Chapter start!

Silvia walking into the large chamber where the throne sat.

A man sat there, gray hair curled around his blue eyes; Albert VII, King of Harstar.

Silvia made her way over to him, "Hello Father" she said, knowing she would be yelled at.

"Hello Silvia, what happened today?" he said in an annoyed kingly voice.

"Do you want to hear the fast or slow version?" she only sank.

"Fast"

"Okay... let's see... First I jumped out my window, then I went to see Gil at the blacksmiths, he kind of ran, so I checked the Inn he always stays at, and found it empty, so I walked around for a little bit, until I saw Gil walking with this kid" Silvia looked away, counting on her fingers what she did.

"So I went up, and talked to him, Gil was mad I left the castle again, then I got mad, and kind of sort of hit his friend, who has this really pretty hair, it's like gold. But that's beside the point" She smiled, waving it off. "Then I got brought back here with guards"

Her father glared...

"I see... And what was this... Golden haired kids name?" he questioned his daughter, "Gil told me once it was 'Cole' or something, but to be honest, I would have named his something like 'Sun' or maybe just flat out 'Gold'" she rambled.

"S-Silvia, Silvia, you talk too much" her father spat, "You need to know when to Stop talking, you'll make a better Queen then" he lectured her.

"But-" she started, "No Buts, you will be a good, Silent Queen one day" he nodded to himself.

"But Father!" Silvia yelled.

"No Buts! So Forget That Fantasy Of Marrying That Blacksmith, Because I Will Marry You To Who I Choose, Then You Will Be A Quiet Queen!" his face red with anger, "And I have already chosen who they are" he settles down, "You will be leaving to meet him in two days time, his name is; Lord William Wart." He eyed the girl.

"Now" he fixed his shirt. "Guards, can you please, go to the Inn Gilbert Cray and his companions are staying at? And, bring them here." he smiled darkly.

"Oh, and Silvia, you're staying to watch... Come, Sit" he patted the seat next to him; it was a smaller throne, lined with blue silk.

She made her way up, and sat slowly, her face grim...

