I've constantly felt threatened by people that I perceived to be better than me. I realize now that the only reason why I felt threatened by their existence is because I didn't value myself as much as I should have. I didn't see myself as worthy enough to be compared to them, so I allowed their overpowering, unmitigated existence to subjugate my existence as a human being.
