From a very young age, Scout hasn't had a very strong sense of self. He was only seven, after all when his father took "advantage" of his extreme intelligence. You see, when it comes to mathematics and calculations, there are few talent as he is. His speed and accuracy is unrivaled for his age, at least in his country, but besides that, besides knowing himself to be a genius, he feels as though there isn't much else to tell.

Scout very easily holds grudges, evident in his bitterness towards his father. He blames the man for what he feels was a lack of childhood and character development. He doesn't hate his father, per say, rather he hates the fact that he abused his son's talents. Because of all this, Scout's been dead set on rejecting this genius he's been blessed with.

Scout is very determined to start living for himself, hating the fact that he knows so little about himself. He's ignoring any logic to try and be the most "teenage"-teenager he can. He's trying everything he can, taking up every opportunity to do as he pleases, just to find himself. This has caused him to become rebellious and a bit of a troublemaker (a lot of a troublemaker), much to the dismay of his father.

He's a very sarcastic person, his humor snarky and often times a bit dark. He can seem harsh, but in truth he's simply witty, honest and lacking a smily face. He may not look it, but he adores comedy, not slap stick, but fast thinking and creative. Comedy was the first thing he felt was truly authentically part of him.

Scout's action can often seem reckless, but they're always calculated. He intentionally tries to make the things he does seem this way, because he, strange as it may seem, is trying to get in trouble. Scout is spiteful, especially towards his aforementioned father. He also has jealous tendencies.

In all honestly, Scout is confused, which in his mind goes against his intelligence. He hates being confused, so he's doing anything he can to remedy this. He's trying to be his own person, and being rebellious is one of the first solutions that come to mind, especially when it directly defies his dad. As a kid, he was charming and bashful (traces of this can still be found in his personality), but to him, that wasn't enough for him to feel like an individual.
