. Hiccup smiled.

"Come on Heather we still have a a lot of cages left. Once Astrid finds a key we can set them free." Heather nodded and they took off.

Astrid moved swiftly across the base and found six guards watching over the cages. Stormfly was hidden next to one of the cages when Astrid made a signal to attack. Astrid grabbed her axe and ran the the guards. Stormfly right behind her fired spine shots at the hunters weapons. Stormfly cornered four of them hunters and swiped her tail against the hunters and they slammed into the wall knocking them unconscious. Stormfly growled in pride. Astrid swung her axe at the hunters head and he ducked quickly. The other hunter sneaked up behind her but Astrid saw him. Astrid blocked the upcoming sword and kicked her attacker in the stomach and punched him square in the face. The Hunter went down and Astrid gasped in surprised when a axe barley missed her head by a hair. Astrid turned and leaned back as the Hunter swing his axe once more.

Astrid ducked to the ground and kicked the Hunter in the knee causing him to fall. Astrid raised her axe and hit the hunters head with the handle and the Hunter fell unconscious. Astrid gasped for air and looked at Stormfly as she walked up to her rider. Stormfly cooed in concern. Astrid petted Stormfly's nose and smiled.

"I'm okay girl just a little winded. Come on let's find Hiccup he might need these." Astrid said shaking a ring of keys.

Hiccup and Heather were working really hard and their was still a lot of dragons to rescue.

"Hiccup how much longer we keep this up! Are dragons are tiring quickly." Heather said. Windshear roared in agreement. Hiccup closed his eyes in deep thought. When Astrid arrived.

"Hiccup I got the keys and I'll explain the guard schedule later right now you guys looked like someone yakked in your milk." Astrid said tossing the keys at hiccup. Hiccup caught them and smiled.

"Its been a long day. Astrid we need your help the more the better. Snotlout and the twins are doing okay but I don't they will hold for long. I asked Fishlegs to help them instead of us so that should hold them a bit longer." Hiccup said. Astrid nodded and her and Stormfly grabbed a cage that held a monstrous nightmare and flew to the cliff. Hiccup grabbed one as well and landed the cage right next to Astrid's cage right next to her. Hiccup jumped off toothless in midair and landed on one knee and ran to the cages and put the keys in. Toothless roared and the dragons nodded. As soon as the cage door was opened a gronkle took off and headed North straight to Dragons Edge.

"Thanks bud!" Hiccup said as he ran to the next cages. Astrid took off to help Heather while hiccup worked on the cages.

Snotlout and the twins were okay but the dragons were tiring. Arrows flew by Snotlout and one hit his helmet. "Come on Hookfang we need to rescue those dragons and then we can go home and you can rest. Come hooky let's show them what a five thousand pounds monstrous nightmare can do!" Snotlout said. Hookfang blew smoke through his nose in determination and flew faster and stronger than before and fired.

"SNOTLOUT! SNOTLOUT! OI! OI! OI!"

The twins were having the best time of their life. The hunters shot there catapults and rocks flew all around the the twins. The zippleback struggled to avoid the rocks but made it through.

"Come on sparky!"

"Spark it belch!"

The zippleback lit the gas and a line of fire clung onto the ships and slowly became apart of the sea. The twins highfived. "Awesome!" Tuffnut said cheering. Ruffnut laughed and joined in. Fishlegs flew next to them. All the dragons were tiring. The dragons were flying slower and avoided the catapults slowly.

"Great job guys but be careful the dragons are tiring. Come on let's move the ships further away from the island." Fishlegs said. The twins looked down at their dragons and frowned there dragon looked exhausted. The twins nodded.

"Lead the way Fishlegs!" The twins said in unison.

Hiccup and Toothless freed forty five dragons. Hiccup was tired yet he didn't stop. Hiccup came in front of one of the cages and gasped in shocked.

