Killua held his breath. He was already in zetsu, so he couldn't do much else. There was shuffling at the window. "Things seem to have been moved around...how odd." hands reached out and slammed the window down on it's sill. Killua winced as it trapped his fingers between both the sill and window. Dammit. He could just slip them out and drop down, but that would make noise. Not only that but it'd tear the skin off his fingers. Killua was not looking forward to that option.
Somehow, the principal didn't actually notice that Killua was there despite his fingers sticking out. He couldn't tell if it was his zetsu at work, or the hilariously inobservance from the principal. Killua was dangling there for a solid 30 minutes, he was starting to get bored but he didn't really want to be caught. Eventually, the door closed. Killua sighed, then hauled himself up and untrapped his fingers from the window sill. He shook his hand with a scowl, the sill had left a mark on his hands. That looks ugly, eh it'll fade-
"Who the hell are you!?" Killua's eyes snapped up, and he froze as he locked eyes with the principal. He...hadn't actually left. Fuck. well killua, let's see if you can pull this off. Killua feigned a guilty expression. "S-Sorry, I got nervous" he said, in his accent. The principal looked enormously confused. "Wait, are you the new Russian transfer student?" Can I pull off a Russian accent? Killua cleared his throat. "Da" He said. That means yes in Russian, I think. I hope. He thought. It wasn't often Killua doubted his acting skills but he didn't actually know any Russian. He was pretty much just improvising, and hoped the principal didnt know any Russian either.
The principal laughed awkwardly. "Well, why exactly were you...out the window?" Killua blushed a bit in embarrassment. "Uh.." he thought for a moment, then continued in a thick Russian accent. "Looked for you. Heard someone coming...panicked." The principal sighed. "Right, there's somewhat of a turf war going on in your country, isn't there, my apologies. I should've given you a proper welcome-" Killua cleared his throat to catch the principal's attention. "Hm?"
"I don't start until tomorrow, just came for a look." He said. The principal blinked. "Oh. well, I can arrange someone to show you around-." , "No thanks Ma'am." Killua said, with a small bow. The principal looked confused. "It's Sir, not Ma'am." Killua rubbed the back of his head, an embarrassed expression on his face "Sorry, Sir. not good with Japanese yet." The principal chuckled. "It's alright, I'll see you tomorrow." Killua smiled, then walked away. That was close, good thing I wore a disguise. Tomorrow, he knew the real transfer student would come. There would be a lot of questions, and most likely a police report. Maybe I should practice some Russian in my free time.
