29 Forgive and forget
Author's POV
Days turned to weeks and weeks turned to months, Jungkook was able to get by wihout Tae. His graduation is almost nearing, that should make him happy, but he's not.
Everyday feels hell without him. The hallways, though crowded with students, feel empty. Before, he's so eager to enter the room knowing that Taehyung will arrive to teach them. Now, he just forces himself to sit in the middle of the room and listen to the new professor's lecture.
He has to endure. Every bit of it. Even though he's dying inside, he has to endure.
For him and for Tae.
So when he comes back, no one will be able to judge them.

Another day ended just the same for Jungkook. He made his way out of the building, wanting to get home as soon as possible, where he can go back to being miserable without anyone noticing.
As he made his way to the gate, a familiar figure caught his attention.
He stopped and their eyes met.
Jimin.
After the incident between them, Jimin never once talked to him. Jungkook knew the he's the one to be blamed for hurting his best friend. If only he trusted him, he might still have him by his side.
Hoseok, on the other hand, got suspended for a month. Their paths haven't crossed yet, and Jungkook doesn't know what he'll do if ever he meets him again.
Jimin acted as if he never saw Jungkook. He passed by without glancing, as if he's a total stranger.
Jungkook can't handle it anymore. He called out, trying to salvage their friendship.
"Jimin! Wait please. Can we talk?" Jungkook pleaded as he grabbed Jimin's arm.
The older pushed him away, not wanting to hear anything from him.
"Get away from me Jungkook. You said so yourself. You don't want me in your life. Well guess what? I also don't want you in mine." He said bitterly.
The two end up in the school's garden, where not much students go.
"Please Jimin.. I'm sorry." Jungkook whispered. He badly needs someone right now to comfort him and listen to his problems. He feels like he's going to explode any moment if he won't be able to let all his frustrations out. He needs a best friend in this trying time.
"You're sorry? Wow Kook! That took you so long to say! Is it that hard to admit that you're wrong? God Kook!" Jimin yelled at him.
"I'm sorry..." Jugkook mumbled.
"Do you think I'll accept that easily? After what you did?! You doubted me Kook! You blamed me for something I didn't do. You didn't trust me,.... and our friendship... I-I don't know any more." Jimin almost burst into tears, saying those words. He turned his back and walked away.
Jungkook fell on his knees, crying his heart out.
"I'm sorry.. I'm sorry..."
He stayed there crying and crying when he felt warm arms embracing him.
"I hate seeing you like this Kook. You know I can't stand seeing you so sad."
Jimin came back. His heart is breaking at the sight of his best friend's misery. He may be angry with him, but he can't stay angry with him forever. His soft heart can't handle it, knowing so well that Jungkook is experiencing hardship without Tae.
Jimin heard the news from Namjoon. He learned that Taehyung chose to stop teaching for Jungkook's sake.
"I'm sorry Chim. Please forgive me." Jungkook pleaded through tears.
"You know I can't stay angry with you." Jimin replied, wiping his best friend's tears.
The two stayed in the garden to finally clear things up between them.

"You think I'm the culprit because I'm suspicious?!" Jimin uttered, amused.
"Yeah. Sorry. You started acting weird towards me when you knew about me and Tae." Jungkook added.
Jimin fidgeted on his seat.
"Well, I'm sorry. It was partly my fault for confusing you." Jimin confessed.
"What do you mean?" Jungkook inquired.
"I've been avoiding you before because I have a secret too." Jimin started looking away.
"Chim.. what is it?"
Jimin blushed. He looked at his cute little fingers for a moment before deciding to speak.
"I've been secretly dating Yoongi." He blushed, full red.
Jungkook was beyond shock. He didn't see that coming, well he knows Yoongi likes Jimin, but he never thought their relationship will actually progress knowing how shy Yoongi is.
"Woah! Since when?" Jungkook peered.
"Uhmmm, a week when you started your relationship with Mr. Kim." Jimin admitted.
"Oh. So that's why you're avoiding me?" Jungkook questioned.
"Yes. You know me Kook. I can't keep a secret from you that's why I started to avoid you a little.... and Yoongi gets a bit jealous of you..." He whispered the last sentence.
"Of me?! The fuck that grandpa! He gets jealous of me?!" Jungkook can't believe what he's hearing.
"Yeah... Sorry.. I've explained it to him a lot of times, but he just doesn't accept it." Jimin smiled apologetically.
"That makes sense. So everytime you're busy, you're wih Yoongi?"
"Yes." Jimin blushed even more.
"I'm happy for you Chim." Jungkook hugged his best friend. His mood got better now that they have forgiven each other.
"Wait, then why are you so paranoid about your phone?" Jungkook asked.
Jimin stiffined. His face looks like a tomato from embarrassment.
"None of your business." Jimin smiled cheekily before running away.
Jungkook grinned. He never thought that his innocent best friend is no longer innocent.
"Yah! Get your kinky ass back here! Let me watch your dirty vids!" Jungkook shouted, making other students look at them.
"Fuck you Kook!" Jimin mumbled, his face literally turned bloody red as he covers his face in embarrassment.
Jungkook laughed, the kind of laugh that he doesn't experience for a while. His spirit is lifted.
He'll be able to endure.
He looked at the sky and whispered.
"When will it snow?"