"MORNINGGLIDE!" Hiccup blinked in surprised. Morningglide was the nadder they rescued months ago and she's here all grown up. She still looked like the morning sky. Toothless heard Hiccup and ran quickly. Toothless screeched in surprised. Morningglide purred and they both touched noses through the cages bars.

"Hold on Morningglide we'll get you out of there!" Hiccup quickly put the key in and unlocked it. The cage door swing opened and morningglide tackled hiccup and licked him all over. Hiccup laughed.

"I-I know i missed you to! Wait where are your parents?!" Hiccup asked urgently. Morningglide stopped immediately and looked at the cages and pointed at the one she was just in with her tail. Hiccup's eyes widened in fear.

"Come on we have to find them!" Hiccup yelled. Hiccup ordered toothless and morningglide to search for her parents while hiccup released more dragons. Hiccup released seventeen more dragons. There was like a hundred and forty five dragons captured. Hiccup wiped the sweat off his head and got back to work when he heard toothless. Hiccup ran over to where he heard his best friend and found toothless and morningglide next to two cages holding the red yellow nadder which was her father and the leader of the small herd when Hiccup, Toothless and morningglide said their goodbyes.

"Hang on!" Hiccup unlocked the cage and the morningglide's father ran over to morningglide and nudged her and give her an assuring lick. Morningglide ran her head on her father's neck and licked her father. Hiccup and Toothless unlocked morningglide's mother and she ran to her family. The nadders had a lovely reunion. Hiccup smiled but quickly disappeared.

"Morningglide take your family back to the edge and rest we will meet you their as soon as these dragons are freed." Hiccup said pointing to the north. Morningglide nodded no and sat next to toothless and her family. Hiccup knew what she was trying to say and gave up.

"Alright fine you can help but help the twins and Snotlout with destroying ships. Bring your family with you and be safe." Hiccup ordered. Morningglide nodded and her and her family flew and went to join the twins and Snotlout. Astrid and Heather brought four more cages and landed them softly on the ground.

"These are the last of them. We're going to help the rest of the gang with the ships." Astrid said pointing at the burning ships. Hiccup nodded.

"Agreed. I'll stay here and rescue the dragons. I'll give the signal when I'm done and make sure the twins are ready." Hiccup said releasing a green gronkle. Astrid nodded.

"Hey hiccup I was wondering about the three nadders that flew by us and one looked extremely familiar." Asked Heather. Hiccup laughed.

"It should that nadder was Morningglide and her parents!" Said hiccup. Heather's and Astrid's eyes grew big. "No way!" Laughed Astrid.

"Yah you better go help the team." Hiccup said. Heather and Astrid left leaving Hiccup and Toothless alone with a lot of dragons to free.

"Come on bud we got work to do!"

Hiccup freed all the dragons and all of them headed to Dragon's Edge. Toothless cooed in concern. Hiccup was exhausted but there was still work to be done.

"Come bud!" Hiccup and Toothless shot into the air and Toothless shot a plasma blast in the sky as the signal. The twins saw this cheered. "FINALLY!" The twins said in unison. The twins made a wall around each boat and let the gas flow over the base and the armory.

"Wait for it! Wait for it!" The twins passed four more ships.

"NOW BELCH!" Tuffnut yelled and belch sparked the flammable gas and the gas exploded. Fire was everywhere. Ships were blown up into splinters and wood shot into the sky. The island completely covered with fire. The late afternoon sky was a bright blue but know it was red like blood as the fire cast shadows across the sky. The gang cheered. The twins had their mouths opened during the whole thing. Tuffnut had tears in his eyes.

"THAT WAS AMAZING!!!" Yelled the twins. Hiccup looked at the destruction with a smile on his face. During the explosion the cargo didn't make it out of the harbor in time and blew up like the rest of the ships. Now the gang can head home.

"Alright gang let's go home!" Hiccup said happily. The gang cheered.

"I thought you would never ask!" Snotlout said relieved. Morningglide and her family flew next to the gang and chirped at Toothless. Toothless laughed and flew closer to morningglide. Toothless and Morningglide touched noses again and hiccup smiled. Hiccup leaned forward from his saddle and petted morningglide's nose. Morningglide purred and leaned closer.

