Chapter Twenty-Two

Chapter start!

"Alright... So how are we getting out of here?" Cole looked at the boy who was pacing the room.

"Maybe... Oh! I Got It!" the blue eyed boy smiled, "Hector! Go and take the shadow, and tell Daisy we'll be coming over!" Jaylen smiled, and Hector smirked, "Alright, just stay out of the sight of the Queen"

The small boys shadow morphed into a blob, with red eyes.

Jaylen looked at a picket watch, "Alright, 24 hours start... Now!" they said at the same time, and the shadow left the boy, zipping out of the lab at a high speed, and Jaylen put the watch away.

"Ah- w-what was that?" Cole looked at the boy.

He turned, fixing his glasses the boy smiled, "well, Hector and I can do this thing where he can take our shadow, and run off, but if he's gone for more than 24 hours, we could... ah... Die"

"oh... Can all demon's or... ah... Half Demons do that?" Cole cocked his head.

"N-no... Not really... just us" he shrugged.

When Cole looked, Jaylen didn't have a shadow, They were standing in his lab...

And he didn't have a shadow...

Jaylen paced for a minute, then thought of something; "That's It!" he smiled, turned to Cole, who was sitting on a table, letting his legs swing.

The Blonde was about to say something, when a deep Voice came from the door.

"What's this?"

The two stopped, and Jaylen turned, he recognized the man; "Hi... Matthew..."

Daisy smiled to her new friends, Silvia and Ralph were swimming in the pond with Galaxia, they were splashing each other, and just having a fun time.

"Alright!" She gave a grin, "Here! I! Come!" The elf sprinted, grabbed a vine, and swung into the water, splashing everyone.

Sora flow over and landed on a branch, watching... But fly over, and circled Daisy for a moment.

"What's Wrong Sora? Want to Join Us?" her eyes shinned at the bird as it circled the group in the really clean pond.

Daisy looked at the Owl... Concern on her face.

The elf got out, and let the owl land on her arm...

Silvia and Ralph noticed, and started to get out too.

Daisy seemed to have been talking to the bird, when Galaxia came wandering over, smelling the air, shrugging it off, the Wolf went back into the water to swim around.

But Daisy looked worried...

"What wrong?" Silvia went up asking, "Yes if we can help" Ralph walked up as well.

"It's... Something's coming..?" Daisy started to say but then; "DAISY!" a shadow popped up, it had two glowing red dots upon it.

Silvia jumped back, and Ralph pulled her behind to protect the Princess.

Daisy jumped as well, but Sora flow over to a branch.

Daisy looked at the figure, "Hector?"

"Yes! Now I Need Your Help!" he seemed panicked, and looked around, "What's wrong?" she smiled at her shadowy friend.

"Well, We Found This Guy, and the Queen told us we had to use... That machine... So we're going to help him escape, a-and stuff! So we want to bring him here! Is that fine? Anyway! I –Ah" Hector started to act frantic.

"Hector! Calm Down! Do you know who he is?" Daisy said trying to calm the kid down.

"He said his name was Cole, and he was like... Injure, and stuff, I- well... AH! I Need Jaylen!" he put his shadowy blob hands to his head.

"COLE!?" Ralph and Silvia yelled at the same time, they looked at Hector and Daisy.

"You know him..?" Hector looked at the others, and they nodded, "Well, he's in the Lab with Jaylen! W-we should hurry!" Hector gave a small laugh.

"Alright!" Silvia said smiling, "Let's go!" Ralph joined in.

"Nope" Daisy stopped them, "W-what!?" Ralph and Silvia looked at her.

"I'm going, it would be bad to have too many... And I also promised Rita to keep you guys safe..." Daisy looked at them.

Silvia looked down, "I know I Should Stay Out Of That Kind Of Danger... But I Can't" she looked her in the eyes.

Ralph turned to the princess, "Princess" he started, putting his hands on her shoulders, "You should stay, I'll make sure everyone's alright... And" he thought for a moment.

"Ah... I see why you want to go" he sighed, "I normally stay quiet, and follow, but I'm going too, Daisy you can't stop me, But I see princess, If Cole was Captured, the you think Gil was too... As well as Rita... I Will Find Them... Just Stay Safe"

Silvia looked at Ralph, who gave her a smile, "They'll be safe Princess" he nodded to her, and she sighed, "Alright... Be safe"

With that, Ralph and Daisy got dressed, and follow Hector back through the forest.

Well he kind of Zipped back as fast as he could, But Ralph and Daisy ran as fast as they could.

When they made it to the Capital of Clyden, they walked down the streets, not sticking out at all.

When they made their way around, and down into the sewers, where they found the hidden entrance to Jaylen and Hector's Lab.

It was Built for safety, so if something happened, and the Kids needed to get out, they could, without being seen.

When they entered the Lab, Daisy stopped.

Hector swirled back into Jaylen's shadow, but then realized they were being held above the ground.

"Ah, so nice of you to join us Hector!" The man from before smiled, his hand was around the ten year olds neck.

The man turned to the new comers... and stopped.

"Daisy?"

"Matthew?"
