Chapter Fifty-Two

Chapter Start!

After Rita took Oswald's spear, she gave the Crystallized fire to Ryan.

Then after Cole and Sky's two day long chat, the team set out with Captain Roland, heading to south to the Daven Port.

The Daven Port sat the most south of the Harstar kingdom.

Traveling with Roland, Cole, Gil and Rita chatted with him happily; they hadn't seen him in a long time. He was happy they were all happy, and well.

He ended up telling Cole stories about his mother.

Before they left Sky's house, Cole ended up painting a picture of her in his book, as well as creating a painting with him and her in it, to give to her, how? Mirrors.

He even told her when this was all over, he could take her, and show her some of the places they have been, as well as take her to Crytinia island.

But first, they have to foil Queen Scarlet's plan to bring Oswald and Theo back for their revenge on Crytinia.

Who still is unknown to the world in her whereabouts.

When they got to the Port, the town was quiet, most Ports had a lot of people, but this one was quiet, not many people walked around.

They made their way to the Inn, and spent the night.

When day finally came, Roland took everyone to the S.S. Valor. They were setting out soon, heading to the Bad Lands.

When the boat was just about to go Gil and Rita ran off to talk with the crew, Jaylen and Hector was finally feeling better, so the two dragged Daisy all around, only for the two go somehow end up on the Crows nest.

Silvia and Ryan joined them up there, because they went to talk about what they should do about their kingdoms, the two where the next rulers. Ralph went to take a nap, and Cole and Emmy where left alone.

"So ah..." Cole started, Emmy smiled interrupting him "The Boats About To Ship Off!" the girl grabbed his arm, and dragged him to the side to watch.

They stood there for some time, then walked off, to watch for the island the Bad Lands stood on.

A few days later, Captain Roland called the team to his quarters.

Cole, Gil, Rita, Silvia, Ralph, Ryan, Daisy, Jaylen, Hector and Emmy all stood there, listening to the Captain.

Roland looked at them, he took a breath.

"I know you all have been preparing for this moment sense you set out for the first element. But this Island is dangerous." He walked down the line of people, looking each one in the eyes.

He stopped at the boys. "If you or anyone doesn't want to go, they may stay with us, and we will bring them back to Crytinia Island" he patted the head of the boys, then continued.

"There will be no shame in staying back" Roland made his way back behind his desk, but didn't sit.

He waited...

Daisy sighed, "I know" she started, and everyone turned to her, "I know that this isn't to surprising, but I don't want Jaylen and Hector going, I'll stay with them if they stay, and if so, I would like to be dropped off at Port Vale, so we can go home" Jaylen and Hector looked at her.

Cole sighed, "Thanks for all your help" he smiled.

Daisy gave everyone a smile.

"What!?" the boys yelled, Daisy looked down quickly, along with everyone else.

"I- We- We don't want to go back yet! We Want To See This Through!" they both yelled at the same time.

Daisy sat down next to him, to look at him in the eyes, "Are you sure? It could get dangerous"

"Daisy, If you help me watch them, I'll help keep the boys safe" Emmy spoke up.

Daisy look up to the other teen, giving her a weird look. Then she looked back to the boys, determination shinned in their eyes.

"alright" Daisy nodded.

"Anyone else?" Captain Roland looked around, "Princess? Prince?" he looked at the two royalty.

"We both think that hiding them is the best idea, and if they're in a place that is already hard to get to, then we just don't tell anyone, and people will forget about it" Ryan shrugged.

"Yeah, and by 'People Don't Need To Know' Cole!" Silvia shot Cole a look, "You better not put the location of the elements in that book of yours!" she pointed to him, "I Won't!" Cole gave a laugh.

The Captain sighed. "Alright, Anyone else?" he looked everyone over, then stopped, "Ralph?" the Knight perked up.

"You look pail there son" Roland gave a small laugh.

"I have a bad feeling about this" Ralph sunk slightly.

Roland gave him a look. "What kind of bad feeling?"

"I'm not sure..." Ralph looked at Theo's sword the sat in its sheath.

"The sword wants to go..." he muttered so no one could hear.

After they went over how they all felt about it, the Captain went back to his deck, and picked up some papers, and took a deep breath.

"I See you all have decided, and if not, you haven't spoken up, and if you have, I see your still going" he looked down at the papers.

"Before you go, there are a few things you all need to know."

"The Island is very dangerous, as we have said. There are lava flows everywhere, it will be hot, so bring extra water. Now there used to be a City there, Called the City of Fire, respectively. It has been long abandoned. And the occupants in it are now known as Shadow Beasts. They live there, and they look like animal people, made of bone, and by name; Shadow. They do not talk to people, they mostly ignore them, but if you get in their way, or at all make them upset, they will attack you"

Everyone gasped. Except Jaylen and Hector, they kind of wanted to experiment... Maybe when their older though.

"The next thing that lives there are Lava smiles. They are blobs of pure, thousand degree piles of Lava, so don't, by any change touch them. They look like they want a hug, and they look happy. But That Is So People Will Come And Hug Them! They Will Eat You." The Captain couldn't stress this enough.

Gil gave Silvia a look. She didn't notice.

"The next thing you should know, is that there is a Hydra"

Gil perked up.

"Do Not. Under Any Circumstance, Fight it- Gil" Roland look at the young adult.

"What? I wasn't- I wasn't going to, Fight it, Come on! That's... That's crazy!" Gil laughed.

"Right..." Rita gave him a look.

Roland took a deep sigh.

"Alright the last thing you should watch out for, is that Death, themselves lives on this Island. Death is currently a girl with red hair, watch out" Roland said.

The team nodded, then went to bed.

They would be at the island in the morning.