"Nice to see you again morningglide. We really missed you." Hiccup said. The gang nodded. Morningglide's parents went up to hiccup and nodded theirs heads in gratitude. Hiccup returned the motion.

"You know I didn't name you guys so I think I should name you guys instead of calling you Morningglide's parents." Hiccup laughed. The father nodded liking the idea. Hiccup tapped his chin in thought and snapped his fingers. "How about ragingfire I mean you look like fire plus you are a great leader." Hiccup explained. Ragingfire did a backfill in midair in happiness.

"I guess that means he likes it!" Laughed Heather. "What's the mother's name?" Heather said looking at hiccup. Hiccup thought about it. Morningglide's mother had blue and orange scales and she very kind. Hiccup knew exactly what to call her.

"Oceansky!" Hiccup said. Oceansky tilted her head in consideration and nodded. Hiccup nodded and Astrid flew next to Hiccup.

"We did it Hiccup!" Astrid said with pure happiness. Hiccup nodded and looked at the destruction below them and a thought came back to him. 'Who was that hooded stranger and why did he shot that arrow at him?' Hiccup thought. Hiccup shakes his head to clear all the questions that piled in his head. "Come on guys let's head back to the Edge. The dragons need a much needed rest."

The dragons roared and flown back to the Edge. When they arrived back at the Edge all the dragons they rescued were all over the place. They already put there dragons in the stables and they were resting peacefully. While hiccup and the gang was looking at all the dragons they rescued.

"How in the name of Thor are we going to do this!" Snotlout said grabbing his helmet and slamming it on the ground. The gang rolled their eyes.

"We're going to lead them over to the forest close to the Edge. There's plenty of room and we can use there help if dragon hunters come and attack the Edge when we're away." Hiccup explained. The gang nodded.

"But how are we going to lead them if our dragons are resting?" Asked Fishlegs. Hiccup just shrugged.

"Only three of us will." Hiccup said and pointed at morningglide and her parents. The gang caught on what he was saying.

"Me, Astrid, and Heather will lead them. Fishlegs your in charge while we're gone." Everyone nodded except Snotlout and the twins. They just looked annoyed. Hiccup walked over to Morningglide and gave her a nice scratch on the chin. Morningglide purred in delight.

"Would you and you parents help us lead the dragons to the forest please." Hiccup said. Morningglide happily accepted and she lowered herself down and Hiccup climbed on. Same with Astrid and Heather. The three led every dragon to the forest east of the Edge. The forest reminded hiccup of Ravens Point back on Berk. Especially the cove. Once all the dragons settled down for the night at the forest Hiccup, Astrid, and Heather made their way back to the Edge.

Once they landed they said goodnight and headed to their huts. Hiccup let morningglide and her parents sleep in the stables next to Stormfly. Hiccup entered his hut and found Toothless fast asleep. Hiccup smiled and gently rubbed Toothless's head.

"Goodnight bud." Hiccup whispered. Hiccup sat at the edge of his bed and he stretched. He was exhausted but something kept him up. Hiccup walked over to his door and looked outside. He felt like someone was watching him. He looked a the full moon and everything looked peaceful yet hiccup didn't feel peaceful he felt nervous and cautious. Hiccup rubbed his hand through his hair and closed the door. Hiccup went to bed. Hiccup's thoughts wondered about the hooded stranger and the arrow that was shot at him. Hiccup thought of why would Viggo needed so many dragons for one auction? Eventually Hiccup fell asleep.

At the edge of the forest the hooded stranger was looking at Hiccup's hut and ran off into the shadows of the forest.

Sorry for the long update. I'm busy getting ready for school. I decided to put Morningglide and her parents back into the story. I felt that the story needed something so I added Morningglide to the picture. I hoped you like it so far. Now I'm pretty sure your wondering about the hooded stranger.
