Caitlin P.O.V
I walked into Star Labs the next morning to and found Cisco decorating in the cortex. "Hey Cisco," I said. "Heeeeey, Caitlin," He sais giving me a funny look. I just raised my eyebrow and put my stuff down. "The decorations look nice," I said, even though they really didn't look good at all. "Hi, Cait, " Barry said as I turned around to see him walk in. I looked down at my feet and blushed. I haven't seen him since last night... "So, Barry... um... Wannahelpdecorate?" I stuttered out, "girl you can not talk to guys!" "Not the time Frost." I looked up and smiled at Barry, "I'm taking over, you don't know how to talk to guys." "FROST NO!" But it was too late. "Hey, handsome," Frost said. "Hey Frost, what are doing?" Barry looked confusedly at Cisco, but he just shrugged and continued to set up the decorations. "Caity just wanted to tell you that she liked that kiss last night, and she wants to do it again," Frost smirked and Cisco choked on the hot-cocoa he was drinking, and started laughing. "You guys should go on a date or something," he said. "Yeah," Killer Frost replied, "It would make Caity happy." Barry looked at Frost and Cisco as they nodded their heads telling him he should ask her out.
Barry P.O.V
Barry watched as Frost became Caitlin again. "Oh my gosh, I am so so so so sorry, what did she say?" Caitlin looked frantic as she asked Barry, searching his face for answers. "Hey, Caitlin. Wanna go on a date? I'll meet you at your house, the destination is a surprise," Barry said. Caitlin blushed and looked at her feet, and grinning, she said, "That sounds perfect."
Caitlin P.O.V
Frost, what should I wear?
You should wear that cute blue sweater and those nice pants,
Ok.
I put in the pants and the sweater and went into the bathroom to do my makeup. Just as I was finishing up my makeup I heard the doorbell ring. I rang down the stairs and opened up the door. "Hey, Barry!" I said excitedly. "Hi Caitlin," He replied with a sly grin on his face, "Ready to see where I'm bringing you, Dr. Snow?" I grabbed my coat, hat, and gloves as I walked out the door. "Yes, I am Mr. Allen." Then he picked me up and we sped away.
Barry P.O.V
"Just a little bit further. Now open your eyes!" I said as I led her to our destination. "An ice-skating rink?!" She practically screamed and she whipped around with a worried look on her face. "What? Is something wrong?" I asked. "No, it's just, I don't know how to ice-skate," She said as she looked into my eyes. "That's why you have me!" I said as I led her to the ice skates. "Here pick out some ice skates." After we laced up our ice-skates I led Caitlin over to the ice. "Ready?" I asked. I took her arm and she said, "Ready as I'll ever be." We gingerly stepped onto the ice and her grip tightened on my arm. I look at her reassuringly and we slid forward. She stumbled but I caught her. She looked scared but I reassured her. "It's fine Cait, I'm right here."
Caitlin P.O.V
I quickly got the hang of it and we progressed from me clinging on to Barry's arm for dear life, to us smoothly skating around holding hands. As it came close to 6:00 we made our way to the Christmas tree in the middle of the ice-skating rink. "Hey, why are we stopping?" I asked. Then he looked into my eyes and said, "I love you Caitlin." Then he leaned closer to me and our lips connected.
