Chapter Twenty-one

(Whoow, Long One) (Ah hahaha... Almost forgot to update! Happy Solar Eclipse day~~~)

Chapter Start

When Cole came to, he was in a carriage; sitting across from him was Captain Trials.

He rolled his head, and groaned, getting the sleep out.

"Oh, your awake" Trials said, looking at the kid, Cole's hands were cuffed, he also had his dark green jacket on, and his bag sitting next to him.

He looked around, the world still fuzzy.

"ah... I guess not yet... Dang it Quinnlee... too much drugs... A-anyway, we're almost at the Castle, so... Wake up" Trials looked at the not awake teen.

When the Carriage pulled up to the Capital of Clyden, The air was still, and the town was mostly made of stone, green vines grow high on the walls, and it seemed like a forest inside a city.

Cole looked around, most of the people were Elves, and they had tunics, pants, and some had dresses.

The boy was dragged into the castle, and brought to a large room.

Captain Trials held onto the teen's bag.

They stood there until a woman came out, she had burning red hair, and her eyes were a golden yellow.

"Is this him?" she questioned her Captain, the woman made her way to a throne, and sat down, her long violet and green dress swaying as she did this.

"Yes" Trials bowed, "My Queen, we found him in the ice formations"

"Ah, no wonder we couldn't find him, The Child was playing in the snow" she rolled her eyes.

"What's your name, Child of light"

"Ah..." Cole looked at Trials, and he nodded, the teen took a breath, "Cole Plotten" he said.

"Hmm... I would have named you something like Sun or Star or something... But that works too..." she shrugged.

"Yeah, I get that a lot" Cole looked down.

"Alright! Now! Let me see it!" She smiled, leaning forward.

"S-see what?"

"Your Magic! Come on! You know how... Correct?" She was getting impatient.

"Y-yeah... But I'm not really good at it..." the teen basically whisper shouted back.

"Do it anyways! Gregory! Untie his hands!" she sat back.

Trials looked at her, then Cole, who had a smirk.

"Is that your name?" Cole giggled quietly.

"Shut up~" Trials whispered back through his teeth as he undid the handcuffs.

After Cole looked at the Queen of Clyden, she wasn't much, kind of on the shorter end, and looked frail.

He sighed, Trials was there, and he knew this man could snap him like a twig.

Best to give them what they want.

Cole held his hands out, and let the magic form, his plumbs started to glow, his eyes turned gold, and swirls started to curl on his face.

When he dropped this, the boy was out of breath.

"Oooooooh! Fun!" She shinned, "Take Him To The Boys! Tell them to use that machine... Or... Locket Dies!" the Queen giggled.

"Who's Locket?" Cole yelled back as Trials dragged him away.

"She's some weird friend the Scientist has, they like to... Prank people..." Trials sighed as they walked down to a stair case, leading deeper into the castle.

As they walked, they found a Door, with a sign, on it was two hand writings, one nice saying "Jaylen" then one under, in more messy writing; "Hector"

Trials knocked on the door... and waited for an answer...

The door slowly opened, and he looked down, Cole followed the gaze.

There stood a small boy with blue eyes, "Yes..?" he questioned.

"Queen wants you to use... It... so ah... come on" Was all Trials said.

The boy looked at him, "Wait, that? But she said..."

"Well I know what she said, I was there too... But she wants you to use it one more time... ...Or she'll kill Locket."

The boy gave him a look, "You do realize Locket's already escaped...?" The boy's eyes were red when he spoke.

Trials just looked at the boy...

"J-just, take him and do the thing, I-I have to go" Trials handed Cole over to the young boy, and ran off, telling guards to look for the half Demon Locket.

The boy stood there, holding Cole's arm, as they watched the normally calm man freak out.

"So ah..." started the boy, he looked up to the older teen. "What's your name?" he smiled with blue eyes.

Cole looked down to the boy, "Cole Plotten, what's your name?" he gave a tired smirk.

