totally didnt forget i had this book to tell random shit in rather than posting it all on announcements

got a little story for you guys today

so for context: this was last night, around maybe 9pm or so. im chilling on the sofa like normal and my dad and i are watching rush hour 2 because i love jackie chan films now

we had to pause it because my mamar (grandma) decided to phone me about arrangements for going to the town centre (tomorrow so if my instagrams full of me complaining how it sucks of having no money thats why)

when she hung up i noticed i had a message

i was a bit confused because it was from my uncle (well call him uncle c because i have loads of uncles but hes probably my favourite, dont tell the others) and he very rarely private messages me unless its about my dads birthday present or something

so anyway i click on the message and now im even more confused

uncle c: Hi *my name* can you do Pinkie Pie task

...

you can imagine my confusion when i read that. it was so random. i had no idea what the hell he was on about

i knew Pinkie Pie was a my little pony character because that was my childhood but why the hell was my 42yo uncle talking about pinkie pie?

so i send a text back

me: ???

theres silence for five minutes (films on pause because my dad was doing something and despite seeing it a hundred times he didnt wanna miss 'the best part')

then i get a text back

uncle c: Sorry *my name* that was *cousins name* stealing my phone 😅

well, that made more sense. but my cousin is 5 years old and should not be up at 9pm and how the hell does she know how to text so well???

me: oh ok 😅

me: whats that about pinkie pie...?

uncle c: She says you have a game and wants you to look at Pinkie Pie's tasks

me: what 😂

uncle c: I don't know, but she seems very adamant about it and won't go to sleep until you do

with the weight of my uncles sanity on the line (my cousin does not like to go to sleep when told and will probably be running up the walls in a minute) i rack my brains to think what the hell she means

then i remember about two weeks ago she made me install a my little pony game onto my phone. for those that dont know i see two of my littlest cousins every saturday and while its lovely and all theyre very tiresome, i downloaded the game to keep her quiet for half an hour and promptly forgot about it

so i assured my uncle and my cousin that yes, i was on the way to check pinkie pies tasks, then i had to report  back that she was now baking cupcakes

ten minutes later i get a thank you message from my uncle that she finally went to sleep 😂

might start playing that game. used to have it on my mamars tablet and we played it constantly... wonder if its still as fun as i remember...

soooo yeah

now im gonna watch rush hour 3 😁
