Mrs.Shanti- Rivisha's grandmother

Mrs. Drushti- Rivisha's mom (She was introduced in the prologue ch.)
(Drushti was Rivi's and Pari's mom in the past but in this life, she only gave birth to Rivisha.

Drushti and a few people who are supporting Rivisha and Pari remember the past life incident and are waiting for the right time.

As Drushti was killed by the villain in the prologue and Mr. Rajwant got manipulated by the villain no one could do anything. But Drushti's soul is still there.)

--Previous Chap--

As soon as the dream ended Rivisha,
Pari, Jisung, and Jihun all woke up.

The same questions run through their minds, "Why this same dream every day? Why are you always in my dreams? Why is my brother/bestie there too? Who are you? Why do I feel safe? Why can't I see your face? Huh..."

All got up and went on with their daily routine, knowing no one could answer the questions taking the form of a tsunami inside them.

---Ch-2---

Author's P.O.V.
-In India-

Ignoring the storm of emotions and questions going inside, Rivi and Pari both got ready. Pari decided to call Rivi first and then go to her home to pick her up for college.

Rivisha was putting her earrings on, standing in front of the mirror when her phone rang. She quickly put on her earrings and picked up her phone.

Rivisha, "Pari is calling this early, huh?" she giggled mumbling to herself, she took the call.

-On the call-
"""""

Rivi, "Aaj bohot subhe subhe yaad kr li re Jaan?" (Why did you remember me this early today, my lifeline?) she asked in a fake interrogative tone.

Pari giggled at the other side of the line, "Han na re, kya beaten hum..aaj tum yaad aagai." (Yes baby, what can I say...I just thought of you today.) she responded jokingly.

Both giggled as soon as Pari's sentence ended.
After laughing like maniacs for a while, both girls stopped laughing.

Pari, "Acha tumko bhi wo sapna aaj bhi aaya tha kya Rivi?"(Anyway, Rivi, did you again get that same dream?) She asked with a bit of tension and curiosity mixed in her voice.

Rivi sighed, "Han na, hume to ab gussa aata hai! Matlab hum dono ko hi bachpan se hi hr do din pr wohi same sapna aata....ye ajib hai na?" Yes, and I feel angry and frustrated now! Like, both of us have had the same dream every alternative day ever since childhood; isn't that weird? )

Both went quiet, and the atmosphere became tense.

Rivi, "Leave all that shit! And come here fast, baby!! Then we will go to the university together." She said it cheerfully and changed the topic.

Pari smiled at the other side of the phone and replied, "Okay!! I will be there in 10-20 minutes." She cut the call and started packing her bag for the day.

Rivi kept her phone down, smiled, and packed her bag too.

Rivisha's P.O.V.
-In her home-

"Huh, it was refreshing talking to Pari." I giggled, thinking to myself.

I took out my savings from my wardrobe and sat on my chair, keeping the box I was saving in on my study table.

I took out all the money from the box and kept it aside. I started counting.

Rivisha, "Yes!! Yes!! Yes!!! It's finally 20,000!!" I jumped in excitement and swirled around.

My eyes teared a bit, and I sat on the chair again.

I looked at my palms, thinking...

"Yes, I am saving money. As for why?

Well, it's for my laptop. I need it for my assignments and all.

It's hard sometimes because I earn and bear my expenses... I bring gifts for the kids and save a little money.

I wished my dad was the same as other dads and fulfilled my needs at least. But... (I closed my eyes, and my tears dropped.) ...But he hates me.....huh..!"

I came out of my thoughts as I heard a knock on my door.

Author's P.O.V.

Rivisha quickly wiped away her tears as she heard the knock and kept her savings back in the box.

She got up and went to the door. She opened the door and saw her dad standing there with a small and gentle smile, she had a small bag in her hand.

Rivisha visibly tensed and looked around out of the room to check if someone was there or was watching them.

Rivisha once confirmed that no one was there. She looked at her dadi and hissed, "Dadi, what are you doing here!?" It was very rare for family members or even outsiders to come to her room or even talk to Rivisha.

Mrs. Shanti looked around to double-check if someone was there or was coming to them. Once she made sure that they were alone she looked back at Rivisha and gave a big smile.

Mrs. Shanti, "Lado, no one is around, let me get in now!!" She said all excited.

Rivisha glared at Mrs. Shanti, "No! Dadi, you know Papa will get angry if he sees you here!" Her tone was worried and tense.

Mrs. Shanti whined, pushing Rivisha aside and getting into Rivi's room, "You! You are no less than your papa!! Always angry and arrogant!" She pulled Rivisha away from the door and locked it from inside.

Mrs. Shanti turned to Rivi, keeping both hands on each side of the waist, and said, "I will talk to you! I will love you, my granddaughter; it's my right to do so. What will you or your dad do!? Huh?" She then turned her back to Rivi, mumbling things.

Rivisha melted away at her grandmother's gestures and playful way of showing love and hugged her from behind.

Mrs. Shanti didn't respond at first but then turned around and engulfed Rivisha in a hug as she felt her shoulders getting wet. She patted Rivisha's back, "Rivi, don't cry, beta...Your mom will be sad to see you crying...shh...now stop crying..."

Rivisha closed her eyes, tightening her hold on her grandmother, and closed her eyes shut, saying, "Dadi... Everyone hates me, but you and Pari love me so much. People even hate Pari because she is friends with me; they hate her because she stands for me, yet Pari never leaves my side. My very few friends and those orphanage people never hurt me. You all suffer for me......" She stopped for a brief moment and took a deep breath.

