Chapter Thirteen

Chapter Start!

Daisy smiled, she hasn't had Guests in a long time...

Okay, she only has animal guests or her friend from the city over.

But Still!

She showed them around, and told the group where they will be staying, She only has 3 extra rooms, so Silvia and Rita got one, Gil and Cole got another then Ralph was left alone.

"W-well I have another Room, but that's Jaylen and Hectors" Daisy would say giggling.

"Who are they?"

"A friend"

Rita ended up helping the girl get dinner ready, along with Ralph who went to get water from the well, Sora; the owl followed the big knight to show him the bucket and so on.

Dinner was fun~

Daisy didn't have enough spots at the table, so they ended up eating like a pick nick. Under the trees, light shined through, it danced in the air.

It was nice...

Quiet even...

After Dinner, They talked for some time and soon went to bed...

A few days passed, and Rita asked if she could speak with Daisy, Privately.

Considering everyone was following the two around, they made a plan... One that would give them time to talk things through.

Rita made her way over to Gil with a log in her hand, "Hey Gil" she smiled, and he looked up from sharpening his sword; "Hi Rita" he smirked.

"So I was wondering if you would be kind enough to make something cool for Daisy, for letting us stay here!" she smiled handing him the log, "Maybe you could sit next to Cole and make it.

He smiled, sheathed his sword, took the small log, and ran off to find Cole.

On the other hand Daisy was walking over to the half asleep Teen sitting by the lazy pond.

Rita tipped her off on how to get him to go do something for hours.

Daisy gave a smirk 'This'll be easy' and made her way to the teen.

"Hey Cole- what are you doing?" she noticed he was looking down, a little frantic.

He gave an innocent smile, "I- I was trying to figure out how to make my hand glow"

"Hands glowing?" Daisy questioned, "yeah, well I found I could do this thing, that make my hands glow, but... well... It makes me Dizzy" he shrugged.

"Alright, let me see" She crouched down, Cole looked at her weird, but shrugged it off, she was just so trustworthy, he held out his hands, and let it happen.

They glowed slightly, curls of golden magic started to swirl around his hands, his eyes lost some of their green, and turned to the color of the magic.

He let it drop, letting a breath out, he looked at the girl, "s-see?" he said, out of breath.

"Ya, that's weird... Just practice with it, It does looks like Light magic, but that's been missing for Hundreds of years..." she shrugged, "But, If you need a break," she pointed to a latter going up the tree, "If you follow that latter, you'll find a look out spot, it's a perfect relaxing spot, or you could paint it, could be fun" she gave a smirk.

Cole agreed, and ended up running over to the latter, only for Gil to follow him up.

Daisy sighed, Watching the boys, but soon noticed Galaxia, the Wolf, walking over, half awake.

"Hey Galaxia~" She made her way over, and the wolf stopped, turned, and then started to walk away, "No, nonononono..." she stopped her Wolfy friend, and gave her a smile, "I need you to do something"

The wolf gave her a look...

"No... I'm not doing that!" Daisy basically yelled, "But! I'll Get you some meat next time I go to town, how about that?" the Wolf seemed to agree.

"Alright, I need you to distract Silvia, now don't get her mad, she's our guest, so be nice" Daisy said, patting her pet on the head, and he ran off.

Rita made her way over, "I got Gil and Ralph, did you get Cole and Silvia?" she asked, hands in her pockets.

"Yuppers! I got Cole and Silvia, but how did you get Ralph?" Daisy questioned.

"Oh, I just gave him a mirror, and sat him down in the front" Rita gave a tired smirk pointing to the front of the house.

Daisy gave her a look, but shrugged it off, "A-anyway, what did you want to talk about?"

The two made their way over to the pond, and sat at a bench.

"Well... Well we have to keep moving... But I was thinking the Desert isn't the best place for Silvia... and I don't think Ralph is going to take that armor off any time soon" Rita said, looking down.

"So I was wondering if Silvia and Ralph could stay here while Gil, Cole and I head out to the Desert" Rita turned to the other elf. "It's okay if you want us all t-"

"Yes"

"Wait- What?" Rita stopped

"Yes, they can stay" Daisy smiled.

Rita looked at her for a moment... "I- ah... T-thank you, but we all just met you, and if it's weird- I- Umm- S-sorry" The mostly chilled girl started to freak out slightly, ending with, "Why Are You So Easy To Talk To!?"

Daisy just laughed; "It's fine, I just want to be helpful to people"

Rita nodded slowly, "Alright..." she took a breath, getting herself relaxed once more, "Thanks again"

"Any time"

"Alright, so we'll have to go soon, but none of us can entire the town, and I was wondering if you knew any way to get to the Desert from here" Rita said, pulling a map from her back pocket.

"Oh, Yes! I knew a few paths here or there, so, let's see here..." Daisy took the paper, and looked at it, then pointing to a spot in the forest; "we are here, and the main road is here" she looked around, "There is a path from my house to the road, and another to the Deserts edge, but there's no easy way to the Oasis..."

"Oh, No I just need to get to the Desert, I know that place like the back of my hand" Rita smirked.

"Ah! That's perfect! So you'll be popping out around... Here! So, it would be a two day carriage ride, but a week walk... If you'd like, I Can get some stuff for you guys!" Daisy looked up to the other sitting there.

The two planned and plotted for a week.

And that 7th day later, Cole, Gil and Rita left Silvia and Ralph with their new friend Daisy.
