Shehnaaz gets up and found herself on someone's else bed

Shehnaaz : Hayee, ye sar dard. Me kahan hu? where am i?

then she turned and saw him sleeping

"Fuck NO" Memories from last night flood her head

Shehnaaz almost whined in annoyance as sidharth pulled away

"Why are you stopping?" Shehnaaz asked

They were breathing heavily as sidharth leans his forehead against her

"don't look at me like that. trust me, it's taking all of my strength to stop myself right now but we are both very, very drunk. It would not be right. Not like this. This will have to do for now. You can rest here for tonight" sidharth said

Flashback ended

"I can't believe I actually said that! thats so embarrassing i should leave him a note" Shehnaaz leaves a note for him and left from their

"I need to get out of this. where am i? How do i get home-" Shehnaaz thought and shouted

"NO-FREAKING-WAY- he is my new neighbor??!"

here sidharth woke up

"did she leave already?" he said and gets up from the bed

"It has been a while since i brought someone home. how did i get so carried away last night?" Sidharth thought

he started thinking about last night

"who am i even kidding? i was instantly drawn to her. she just seemed so genuine and down to earth. she came to the bar just dressed as herself. she was like unlike any other girls I've met. But I've to be more careful. I can't let her find out who I am..."
saying he checked his phone

"Ye itne texts and calls kyu hai ab yaaarrr. I dont even want to know. I'm off work" he yawned

The sound of the door closing

"I will check them out later. is she still around? the least i can do is take her home" he said and left to check the main door

"HE IS MY NEW NEIGHBOR!!! I cant believe i  made out with my new neighbor" Shehnaaz thought still standing there all shocked
"Leaving already? do you want me to take you home?" He asked from behind
"Ye mujhe ghar chhodega? me to rehti hi yahin hu 😭-" Shehnaaz thought

"No, It's fine! I can get home on my own" shehnaaz replied
"par-" he insisted
"I insist- please" she replied
"Okay then. Get home safe, alright? he said

After sometime,

"How am i going to face him again?" She thought

"Hey! I am sidharth! I just moved in next door. I saw that your door was opened so i thought hello bol du" He said from behind

She turned and he got shocked
"Hey?" she was embarrassed
"Wait- WHAT?? Tum yahan rehti ho??" He asked shockingly
"She's my new neighbor?! No way! Am i dreaming?" He thought

He can barely wrap his head around the situation. Its undeniable that he felt an instant attraction to her. His gaze falls on her lips and he was transported back to last night. He was getting riled up again. He can't forget the taste of her lips. He was not drunk off the alcohol he had. He was drunk off her. Her taste. Her scent. Fuck. The taste of her lips was incredible. He has never tasted someone as sweet as her. It's as if all his kisses before should have been with her. It didn't helped as she was pulling him closer, shattering any shred of control he had. He wanted all of her. He was done for now.

"How am i going to stay away from her now?" he thought
"It would seem that we are neighbors" she said
"So, last night was interesting. how do you want to do this?" he teased
"I want us to accept it and move on. so we made out. whatever, lets move on" she replied hesitantly
"Yeah okay, if thats what you want. See you around, I guess" he said
"Haan" she replied

Then he left from her house and she locked the door
"I cant believe he lives just across the hall" she thought. someone knocked on her door
"Sidharth kuchh bhul gya kya?" Saying she opened the door

"Rohan? What are you doing here?" Shehaaz asked rohan
"I'm here to beg for your forgiveness shehnaaz. I fucked up so bad last night. Mujhe maaf karde shehnaaz. Mene bahot pee li thi....she meant nothing to me. It has always been you" rohan said
"Aww rohan" saying she kicked him where the sun doesn't shine
"Bit- baby! What was that for??" Rohan shouted

"What do you think you are doing?" Someone said from behind, yeah yeah thats someone is our hero🫶🏻

"Him again? What is he doing here?" Rohan yelled
"Sidharth is my new neighbor. He just moved in yesterday." Shehnaaz replied
"Huh? Tujhe lagta hai me tujhpe bharosa karunga?" Rohan shouted on shehnaaz
"Toh mat kar, saale. Puchh hi kyu raha hai?" Sidharth shouted on rohan

"I hadn't notice this last night, but sidharth towers over rohan. even his builds feels more intimidating. Banda ke aura toh hai. Hayee sexy." Shehnaaz thought

"What are you doing here?" Sidharth shouted angrily
"I- I will call you, shehnaaz" Rohan said and left hurriedly
"Me firse tumhari baatein sunna nhi chah raha tha honestly. Bas corridors narrow hai i guess walls patli hai yahan. Mujhe bas awaz aayi toh me check kar rha tha ki you are okay or not?" He cleared
"Yeah, I am okay. Pta nhi mene kya dekh liya tha usme" she replied
"Koi nahi, Sab kabhi na kabhi galat choice karte hai. But agar wapis aaye to bother you then call me, here's my number. " he said and give her his no.

"Thanks" she said
"or you can just yell and i would come running" He teased and suddenly his stomach rumbles
"Someone is hungryyy. yahan paas mein bahut cute cafe hai. i can show you around the area if you like. It is your first day here" she asked (for a date?👀)
"I would love that" He agreed

To her horror, her stomach rumbles this time
"we better hurry. its my treat" he laughed
"yeaaah. me bas change kar ke aayi" she replied and ran to change

In Cafe,

"what would you like to get? my treat." he asked
"just coffee will do" she replied
He nodded and gets her coffee
"thankyou" she said taking coffee from his hand and their fingers touched.

