"So I think we're going to be playing a few games this morning, then we can leave to go spend the day away from the guys."

Maddie cheered happily while I finished covering up my bruise again with foundation and fixed my hair.
Again we both were wearing basically the same thing since she insisted that we wore comfy clothes again.

Only real difference was the different colored hoodies we had since she still had Yaku's and I still had Iwaizumi's.

"Where?"

I asked quietly since my throat felt a lot better after the crap ton of pain meds and the tea that I still was drinking the night before.

"Hey! You're voice is better!"

She chirped proudly now hugging me from behind while I finished tying my shoes so we could head down to the courts.

"Anyways, I think we're going to the pool, everyone else is playing today I think. You need to tell me what happened last night though."

She pouted while I got up and ushered her with me out of the room.
I had to admit both of us definitely looked tired as hell since we had the hugely oversized hoodies on us and we were wearing sweatpants.
Granted we did have shorts and a crop top under it but it wasn't a great look.

"Long story, just don't tell the others I can talk again."

I said quietly since my voice was still broken up and extremely raspy.

"I won't, I'm gonna hope Iwaizumi can explain it later then."

She said simply while we made it outside to get to the gym.
It was still pretty cold since earlier it was raining like hell.

"Probably."

She gave me a small smile while wrapping one of her arms around my shoulders again.
It was honestly kinda nice to have her around instead of just the guys.
Plus we both looked like fashionable hobos so that helped.

Either way she explained a few stories of how Yamamoto ended up getting himself kicked into a water fountain by Yaku before.
How Kenma got into a full fight with Lev since he lost one of Kenma's games. 
And how Kuroo got dumped by a girl because he said too many volleyball references in one sentence so the girl got annoyed and broke up with him.

These stories lasted long enough that we made it to the gym.
There were already most of the teams there other than Fukurodani who I assumed was taking their turn to do morning laps.

"Maddie, come here you little pipsqueak!"

Kuroo said while sprinting up to us and grabbing Maddie into a hug.

"Princess, there you are!"

Oikawa jogged as well as he could, over to me with Iwaizumi following behind.
He looked happier than ever which was interesting to see, plus his knee seemed to be a lot better.
Though there was a huge bruise on it that was peaking out from under his brace.
And luckily Inarizaki was in a game so they couldn't exactly swarm me yet.

"I missed you so much, do you know how hard it is to sleep without you-"

"Save it Mr.Perfect, she's staying with me for the day."

Maddie said while Kuroo again rested his chin on top of her head and was messing with her hair.

"No, she said she's staying with us today-"

"Well I override that so-"

"I'm her best friend, my word is final."

Oikawa boasted proudly while I glared up at him.
Maddie looked somewhat annoyed but her glare softened when I looked at her.

'I'll spend the morning with him, when you go to the pool just come find me.'

I typed out and handed to Maddie who let out a small huff of frustration but handed me my phone back with a smile.

"Alright, just maybe have Iwa safe guard you against your two little protective puppy dogs."

Maddie smirked while Oikawa began pouting and grabbed me so I was held firmly in his arms.

"So mean! I'm not a dog!"

"Uh-huh."

Maddie rolled her eyes with Kuroo seemingly giving a grin of agreement as well.

"Well Chibi-Chan, we have a game to get to, and you know how Yaku gets when you aren't there to smack Yamamoto."

Kuroo eventually said while tilting Maddie's head up so she would look at him.

"Yea yea Bedhead, get goin before I smack you too."

She seared while he flinched at her words and jogged off with a small wave to Oikawa, Iwaizumi, and myself.

"You heard em, I'll see you later (y/n) and if that bitch lays a hand on you again, I'll beat her ass with you this time."

Maddie gave me a wink and a thumbs up before jogging off to follow Kuroo to their court.

Once she left I did feel Oikawa tilt my head up now so I would look at him.

"I can't remember the last time you kissed me like that."

Oikawa said while I sighed to myself and went to punch his chest.
Iwaizumi got to it first and smacked him upside the head before I got my hit off.

"OW IWA!"

"Quit it, you know she did that just because she knows that Atsumu doesn't like you and that's basically what he did with Lyla."

Iwaizumi explained while I rolled my eyes and tried to get out of Oikawa's grasp.
It wasn't working.
Oikawa was right about the whole situation though, he had kissed me before whenever I was pretending to be his 'girlfriend' to get him away from fangirls.
But I never had done it for that long before so I figured that's what had him so happy.

"Yea but you seemed to like it as well didnt you?"

Oikawa asked me while I rolled my eyes and finally got out of his grasp.

"Dont get used to it."

I said softly while they both glanced at each other before looking down at me.

"You can talk again?!"

Oikawa whisper yelled at me and tried to grab me into a hug.
This time though Iwaizumi was able to get to it first.

"Maybe don't say that very loud, I'm sure if that bitch finds out she'll try and hurt her again."

Iwaizumi said while I smiled up and him and held his arms closer to me.

"I guess that's true, well maybe we can work out the buddy system again-"

The buzzer cut off Oikawa, Inarizaki's game had finished.