Her dreams were shattered...

~~~Break! ~~~
Cole sat in the Inn washing his hair out in a bucket, most of the paint was out of his golden locks, when he whipped it back, hitting Gil with paint filled water.
Gil stopped, and turned slowly to the teen.
"Cole" he started and the blonde stopped, realizing what happened.
"I Will Put That Paint Right Back In Your Hair, If You Do That Again." Gil's eyes flamed, as he used water magic to hold some paint in the air.
"...Sorry" Cole slouched sheepishly.
"Lady's Lady's, you're both beautiful, now dry his hair, and don't put paint in it" Rita stepped into the room, closing the door. "Then after close the shades, I want to take a nap" she made her way to her bed, and lay down.
Gil agreed, and started to pull the water from Cole's hair.
"We should come back here again, without her..." Cole whisper to his friend, "Agreed" Gil nodded.
The moment Gil said that word, the door to their Inn room smashed open, Gil and Rita shot up, as Cole fell onto the ground.
Four armed guards barged into the room.
"Thanks for Knocking!" Gil yelled at them.
"Sorry to intrude, but we were asked to bring you three to the King, please grab your things, we will wait right here" One of the four said, stepping forward.
The three acted slowly, putting their things together, and soon following the guards, they walked through town, and to the castle.
They stepped in, and walked to the large golden throne room, pillars lined the walls, and a few more guards waited next to the king, and when Gil's eyes landed on Silvia, he noticed the guards keeping her at the chair.
Gil immediately started looking for easy ways out.
Rita noticed as well, and did as so.
Cole's eyes wondered, looking at the designs on the walls.
The three stopped in front of the King and Silvia.
"Ah hello Gilbert!" he smiled "How are the repairs going?"
Gil looked the man in the eyes and said "It was going; I almost finished the Royal Guards weapons" the fast worker spoke.
"Good good... and, you? Ms. Riddle?" He questioned. "I'm well, I've been visiting with some old friends, they run a few shops here" She said with a lady like tone in her voice, not normally there.
"Ah yes, merchants. And who is this friend with you?" He gestured to Cole.
Cole smiled, "Hello Sire, My names-"
"That's Cole Plotten, he's a painter, and a good friend of mine" Gil interrupted. Cole shot him a glare like death.
"Ah yes, I heard about what happened in the town... I just have one question" the King started.
Gil was on guard now, but listened.
"Have you heard of the secret legends of Crytinia?" he smiled, "Oh wait, only the Royal Family is allowed to know, so you wouldn't know, would you?" The King laughed.
Silvia shot him a look, but then realized what he was saying, then looked at the group, she was about to say something when her father ordered a guard to hold her mouth.
Silvia's eyes darted, and Gil got the idea.
The two knew each other cense they were little, and figure out plenty of silent secret codes. One was to tell one to run, and don't look back.
Silvia was performing it as two guards held her arms back.
"Guards?" the King pronounced.
"Stab Gilbert"
Everyone stopped, but slowly did as so, but Gil wasn't going to go easily, he drew his blades.
"I'm Sorry Sire, But I Don't Think So" Gil said holding his blades up to the guards; Rita followed also, and pulled her, well hidden, Spear from nowhere.
Cole looked at the two, "L-let's not be rash here"
A guard came up behind him, smacking the younger of the group down, Rita whipped her spear around, only to miss Cole's head and fling the guard away.
"Just like our trip to Snow Bush!" She laughed, as a guard swung his blade to Gil. "I don't remember Snow Bush like this..." The young adult questioned her, but soon nodded, and smirked rolling his eyes, blocking the attack; Three Guards then jumped to attack Gil at once, all with newly polished swords~
Rita whipped her hand out summoning Fire magic, melting one guard's sword and shield.
The other two guards stepped back, but one of the them whipped his arms to the side, creating a wave water, consuming the fire user, choking out the air, dropping her spear in the forming bubble of water.
"Rita!" Gil yelled, throwing an arm around and letting her get a breath, but when his guard dropped for only a second, one of the guards ran Gil through.
"GIL!!" Cole and Silvia screamed.
And Gil's eyes widened and he fell to his knees, his grip on the water orb around Rita fell apart, and her air was cut off once more.
Cole's eyes where wide, he felt helpless...
He just sat there the entire attack on his friends.
Not doing anything.
His finger laced his pistol for only a moment- but stopped, seeing Rita.
His legs shook.
Rita soon went limp, with no air bubbles swam out of her mouth, and the king waved to let her fall.
Rita and Gil lay on the ground out cold.
Cole fell to his knees, in shock; his eyes glazed cold and dull.
"Well" the King started. "I never really liked that kid anyway. Now leave the bodies, I want to see what happens..." he waved, even though the two weren't dead yet, Rita did drown, but still had a small chance to be alright. Gil was just bleeding with a sword through his stomach.
Saying that lightly, he lay in pain.
Cole breathed, hands reached slowly to his head, eyes shaking looking to the ground, his eyes swelled, and the green seemed to leave the irises, leaving only the Gold.
Golden swirls started to curl on his skin, and the King held his hand up to tell the Guards to back off, and watch.
The teen shook, "n-no" he spat to the air; everyone froze in the room, and he glow slightly.
The King smiled a green grin.
Cole seemed to stand, one hand on his head, another wrapped around himself.
He forced his eyes onto Rita, then dragged them to Gil, who was now in a pool of his own blood.
"G-Gil, Rita!" he sank again, falling between his two friends, looking at them one hand on each of them, he sat in the middle.
"Don't Leave ME!" he screamed eyes shut, looking down. The room exploded with light, swirls, curls and the shine blinded anyone who didn't look away.
When the light settled down, fading back to the dark throne room, Cole was out on the ground, and Rita and Gil were no longer on the ground dying.
Rita was sitting up with a shocked look, and Gil was on his hands a knees, the sword sat under him, no longer through him, A blood stain was still on the ground, but was no longer being filled.
The King gave a booming laugh, "Good Show!"
Silvia shot him a look of pure murder, "SHOW!?" she spat "Gil Almost Died! ...and Rita... But Still!"
The King make a gesture with his hand to have her removed, and the guards pulled her out kicking and screaming.
Gil's eyes shook; "what was that..?" he breathed, his heart racing, fear, wonder and confusion filled his tones.
Rita looked at him, "You alright?" she was also out of breath.
Gil turned and nodded slowly, after their eyes met, the two soon looked down to see Cole lying on the ground, sound asleep.
"The real question is; is Cole alright?" Gil said, but the King made a sound, and the two shocked sailors looked up.
"Take Gilbert to the Blacksmiths, and turn it into his cell, also take Mrs. Riddle to the dungeon." He ordered his obedient guards.
"And you" he pointed to one taller guard, his helmet covered his face, "Take that one to the tower" The King pointed to Cole.
The guard did as so, but as he left the King spat one last thing.
"Guard him until he awakes, then come get me, I want to try a few more... tests"
The guard nodded, and the three were split up.
