Chapter Forty-Three

Chapter Start!

Ralph followed Susan, Cole and the boys walked in the back, both slightly upset.

When they got to the kitchen, it was large, ready for a Dragon sized dinner.

Susan ordered them to create a large lamb Roast! He showed them to a zoo like area, where he picked out a large over grown lamb to be roasted. Ralph cut it, Cole cooked it, and Jaylen and Hector helped get the spices.

This didn't take long, and when it was finished, they headed over to the large room, where, there stood a large five story tall Dragon, it was a dark shade of gray brown, and seemed to be old.

"Marshmallow!" Susan smiled, running over, giving his large pet dragon a hug.

"Susan had Marshmallow sense Susan first became a keeper of the Emerald Earth! She's about ten thousand years old! Same age as Susan!" Susan smiled, petting the large beasts head, it cuddled up to him.

Cole and Ralph stared at it, both holding a handle on the large dish.

Jaylen was already looking around the room, checking the facts, and looking at the dragon...

"Wow" was all Cole said.

Susan had them bring the dish over to the Dragon, when they set it down Susan presented it to his pet.

The beast seemed to thank the Chefs, and started eating.

When this was done, Susan headed over to the front once more, then down another hallway.

When he stopped, the other three circled around a pedestal, where sat a bright green Emerald.

Susan took it in his hands, then Headed over to Ralph, and handed it to him, the rock shrink to a side that Ralph had then clipped to an earring.

Before they left Susan to his shrine, Susan had one last think to say.

"For this Trial, it wasn't about cooking dinner for my friend; it was getting me back here, and getting into the Shrine. Then I had to make sure you would be good for the Emerald Earth, For I was given a partner from the Goddess, Marshmallow is actually a Keeper as well, she and I protect this Shrine, together." Susan spoke with his eyes closed, like he was upset.

"Now that Susan's job is over, Susan and Marshmallow will go find Tabitha and Mack. Ralph, from what Susan's seen you have the idea's if justice, but wants to protect your friends, Jaylen, Hector, you two need to fight with each other less, and learn how to protect yourselves more. And Cole, your learning well, but you need to take action more." Susan lectured them.

"But until then, Susan will stay in here until the fight outside is over, watch out for the Queen of Clyden, For she will take something dear from you" Susan then shoved them out the Shrine door.

"Until Next Time My Lady! Goodbye!"

The three blinked, but then turned; only to see-

Gil Slashed down, slicing cleanly through, and off Captain Trials left hand.

The large man screamed, then smacked Gil across the battle field. Cole reached out with a hand, shaped from Light, he caught Gil, then let his friend down slowly.

"Daisy!" Jaylen and Hector yelled running over to their Guardian.

Daisy was surrounded by enemies, if he didn't do anything, she wouldn't make it.

When he got there, the ten year old slide next to her, then formed some little magic the kid had pulled the pin on a bomb he had, and let them loose.

The explosion shot them away from him and her.

"Come On! Let's Get Out Of Here!"

Ralph looked around, and saw Silvia and Ryan fending off troops, but getting over whelmed. He dashed over to his lady, and flipped the earth, sending the rest of the troops flying.

"Come On! We Have To Go!"

Emmy saw Cole catch Gil, she made her way over, "Are we ready to go? Some of them got away, their getting even more men to overrun is!"

They all started running.

Trials screams of anger and pain filled the air, his eyes looked up toward Gil angrily, they were practically glowing with fire.

He shot a blast of fire at Gil.

It burned toward him.

But right before it hit him, Silvia blasted it with a gust of wind, sending the flames into the earth, making it fall, blocking the past behind them.

Ensuring their escape.

I'm still sitting here in the corner rewatching the Kingdom Hearts 3 trailer...

Just noticed you have to have a "Protect someone" quest from one of the parts....

It's so good...