Their heart fluttered as their fingertips lightly brushes against each other. and her judging from his expressions, it seems like she is not the only one rattled

"Mhmm- is there anything you would like to know about me?" he asked breaking the silence
"Yeah, yeah. what do you do?" shehnaaz asked
"Computers and stuffs. I work from home a lot so I apologize in advance if the walls are too thin and you hear me" he replied.
"what kinda sound are we talking about" she asked
"Computer games! What were you thinking?" He laughed
"So you play computer games for a living?" she asked
"Something like that.." he replied
"Thats so cooool" she replied
"Yeah" he replied

"So why did you move?" she asked
"it was getting kinda stale in my old apartment. new environment ki bahut need thi yaar" he replied
"Achha, Are you dating anyone" She hesitantly asked
"Did you think i would have done what i did last night if i was dating anyone? I am not like your ex" he replied
"Uh- yes, right" she sadly replied
"Hey sorry. i didn't mean to remind you of him or anything" he said
"no, its okay. Me andhi ho gayi thi" she replied
"Yeahh. but the answer is no. No, I am not dating anyone." he replied

This fact made her heart fluttered

His phone started ringing again

"Aren't you going to answer that? Subha se notifications calls aa rahi hai" She said
"Nah, its work. i like to draw a clear like between professional and personal life, so no work calls when I'm off the clock." He replied
"Alright" she said and turned to order something
"Can i get a cream cheese bagel as well?"
"Don't tell anyone but the creame cheese is really good for hangovers" she told him
"I thought you only wanted coffee" he said
"It's for you. Socha neighborhood mein welcome karlu" She replied
"I guess mera bahut man lagne wala hai yahan" he said

After sometime they left from the cafe to their apartment and she take a shower and checked her phone

"Ye kya hai? Did sid streamed last night? there wasn't one scheduled..What's all the ruckus?? Why is everyone sharing it??"

"He's sid? The man I've been watching on my screen Is the same man I kissed last night and everyone saw it. fuck." She thought
"Got it. Thanks for the damage control. I will hop on a stream later to explain the situation" saying he ended the call
"So..." he turned to her
"How many people saw it?" she asked
"the views peeked at 600000. but our faces can't be seen and the stream got cut off so it only lasted a few seconds. My team is combing through the web right now to remove the clips and take any necessary legal actions. Our identities are safe." he assured
"That's a relief " she replied
"Are you okay?" He asked
"Honestly, I am a little freaked out. i think i need a long bubble bath" she said
"I am sorry. I can't believe i let something like that happen" he apologize

"I can't believe he is actually sid! how do i face him now?" she thought

"You know me?" he asked
"I might have watched your couple of streams" she replied
"I really need you to keep my identity a secret" he said
"Whats in it for me? badle mein kya milega?" she teased but he didn't replied anything as he was in a bad mood

She gets the feeling that this is probably not the best time to be cracking jokes

"What happened last night cannot and will not happen again." He said

"I am sorry. But me chahta hu tum yahan se ab jao because I'm about to stream" he asked her to leave and she left from their

"What a day. He is going live now. I'm definitely going to watch his live" Saying she joined his live.

Next day. At beach

Shehnaaz was with her team. wearing big black specs, black tee and black jeans

Shehnaaz was opening the door of her house meanwhile sid came there

"Hey sidharth-" She greeted

Strangely after that night, he became awfully distant. sidharth stopped streaming. Thankfully the trolls died down after a while, nobody figured out who they were but sidharth never returned. everyone was asking where he went

After few days, she saw him on halls with some boxes. he was just going to enter in his house but she stopped him because the silence was killing her after all

"Hey sidharth! What have you been up to?" she asked

He looks dull, he has eye bags. his face looks sunken

"Nothing much" he replied
"Have you had dinner?" she asked
"Yeah! i ordered noodles" he replied
"That's all you are eating?" she asked
"Is that....bad?" he asked

Her heart aches to see him like this
"Would you like to have dinner with me? I have some homemade yellow dal chawal in the fridge" She asked
For a split second, his eyes light up and the corner of his lips tugs slightly upwards
"I....maybe another time" he replied
"At least let me grab you one? Mene bahut jyada bana liye yaarr. Waste jayenge rakhe rakhe" she insisted
"Yeah okay, Thanks" he agreed

She ran to her home and give him his favourite yellow dal chawal packed with some mango pickle

"Here you go. tasty and delicious indian meal cooked by the goddess herself" she said
"Thanks, Shehnaaz" he said and left with the food

After sometime , she received a text

Sid- Thank you for the food.
Shehnaaz- Hahaha, I can make rajma chawal too for you, yk! Everything okay with you?
Sid- I've decided to take a break from streaming

"a break from streaming? he never takes breaks" she thought

Shehnaaz- A break? is everything okay?
Sid- Yeah...just have a lot on my mind. And now that I have an agent and manager and all that stuff. Honestly sometimes it feels like nobody really cares enough to listen

someone was heavy banging on shehnaaz's door. She got scared but still opened the door and saw it was sid.

"Sidharth? Were you drinking" She asked as she saw him in a very bad state, his eyes were dull, he seem upset
"Fuck. This isn't my apartment?" saying he fainted on her door
"Sidharth" she got scared
