Fanfiction: Death Note

Characters: This book has two main characters, Chiharu and Katsumi. Out of the two, personally I liked Chiharu more, mainly because she was such an innocent character who got dragged into the whole mess with Kira because of her jerk fiancé. Although, I like Katsumi as well, and his reasons for hating Kira are well explained. The only complaint I have is a clearer explanation of what exactly happened with his wife's parents and why they hated him so much. Overall though, the author has done a good job with developing two characters with very different morals and views on Kira.

Plot: The plot is pretty much 100% unique, as it is basically an alternate ending to Death Note, an ending where Kira wins and takes over. The book was a bit short, but honestly, it's hard to come up with stuff on your own, so the length isn't an issue. It wasn't drawn out and everything moved along at a good pace. Although I must say, I didn't expect to be a little sad at the end. Brings a tear to my eye really.

Writing: As usual, writing was great. Good structure, good language use, and very nice to read. I have read some of your other works though, so the writing was good as usual. The way the characters emotions were described was amazing, it was all amazing. I think there might have been some typos, but I'm not very picky about that since I get typos and grammar mistakes too, and probably a lot more.

Notes: I hope the author doesn't mind, but this inspired me to do a Death Note alternate ending, so I hope you don't mind. I have taken some ideas and changed them, but I'm making it as original as I can and I'm hoping to publish it sometime soon!
