Barry P.O.V
When I woke up I realized that I was still in a chair in the med bay right next to Caitlin's bed. I looked over and saw that her eyes were fluttering open.
"Hey Cait, " I said. When she opened her eyes she immediately turned a pale green color. I quickly grabbed a trash can before she could throw up on her self.
I held her hair back as she threw up the rubbed her back with my other hand.
"Hey, Cait are you ok?" I asked when she was done throwing up.
She slowly sat up, "Well I feel better now." She said and bit her lower lip, "Barry-"
All of a sudden the meta-human alarm went off.
"What were you going to say, Cait?" I ask before running off,
"Nothing, go save the day I'll be on coms."
Caitlin P.O.V
Stupid meta-human alarm. Well I'll just have to tell him later. Feeling much better, I rushed into the cortex.
"Hey Cisco, what is it this time?" I asked.
He looked up from the computer were he was watching some security footage, "He seems to be a meta that can control acid. Looks like he's trying to break into Mercury Labs. His name is John Bartley, he was let go from Mercury Labs six months ago for dangerous and unauthorized experiments with, you guessed it, acid."
"Ok I evacuated the building what do I do now?" Barry asked through the coms.
"Well he can control acid, so why don't you try neutralizing him?" I suggested.
"I can try." He said, then he ran over the a fire hydrant and started the water.
"Um, guys... it's not working it's just making him more angry and now he's shooting acid at me!" He said, "Ouch!"
I could see his pulse rising on the chart, "Barry?!"
"Uuugh, he hit me in the leg with his acid-uuugh- it's burning through all my skin!" He said, I looked down at the security camera and he was on the floor unable to get up.
John walked up to Barry, "Tut, tut. Not so fast scarlet speedster. You're gonna dissolve." He said with so much malice in his voice I could almost imagine venom coming out of his mouth.
Then I got an idea, "I'm gonna sneak attack him," I said as I got my suit on, "Take over Frost."
Frost P.O.V
"Cisco, breach me there." I said.
I jumped through the breach and saw Barry writhing with pain on the ground. I formed an ice rod in my hand and hit the acid jerk on the back of the head.
"He's out cold," I said, laughing at my own joke.
"Nice one Frost, but I could use some help," Barry said wincing. His skin was severally burned and I could see some of his muscle.
"Don't worry, Caity's yelling in my head telling me to get you to the mes bay, "Cisco, breach is home."
Barry P.O.V
I woke up in the med bay and saw Caitlin pacing in front of my bed.
"Hey, Cait" I said, "What's wrong? You're doing that biting your lower lip thing you do when something's wrong."
She turned towards me, "Barry, I need to tell you something...
I'm pregnant."
