Chapter Thirty-Six

"Well! That got dark fast!"

Chapter Start!

The ride to the Hot springs was short, and fun.

Jaylen and Hector found that they had a love for heights, and stayed at the top of the mast most of the time. Daisy wasn't a fan of this though.

Ralph was worried about the princess, but he knew she would be fine. Before they split up, Ryan had been teaching her how to use a bow, like how the faun had told him to do back in the Forest Heart.

She was getting pretty good.

They stayed on the ship for less than two days, and made it to the Hot Springs.

The four smiled, it was big! The rooms looked nice and everyone was ready for their relaxing week before the others came.

Jaylen and Hector shared a room with Daisy, and Ryan and Ralph shared a room. The two rooms where connected, three other rooms where connected to the living room and kitchen, for when everyone one else gets there.

On the first day they stayed, the four went to get dinner at the Diner on the top floor.

Ralph thought the dishes names were strange; Three toed soup, ear waxed beef, and one that Ryan laughed at; Butt Wet Salad.

They each got something that didn't sound that gross, and tried to enjoy their meals.

Sadly, Jaylen and Hector ended up getting food poisoning, and had to sit out the second day.

As they ventured around the hotel on the third day, Daisy had a feeling that something didn't sit right about the food, so she went to check out what it was really made from.

Jaylen and Hector ended up joining her, as Ryan and Ralph went to enjoy the water park.

Jaylen and Daisy snuck around the corner, looking around Daisy opened the food hatch, then helped her small friend inside.

The boys slid down the hatch catching themselves right before they hit the bottom, Jaylen took a breath, joined by Hector, the two slit off, Hector as a shadow, and Jaylen alone.

Hector snuck into the back kitchen, then followed the doors down to a secret basement, Jaylen went to check out the kitchen, playing the "little Kid getting lost looking for the bathroom" trick.

Daisy wondered around, trying to "Find" him, doing the "Older sister looking for the younger sibling" act.

This was so if something would happen to him, she could get people to help "Look" for him, and if there was something going on, she could get help easily.

Or if they were innocent, it was a good back up.

Jaylen wondered into the back hallway onto the way to the kitchen. When he made it to the door, he took a breath, then made the fake tears fall, he knocked on the door, and a large man opened it.

Jaylen cried, "S-sorry to bother you Sir, b-but I'm lost, and c-can't find m-my big sister!"

The man blinked, "Oh, come in here, and find a seat, I'll get you something to eat, and we'll send someone to the front desk to see if anyone has sent any reports. Alright? Please stop crying!" The man led Jaylen into the Kitchen, and sat him down on a chair in the break room, which was right next to the kitchen.

Hector zoomed down the hall ways, and into the secret basement, where he figured the meat sat. But when he got there, he found Humans, Elves and Dwarves!

Hector looked around...

He dashed over to one, which looked awake, "Excuse me?" he said nicely, "What is going on here?"

The elf looked up fast, then seeing the shadow with glowing red eyes, it stuttered, "A-are you here to eat me?"

Hector blinked, "Wha- No! why!? That's Agents the Law! What's going on here!?"

"Don't you know? The Camp Bell Hot Springs Is Really The Cannibal Hot Springs!" He basically screamed.

A door opened, and footsteps could be heard, "Go! GO Little Shadow!" The elf yelled at Hector, "Run! Don't be here any longer!"

Hector looked at him, and nodded, "Crap! I Have To Warn Jaylen!" he zipped off, promising he'll be back to help when he has his body.

The elf didn't believe him, but nodded, acknowledging the child's "help"

Hector zoomed up to the upper level, and headed toward the kitchen, only to run into Daisy!

"Daisy!" he basically screamed, "Oh hey Hector! What's up?"

"DAISY! Not Now!" He was freaking out, "This Place Is Full Of Cannibals! We Have To Get Jaylen Out Of The Kitchen!"

Daisy's eyes widened, "Crap!" they started dashing toward the kitchen.

Jaylen sat there, and the man handed the child a cookie.

"So, what's your name sport?" The Chief smiled kindly.

"Jaylen, Sir" Jaylen said taking a Fake bit of the cookie.

"Ah! Welcome Jaylen, now what are you son?" The man thought for a moment, looking the small child up and down.

"Let me guess... Demon?" the Chief questioned.

"Half~" the small child munched on the cookie.

"Half?" the man gave an inner smile, he knew a few people who would love to have this "Dish"

He knew this was a great find since the times when people knew of a third continent, one where the people there consisted of Demons, was cut off; This place has been cut off from Harstar and Clyden for hundreds of years, finding any demons would be a treat.

"Yuppers!" Jaylen smiled, "And my other half should be returning any minute now!"

"Wait, other half?" he questioned.

As he spoke, a shadow came zipping over, and surrounded the ten year old.

"Yeah, his name's Hector~"

Saying this, Jaylen's blue eyes turned to red, and Hector smiled, "Hia there buddy"

The man blinked... then the door busted open, revealing Daisy, who was covered in scratches and broses.

The man stood quickly, "You! How Dare You! I'll Cook All Of You Up!" he screamed.

"Not so fast" Hector smiled, "We already took care of your goons" Daisy spoke from the door, "There's nowhere to run"

"Oh Really? That cookie you eat has sleeping weed in it! You'll be out any minute now, and so I'll have a hostage!" The man yelled grabbing at the boys arm.

"Well that would work, if I actually eat the Cookie!" Jaylen said, showing the crumbs he had hidden, after saying this, the boy filled out a small bomb.

"Oh, and don't think of running, you already have five of these placed on you, I can set them off whenever I wish" he smiled, the Cannibal Chief had been caught.

So I wanted to have this chapter be a "Fun" one, where it follows the group who went to the Camp Bell Hot Springs, and finding out what has been going on, and yes, they did save the captives after this man was arrested.
