Chapter thirty-two

Chapter Start!

Cole, Emmy, Hector, Silvia, Ryan and Ralph all looked upon the door, it curled with magic, and all could feel its pull.

They stepped up the steps, and sighed, seeing it doors, they where a bright shade of blue and white, that seemed to have been there forever, and moss has grown around it.

They opened the doors, and inside was a long set of stairs going up.

The team made their way up, seeing it was a good option.

But as they walked, a large beast came running down at them, its eyes where a shade of red, and fur a flaming color.

Everyone ran back to the flat ground, ready for a fight.

"Hector! Behind Me!" Rawered Ralph.

The small child ran over, and ducked behind the scarecrow knight, then started crafting explosives.

Cole pulled his gun out, and started firing, as Emmy pulled her blades out, and started to circle the beast.

Silvia stayed in the back, feeling helpless at her size, as Ryan pulled a bow out, and started to shoot the beast as well.

The Beast slammed it arm down near Cole, but the teen rolled out of the way in time to summon up some light magic, form it into his gun, then shoot.

This time the beast didn't shrug it off; it faltered, then ripped its head towards the teen.

"Ah hahaha..." Cole laughed, then started running.

Emmy dove to block the beasts attack, then stabbed into its flesh, the beast rawered, and snapped at her, only for Ryan to try some water magic, for it only to come out as a small splash.

Everyone, including the beast, stopped and looked at him.

"What?" Ryan shrugged.

The beast rolled its glowing eyes, then smacked its tail across the prince, making him go flying.

Silvia flow after him, catching him with wind magic.

Hector ducked around from Ralph, screaming "Cole! Lantern!"

Cole, understanding the ten year old, created a protective shield around Emmy and himself, in a shape of a lantern, as Hector throw the explosive at the beast.

It blow up, sending the beast flying, Silvia made it speed up with her magic, for Ralph to get behind it, and with his great sword, cutting it in half.

The six all sighed in relief, and Cole let his shield down.

"Thanks for the save" Cole turned to Emmy, and she sighed, "Right back at you... Shiny"

"Shiny?" Cole jumped back.

"What? Do you like sparkles better?"

"...No..."

"Hey! Love Birds! Come on!" Hector yelled from the back of Ryan, who somehow got on piggy back duty.

"Come on" Emmy gestured for him to follow, and the six followed up the steps...

Gil looked at tiny Rita, then at Jaylen, then at adult Daisy.

"This is bad"

"Very Bad" Rita conformed.

"Yeah, super bad" Jaylen joined in.

"The Most bad... bad thing" Daisy tried.

Everyone gave her a look.

"No" Gil shook his head. "No" Rita joined in.

The four hid, as a beast with blue eyes and water like fur splashed around near the red door, with white lining.

It wondered around, then turned at the sound of dripping water.

"We should beat it" Rita shrugged, "But your tiny" Gil glared.

"And we can't do Fire and Ice..." Rita sighed...

"Guys make up your mind" Daisy complained.

"Yeah guys! We need to do this" Jaylen tried to encouraged them.

"Wait" Gil looked at the ten year old.

"Don't you know how to make explosives?"

"Yes why?"

Gil smiled at Rita, "Lets blow it up, then barbeque it! Then Have Dinner!" he smiled, the sound of his stomach growled slightly.

"Sounds good" Rita shrugged, then turned to Jaylen, "how many do you have right now?"

"Six" Jaylen said plainly.

"Good! Everyone gets one, I and Jaylen get two" Rita said, taking two from the small child.

"Why Do You Get Two!?" Gil almost yelled.

Daisy watched the argument, with an annoyed look on her face.

"Because We're Ten! And I Don't Have As Much Fire Power!" Rita shot back.

"Good point..." Gil sighed.

The four soon got into position, and all jumped the beast at once.

They all throw the explosives, disorientating the beast.

Then Daisy ran out, shoving her hands upward, she created mud like boots, strapping the beast to the ground.

Gil and Rita ran forward, then burned it with all they could, the beast shot out a scream, and fell.

They smiled to themselves.

The four soon made their way up the steps, to find a hall way, a door leading out, and another pair of steps heading down.

They heard talking coming from the other steps, and waited.

Moments later, Cole and the gang came walked up.

They smiled, "Well, look who we found" Gil laughed seeing his friend, "Hello Lady Cole"

Cole gave him a look, "Please don't call me that"

When Hector came up the steps, he spotted Jaylen.

"Jaylen!"

"Hector!"

The two ran and hugged, only for Daisy to join them.

Silvia flow over to Gil, and hugged his face.

Everyone laughed...

Then headed to the door, and opened it. There stood Tabitha, with a smile.

"So!" she laughed, "You all made it"

"Of course" Ralph spoke up, "Now, can we go back to... our normal selves?"

"Yeah!" Jaylen and Hector yelled, still hugging each other.

Tabitha sighed, "Did you people learn anything?"

Cole sighed, "My back hurts, and I need to run more"

Gil smiled brightly, "Burning everything's Fun"

Silvia spoke up, "I want to be human again, I'm too small"

Rita shrugged, "I like being young, but not this way, sorry boys"

Jaylen and Hector spoke at the same time, "We like to be together, and not alone"

Daisy nodded, "Yeah, and I like being young! I'm stronger... but I want to learn how I got here first."

Ryan shook his head, "I don't like water."

Ralph then spoke up, "I would like to be normal again please"

Emmy looked at everyone, "I learned I like these people, and being a man is cool, I'm finally taller than people my age, and I, For one, want to know why you did this"

Everyone looked at her.

"What?"

Tabitha smiled, "Okay, one out of ten... that's... okay..." she shrugged, "But yes, I wanted to make sure you all took something away from this... but okay... I guess not..."

Everyone just looked at her, "Fine!" she throw her hands up.

"You can all be normal again!"

Then let the water come back, it consumed them, then when it fell, everyone was normal again.

"Finally" Cole basically screamed.

Tabitha shook her head.

"You'll learn what I wanted you all to learn soon... Change is what keeps you on your toes, never forget that." She opened a trap door, and a pillar arose, it had a blue gem sitting in the middle.

"Take it; let the water dude hold onto it" Tabitha sighed.

They did as so, and Gil took the stone, with a smile of course.

They thanked Tabitha, and started to head out into the snow.

Cole looked at her one last time, and said "So what are you doing now?"

Tabitha looked at the blonde, "Not sure, what should I do?" she shrugged.

Cole gave her a look, "I don't know, see the world?"

Tabitha smiled.

"Alright"
