Fanfiction: Diabolik Lovers and Tokyo Ghoul

Characters: This book features the Kurosawa family, which has Miwa, the mother, Kichiro, the youngest, and our protagonist Kimiko. To be honest, A+ on the characters really. Each one was different and had their own struggles and problems, characters other than the main character were focused on enough to show that they were important, but didn't outshine the main character. Miwa is just a mourning widow who wants to protect her family at all costs, Kichiro tries to make friends and blend in, encouraging his older sister to do the same. And then there's Kimiko; a powerful ghoul who struggles to control her powers because of just how strong she is. I don't think she's too overpowered, and she is just an all around good character. Not to mention I love her interactions with the Sakamaki's, especially Laito and Kanato. Lastly, the character development was really good, she started off really quiet and secluded, but eventually let loose and showed her true personality. I.Love.It.

Plot:  This book is really unique in a way that I haven't read anything quite like it. Although that happens with crossovers that aren't very popular. I haven't read another Tokyo Ghoul Diabolik Lovers crossovers ever. I love the whole premise of Vampires thinking they're at the top of the food chain, but then Kimiko comes along and is all like, "you guys are delicious." I love how the Sakamaki's basically argue over who's she's going to get a taste of first. I found the book a bit boring in like the first chapter, but everything else was pretty good.

Writing: The biggest thing was the writing. The spacing was good, paragraphs were perfect, dialouge was good (minimal complaints). There were some words that needed fixing here and there, like using an extra word that wasn't needed or using the wrong form of that word. It's hard to explain but I'll try; using bleed instead of blood. I don't quite know how else to explain the mistake... But ignoring minor mistakes, it was well written.

Notes: If you're looking for something different I definitely recommend it. It'll keep you entertained for a day or two. I'm patiently waiting for an update.

And here are my ratings:
