Killua let out a sigh, slipping a chocolate bar out of his pocket and unwrapping it. He bit off a piece, then smiled as he sweet warm taste hit his tongue. Chocolate really was a wonder, and one of his favorite things to indulge on. He stood at a street corner waiting for the traffic light to let him pass. I mean, I could just walk across the street but... he glanced sideways at a patrolling hero. Last thing I want is to get yelled at by those weaklings, such an irritation. He didn't feel like starting something today, maybe tomorrow. Killua yawned, finishing his chocolate bar when he heard something "Hm?" he glanced up, then blinked when he saw a piece of the roof above him start to fall. Killua caught it with ease, it was only a couple tons.
"Oh my god-" a woman exclaimed, as he gently set it down. "someone really needs to repair that roof" he said with a sigh, that was most likely breaching some sort of safety law. He continued down the street, ignoring the citizens who tried to converse with him. Killua instantly regretting displaying that much strength in public because now people were following him, some even took pictures and asked if he went to U.A. Killua couldn't imagine himself with the label 'hero' it just didn't suit him. Due to this society's standards, he would be labeled a villain. But villain doesn't feel right either. He was more of an in between, neither evil nor good. At least, that's how he liked to think of himself. He'd long given up trying to be a 'good' person. He would just never fit society's standards for it.
At that thought he let out a soft chuckle. Gon's really rubbing off on me. He paused. Gon... his lips formed into a frown, deep in thought. I wonder where he is...he's definitely noticed I've gone missing by now. Killua kept walking down the street, barely paying attention to the passerby and chattering of the streets. His mind was focused on his plan for the future. Returning home could take a while. I wonder- His thought process was cut off by a familiar set of footsteps. Killua had only heard them once, but they were distinct enough for him to instantly recognize him. "fancy seeing you again" he said, glancing over his shoulder. As expected, Allmight was standing there, the same grin on his face. "ah, your very sharp young man. Scarily so-"
"is there something you needed?" Killua replied, carefully layering his irritation under a thin sheet of curiousity. Something about the old man's presence just...didn't sit right with killua. There wasn't a reasonable explanation for it, he just didn't like him. With a few long strides Allmight was standing beside Killua. "I don't know if you realized but you've become somewhat of a celebrity around here" Killua's eyebrow raised. "how so exactly?" usually people pay no mind to me. Allmight laughed. "everybody's talking about you young man, there's several recordings of you being heroic, very impressive young man. Although slightly problematic" he added the last part with a slight wince.
You've gotta be fucking kidding me. He grumbled internally. "tell me young man, what's your quirk?" Allmight asked, a curious look in his eyes. Killua sighed, placing his hands behind his head. "don't got one, don't need one" he said, shooting a dry look at Allmight. Allmight however seemed to...not be surprised. I suppose if he inquired the police about me, they would've told him about what happened. The fact he didn't already know means it was never leaked to the press, or anyone. He couldn't help a small grin coming across his face. They're intimidated, good. "how would you feel if I told you that you didn't have to be quirkless anymore?"
Killua blinked. "eh?" what's that supposed to mean? Allmight cleared his throat. "my quirk has been passed down from generation to generation, with every one the power growing, taking up the legacy. Young Killua you have shown incredible strength, heart, and courage. I offer you this power, so you may become the next symbol of peace"