Mrs. Shanti pulled out of the hug and smiled; she creased Rivi's head with all the love, care, and sweetness.

Rivisha looked into her eyes and returned the smile. She continued further, "Dadi, please start hating me or people will continue to hate and hurt you all.....trust me, dadi, it hurts me when they hurt you all." She urged them to leave her and have a peaceful and happy life.

Mrs. Shanti's smile dropped, and a pang of hurt, regret, and sympathy crossed her face. She felt sad about how Rivisha felt, that now Rivisha even hates herself. She felt the pain in Rivisha's voice.

Mrs. Shanti cupped Rivisha's cheeks in her trembling old palms and said, "Rivi, don't think like this. We all love you, and no matter what happens, we will stay by your and Pair's sides. Trust us, Rivi, and go with the flow. Do what your heart tells you to do. Soon things will change,
beta..soon..you and Pari have to fight a battle..a battle you started years ago." She patted Rivisha's head.

Rivisha nodded, still unsure of her grandmother's words, and her eyes fell downward.

Mrs. Drushti's soul was watching everything.......how her husband hated their daughter, how everyone was treating Pari and Rivi badly, how very few people were helping them, and how the man behind all the bad omens was happy.

Mrs. Drushti, "They will win...both of my daughters will win the battle they started centuries ago...their soulmates are coming soon...soon we will win the battle going on for centuries...." She closed her eyes, and her tears dropped.

Drushti wanted to hug Rivisha, to run to Pari, and to tell both of them that she was their mom at their last birth. She tried to touch Rivi but couldn't, as she was a soul.

Drushti, "Only if I had given birth to both my daughters in this life too. The love and the bond still stayed; even if I was not the one to give birth to both of them, they still supported each other and cared for each other. If only I was still alive to love both my daughters." Her soul cried helplessly.

Mrs. Drushti calmed down soon enough when her mother-in-law pulled Rivisha's ear playfully.

She heard them and giggled with them.

Mrs. Shanti scolded Rivisha playfully, "If you ever say any such thing again!! I will make sure to teach you a good lesson!!" They laughed.

Rivisha, "Only if Maa was here too, it would have been different, right dadi." She wished her mom was there with them; none knew Mrs. Drushti was right there watching over them and protecting them as much as she could.

Mrs. Drushti wanted to tell her daughter that she was right there but couldn't. She stayed there, watching everything.

Mrs. Shanti smiled and said, "Rivi, I know how you are feeling, but trust me, this is all happening for a reason. Just never give up." She patted Rivisha's head.

Rivisha nodded with a small smile. Mrs. Shanti pulled out of the hug, walked to Rivisha's table, and picked up the saving box kept on the table. She opened it and kept a bundle of money in it. Mrs. Shanti closed it, and Rivisha went near her and said, "Dadi, please don't! You know Papa will get angry! He scolds you already for all that you do for me, and now if he knows that you are helping me with money too, he will kill both of us, dadi!" She pleaded with her grandmother to take the money back.

Mrs. Shanti smiled and kissed Rivisha's cheeks. "My sweet granddaughter, don't worry. I am not doing anything bad; now keep it and get a good laptop for yourself. And please don't say no to me this time. Okay?" She said in a very gentle tone.

Rivisha smiled with tears and said, "Thanks, Dadi." Before she could continue, they heard a knock on the room's door.

Rivisha flinched, and Mrs. Shanti's face tensed a bit.

Pari said from outside the door, "Open the door! It's me, Rivu!" She shouted a little, and we both relaxed.
Dadi opened the door and pulled Pari inside, quickly closing the door from inside again.

Pari yelled, "Ah!" But then she calmed down as she saw Dadi.

Pari, "Dadi!! Love!! " She hugged Mrs.Shanti as soon as Mr. Shanti turned around.
Mrs. Shanti hugged her back with the same energy and said, "Pari!! My baby!!"
Rivisha made a face and then laughed Looking at them.

Both glared at Rivisha and said, "Do not laugh!" They said in union.
All three looked at each other with a serious face, and the atmosphere became quiet and serious.

All of a sudden, they burst out laughing like maincs.
(Yeah manics I kind of liked the word... khikhikhikhi 👽)

The trio relaxed and stopped laughing after a while.
Pari said while still trying to catch her breath, "This was... this was fun! Krishna, save me from these crazy people!"

Rivisha hit her head. "Idiot, you are crazy too."
Mrs. Shanti smiled and said, "Yeah! Now Pari, give me your bag." She said it in a firm tone. Rivi and Pari both looked confused. But Rivi soon understood the reason. She kept quiet.

Pari gave her bag to Dadi, not knowing what she was going to do. Mrs. Shanti took the bag and kept a bundle of money in Pari's bag too. Rivisha smiled, but Pari looked shocked.

Pari tried to stop Dadi: "Dadi, don't! You know how people will react!" She tried to take it back, but Mrs. Shanti pulled the bag away.
Mrs. Shanti, "No! I gave it to Rivi, and she gladly accepted it, and so will you!" Her tone was firm.

Pari looked shocked and smiled through tears. "Even our parents don't care about us. But you. I love you, dadi!"

The moment becomes emotional, and the trio hug each other. Soon they pulled out, and Dadi walked away from Rivisha's room quickly.
not to be found.

End of this chapter.

Is the new name for the story good?

A genuine sorry.
I have been busy with a few things and even hurt that I am not important to anyone.
But some people came up to me, and that's enough.

I think a lot, even over small things.
(One of you said it's clear that I think a lot by my way of writing....umm...can I know how? No offense or something just curious.)