The boy gave a big smile, his blue eyes shinned, "My Name Is Jaylen Jek-"

But then they turned red, "And I'm The Amazing Hector Hy-"

They quickly turned blue, "You interrupted me again!" he cried.

Then red, "B-But You Interrupted Me!"

Cole gave a small laugh, and the boys turned to him, their eyes swirled both colors; "What!?" they yelled.

"You two are adorable" he laughed.

They looked at him, "S-shut up..."

The boy lead Cole down the hall, and to a lab, he had him sit in a chair, then went over to a messy desk.

Cole looked around the large Lab, things were scattered around, and chemicals were swirling around in bottles, things of wire were curling around metal, and little balls of lightning floated around.

One flow over to Cole, and looked at him, and he looked at her.

"Hello..?" Cole questioned, the lightning creature bowed, then flow off to the others, they seemed to giggled, and fly over to a small doll house thing in the corner.

Cole watched, then looked at the Boy, he was on a stepping stool, and had pulled a mask on as he worked, but still muttered to himself... Or to each other.

"So..." Cole started, "Nice doll house"

The boy stopped, and turned with Red eyes, "I-It was the Queen's, she wanted a girl... but had the Prince, so when I made the Lingering Lightning, she gave it to us for them to live in..." he looked away, "So ah... yeah..." he went back to work.

"Ah, okay... So what's this thing the Queen wants you to do to me..?"

"S-she wants me to take your magic, well Experiment, and then take it..." the boy didn't turn around from his work.

"M-Magic!? I Don't Have Magic!" Cole basically yelled.

This time the boy turned, blue eyes, "That light that you make with your hands; That's light magic, it's the most rare, because the Goddess took it away when she disappeared, it's said when the person with Light Magic next shows up, it's time to..."

He paused.

"It's said, That that's when they can resurrect Oswald and Theo, so they can finally bring the world their revenge... Because... They think Crytinia is Evil..." the boy looked down, muttering the end.

Cole looked at him; "And they think I'm that person..?"

The boy looked up, "Well you look the part! Light magic is what brings up the Blonde hair" he pointed to Cole with his pencil.

Cole blinked, "So what does this 'Light Magic' Do..?"

The boys eyes turned Red, he smirked, "Well one, you can heal! I see you didn't know that when you hurt your neck" he put the pencil down, and started walking over to Cole, who was still sitting in the chair.

"Considering it's wrapped, means it was resent, and..." he walked around the chair, Cole tried to follow, but his neck hurt so he kept looking forward.

"It's still pretty bad... Huh... Ya know, the Can Bell Hot Springs would do wonders to it! ...Well it would definitely feel better" the boy shrugged.

"Jaylen!" a girls voice called and the boy turned, his eyes turning blue, "Y-yes?" he said as a girl with Cinnamon hair and Violet blue eyes came in. "I got the Herbs you asked for!" she smiled.

"Thanks! Can you put then on..." he looked around trying to find free space, "By the Bleeding Blossoms?" he pointed at the flower.

The girl nodded, and walk over, putting the basket down, she turned, and looked around... Then found Cole...

"Oh! I See They Found Him!" she smiled walking over to Cole, going past Jaylen, basically shoving him.

She looked at the boy, and circled him; "Umm Hi...?" the boy said, silently thinking 'Why is everyone running around me?'

"Hi There!" she smiled, "What's your name?"

"Cole, you?"

"Ginger" she patted his head.

"H-hey Ginger?" Jaylen spoke up, and his helper came over, picking him up, "Yes?" she twirled him around.

"One, Put me down, and –Thank you -Two, can you help me... get Cole out of the capital...?" the boy spoke, and she looked at him.

"Why?"

Jaylen's eyes flipped Red to Hector, "The Queen Broke Her Promise!" he spat angrily.

"Ah... I see..." she nodded...

"Sure! B-but where will you go...?" Ginger's eyes softened.

"I Have A Friend..." he smirked to himself.

FUN FACT! I wanted to name the Hot Springs "Cannibal Hot Springs" but I ended up just calling it "Can Bell Hot Springs" X3
